I don't usually do reviews unless it's really good 👍 or really bad👎. That being said this place is something special. Let me tell you at first when you walk in it does smell like cigs. But that lets you know this place has stories. They got daily specials and free off street safe parking in the back. Food and drinks was worth every penny. This place is a true gem. Three generation owners (Jimmy current owner) made me feel welcome. You owe it to yourself to experience real Milwaukee history. Straight 🔥 had the 8oz filet and chicken Cesar salad.

Old/Old School Charm: I've been past this place many times and always wondered what exactly it was, as it looks like a dive bar in the front, but then has a huge seating area out back. Stopped in to check it out and teleported back into the past. The staff was friendly, and were surrounded by friendly regulars at the bar. We will probably stop back to try to food at some point. I can't determine if it is an "old school" style establishment or just "old." A little outside repair/refurbishment.

Dang. Not a great visit. Came in for dinner. From the get go the waitress (Kayla?) seemed very disinterested in waiting on me. I never mind someone being maybe distant or stoic. But when I get the feeling my coming in is annoying you? I don't take that so well. Had the chicken and ribs. Salad was good. Chicken was lukewarm/cold. Ribs were hot, so I enjoyed them much more. Bread was pretty dry. Sodas are not free to refill. Not much great to say here, unfortunately. Maybe on the weekends it's a better experience? But as it stands currently, I can not recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice neighborhood supper club, great elderly bartender who enjoys making cocktails. The food was excellent and so was the service, 2 of us had the short rib special which fell off of the bones, the other 2 had shrimp, equally as good. The desserts were to die for!

Hadn't been to the restaurant in years. It's almost the same! Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Planning on going back soon.

Even though it's in a neighborhood location this is a fantastic hidden gem. Old school atmosphere with amazing food. The cocktails are very reasonably priced too! You absolutely will love this place.

I want to start out by saying the server we had was new but did a wonderful job. We ordered the mozzarella marinara, 12oz ribeye and 8oz filet. The mozzarella marina was delicious. The steaks were anything but. Neither of the steaks were cooked to order and both lacked flavor and tasted freezer burnt. The 8oz filet was raw and the 12oz ribeye was dry and tough. The server asked management to speak to the table and remove 1 of the 2 steaks but refused to both. I have never been to an establishment where management refused to speak with a customer. Highly unprofessional. I feel for the server as you could tell she felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. To make matters worse, as we were leaving I stopped to use the restroom and one of the kitchen staff was in there and gave off them impression that they had just been throwing up.

Pitch's is an old-school supper club serving classic Italian dishes plus a nice assortment of meat and seafood options. There's also a full service bar, which makes great dirty martinis. The atmosphere is casual with a rather vintage decor, keeping the focus on the food. We ordered the Fried Calamari and Mozarella Marinara for starters. The Calamari was nicely breaded and crispy, and the mozarella pieces were large, lightly breaded, soft, and gooey. For dinner, we ordered the Deep Fried Shrimp, which was a little rubbery, and the Pork Chops Calabrese, which was very tender and flavorful. The side salad was made of a mixture of greens, the coleslaw was nice and crunchy but was lacking in tang, and the hashbrowns were good but very crunchy. Our waitress was friendly and enjoyed joking around with us, but she was a little slow and seemed distracted. Still, our food came out hot and overall timely.

Pitch's Lounge & Restaurant is one of those old school Italian neighborhood joints that has been around forever. They serve good stiff drinks and they have great ribs and pasta. It has not changed much over the years. When you step inside it is like going back in time but that is part of the appeal. The servers have all worked there for a long time and they are super friendly. They also have a private parking lot with a handicapped accessible entrance in the rear of the building. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent menu! Good is always good. Thursday free brunch 1 - 3 pm. (Requires bar purchase). Great selection of happy hour drinks. Great atmosphere and friendly servers. Known for their BBQ Ribs - which are delicious! Craft cocktail and beer selection. Doesn't matter if they'er busy, food and drinks arrived without a long wait! Spacious dining room for table service. Can't praise their customer experience enough! YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME DURING LUNCH AND DINNER!

Have been there many times in my life and was not at all impressed this time. It pains me to give this review as I looked forward to dining there since last week. The ribs were barely warm and the veggies were luke warm. Not the same place my Grandmother took me as a kid 50 years ago

Place was pretty slow from a customer side of things, but service was fast. Steak was good, but hash browns were overcooked and very crispy or charred. Ribs were too tough and difficult to remove from the bones. Had some spare ribs underneath the half rack which were better cooked.

By far the best food on the east side... small bar but very big ball room and dining area for parties and eating.

This was an unusual experience for one of my favorite Rib Joints... I'll still give them another chance, I guess the labor shortage market can make even the best places error in their efforts to just get anybody to fill vacancies. I'll change my review if it improves the next visit. This was a truley disappointing experience, poorly cooked food, EXTREMELY inattentive service... not the norm¿? Really hope you hear back from me...

As always the Pitch's staff is very polite and helpful when describing their plates and knowledgeable on how they are prepared. The food never disappoints, and the portions are always plentiful. before and or after dinner we highly recommend visiting the bar where you will find Ritchie, or owner Jimmy Pitchario behind the pine serving up the best Old Fashion in Milwaukee, not to mention the friendly conversations with other patrons and bartenders alike. If you have not yet visited Pitche's Restaurant, you owe it to yourself to stop by this Milwaukee instation since 1942 and see for yourself why people travel near and far to enjoy the food, people, and old-time ambiance that has custoomers coming back for over 70 years.

Had a great dinner at Pitches. Old school food and service, and killer old fashioned’s. Can’t wait to go back!

Waitstaff was friendly and accommodating on a Saturday night. Beer list was weak, and the wine was barely drinkable. Spaghetti dish I was served was bland and the sausage was mealy - the single meatball was the highlight of the dish. Overall it seemed like a place for elderly people with low food standards.

If there were no stars, that would be a better assessment. The food is like something you would see on Gordan Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares!!! Like literally, everything in the restaurant is older than my mother. As a matter of fact, I asked her about this place and she said she use to go here in the 20s. Mind you, my nothing is 70 years old. Thus, the décor and ambiance was as old and antiquated as a rotary phone. Carpeting is old and stained looking. Literally. Nothing has been refreshed since they've opened. All of our food looked microwaved and not fresh. The waitress tried to force an incorrect order on a person in our party. After 4 attempts at doing this she finally gave up and went back to the kitchen to correct the error. Which was not the person who ordered it's fault. Finally the look from the waitress when a member wanted to leave cash for his meal was priceless. He actually felt so obligated to appease her that he stayed until the bill came to prove his was not skipping out. There is nothing anyone would want to take from this place. Including the food they've paid for. Not my style in general. Staff was less than friendly. Won't be back until they refresh their look.

Great experience for our first of many visits to Pitchs. Our host was great and attentive…kudos sir, the bartender came to our high top immediately to serve us…very impressive and welcoming, and our table was ready ahead of time despite being busy …great turnover! They were busy so we didn’t mind the short wait on the food. Incredible perch fry and ribs, and the portions will not leave you wanting dessert! Loved it!!!
