Definitely a local bar! Which in many cases can be great! On this visit came in for dinner and drinks! Greeted by the bartender for our party of five with menus tossed on the table. Walks back to bar as she rolls her eyes at a customer at the bar and puts thumbs up like lucky me! A welcoming like that made us feel like we didn't belong there. Definitely seems like they want locals only! I highly recommend if your from out of town you take your business to many of the other friendly restaurants in town! We got up and left. Walked to a nice place around the corner and had a great meal and service. The sever was compensated above and beyond just for treating my family as they should anyone. Locals or not! You would think tourists should be a priority as they help fuel the local economy. Not everywhere apparently! Steer clear!

I love this Bar and I would 100% recommend it. I wish I had found it earlier in my trip here to St Croix. The bartenders were awesome and friendly and made really good drinks nice and strong. And my meal was phenomenal. I had the chicken parmesan sandwich. And I ate every bit of it. This was a great evening out and I would recommend the tap deck.

See updated review below. Original review: Photo on black serving plate is their grinder sandwich (now $16 with no chips or side). For comparison, sandwich on white paper is a competitor a couple blocks away that comes with chips. Note size difference and amount of meat visible. Flavor of grinder was OK, but this sandwich isn't enough to cause me to want to go back. Tuna poke bowl had good flavor but had also shrunk visibly since our last visit. Still a good place to have a beer on the deck and watch the sunset though. Edit 02/2023: Original rating was 3 stars. Have been several times since original review, but this trip was different. Went with friends who ordered the grinder sandwich and I was happily surprised by what I saw. The sandwich was a 'full size' sandwich, week appointed with meat and cheese. It also came with a side! (See last photo) Props to the proprietor for 'upping their game'!

Behind the dive shop and up the stairs. Great place for a beer, pain killer, poke bowl and a view of the port. Friendly service.

Food was cold. Meatballs taste left over. Hamburger with no lettuce and tomatoe and very dry. Drinks were not flavorful at all. Not the Caribbean taste we were expecting. St Thomas restaurant was much better. Service charge 13.99 automatic charge not good at all.

Service was great and attentive. Most locals give poor service, you can tell these staff were not born and raised in St. Croix just by their level of customer service. Food was put of this world! Great prices! Great service! Great view! Great place!

Great location and good food. Mango margarita was great, rum & Coke was typical, and the Painkiller was painfully missing Pussers. Basic gold rum gets lost in the coconut. Fish of the day, Mahi, was nicely done; the cheeseburger wrap was great, though options on “doneness” would be nice… the spicy mayo made up for the med-well burger. Island time is a thing… it’s not fast food. The balcony was a great pre-sunset location, and I can understand air conditioned indoor dining (not common) on warm nights.

A spectacular experience great food great service great location and phenomenal sunsets. Try the avocado feta dip. It’s the best I’ve ever ever had. Would love to get the recipe.

A long wait to order and be served. Ate half of a flour and a morsel of lobster dip and a dry wrap, served with plain tortilla chips. The cherry on top was 20% tip added to the bill, for 2 people. Other tables left, very politely. We should've too, but we'll definitely not return.

DISCLAIMER: We are a group of 5 traveling via a cruise line. St. Croix was one of our stops, and this restaurant was a few yards from the dock. We walked there, so I cannot provide insight on parking. We are from SC, and love to frequent tap houses and breweries/pubs. OVERVIEW: Server was nice and grill/cook was super cool, but food quality was super poor and NOT worth the price. This may be a beloved spot by locals for the view and maybe nighttime activities, but not as a tourist. If I lived nearby, I would not return. I'd like to note that it was not the price of the food that was the issue, but the quality that followed. I would not have minded paying $17 for nachos, had they been good. See photos for reference. Also, I don't know about the recent review that says the pool is free to play, but we were told that it's $5 per person. The drinks weren't bad and the waitress was nice, which saved the review. I am going to try and be as polite as possible in this review, as based on looking at past reviews, the person responding as the owner is quite defensive. We were greeted at our table almost immediately and handed paper menus, but never checked on again until we asked for help. While the waitress was nice, we waited nearly 10min for her to come over (again, not until one of us went to the bar and ASKED for help) and take our drinks. We are regular tourists so we understand the pricing of food, but typically it is met with quality. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The burger bun was so rock hard and stale that it had to be removed before eating. Absolutely NO changes could be made to the order (such as adding tomato or lettuce to the plain burger) and no sides could be ordered, according to our waitress. The chicken wrap had stale tortilla and extremely dry UNmarinated chicken. Luckily, the spicy mayo made it edible. The side pasta salad was interesting but not bad. The nachos were mostly crumbs and shredded cheese (see photo). The price for the beer flight wasn't bad, but the Soca Spiked Seltzer tasted like seltzer water. The chicken kabobs were actually pretty good, but not filling at all. The burger itself was cooked well, too, but the accompaniments were disappointing. This tells me that their grill cook was great at cooking, but maybe not the best replacement for the owner, who I learned was not even on the island. Another note: they allowed someone to bring their two dogs into the bar/restaurant, and while I don't necessarily mind pets like others might, I could see why this would upset others. PLEASE READ: While I understand that businesses came under hard times during COVID and may not have recovered, charging high prices for sub-par or disappointing food is not acceptable. I would happily pay $17 for a good plate of nachos, or the same price for a well made burger. This review is not a slight on your pricing, but your quality of ingredients. I also heard that someone, while we were dining, unfortunately ran out on their tab. Thats extremely sad to me, as I am always one to simply bite the bullet and count a meal as a loss, rather than complain or leave without paying (though a 20% forced gratuity, no matter the size of the party is ridiculous - especially if its added because your standard customers dont tip.) I will also update reviews if I return with a different experience.

Tina and V went out of their way to help us when we first arrived in St Croix! We got screwed over by our air bnb rental and went into Tap Deck to figure out what to do next. They found us a place to stay that night!! We came back to Tap Deck every night after that and they were so amazing and friendly. All the food that we ordered was really good and the drinks were on point. We will definitely be back!!

Definitely would recommend for locals only. We walked in with no greeting from the bartender. She gave us a weird look, along with the rest of the crowd in the bar. After being rudely told there were no seats out on the deck…there were, we went looking for seats within the restaurant. The bartender threw our menus on the table and said with attitude, “once you figure out where you’re sitting, here are your menus.” She walked back to the bar and looked at a man sitting there and put both her thumbs up like “oh lucky me, so glad that I have to deal with these people!” We began looking at the menus, but were so turned off by the rude service, we didn’t want to give our money to this establishment. Little did this woman know, our party of five would’ve order multiple alcoholic drinks and lots of food. She, as well as the restaurant itself, missed out on some good money simply because we weren’t locals and she’s didn’t want to serve us. Would never recommend this place..what a shame!!

This is one of the few places in all of St Croix that actually has air conditioning. It's not even that great, but they also have fans and it is definitely cooler than outside! It offers a great view on their balcony to the fort and the pier. The bartender and chef were very laid back but still attentive to everyone and super personable. The chef came out to make sure he cooked our cheeseburger sliders how we liked them and the bartender kept our drinks full. This place has one pool table that does not cost anything to play, and everyone took turns. They also have foosball and darts. They have lots of outlets so you can charge your phone! It was pretty much an American's dream bar. I'm really happy we came across it. They also have a fun game there where you can roll five dice like in Yahtzee, and if you get a Yahtzee then you win some money. Of course you have to pay a few dollars to play the game, and we all did it, and no one, but it was super fun. They had great food and fun swivel bar stools. Everything was clean and modernized. There's one bathroom upstairs and two downstairs in the courtyard. It is on the second floor and you have to go through the courtyard to get to it.

Great menu, great food, nice atmosphere with out door deck with views of the pier. Air hockey and pool too. AC if you like. Nice folks. Good service. I had the crab sliders and ice tea. My daughter had the chicken curry sliders. Both delish! 🌴🍻🍹😎😋
