Front
desk
person
was
kind
of
nice,
but
looked
at
me
like,
"are
you
sure
you're
supposed
to
be
staying
here?"
The
parking
lot
was
occupied
by
6-8
men
with
their
shirts
off
sitting
around
in
lawn
chairs.
By
the
time
I
decided
to
call
it
a
night
I
went
out
one
last
time
to
check
my
vehicle
and
the
group
had
migrated
over
to
be
next
to
my
truck.
I
fully
expected
to
be
missing
a
catalytic
converter
and/or
wheels
by
sunrise.
My
room
had
a
neatly
made
queen
sized
bed.
There
was
a
small
closet
without
a
door
on
it
(hinge
marks
routed
out
where
a
door
once
likely
was).
Toilet
seat
almost
fell
off
in
my
hand
when
I
lifted
the
lid.
No
TP
holder.
A
roll
was
on
the
back
of
the
toilet.
There
was
a
hair
in
the
sink.
I
did
not
venture
into
the
shower.
A
black
widow
was
perched
in
the
upper
left
side
of
my
entry
door.
I
blew
on
it
to
get
it
to
crawl
away
so
I
could
enter
without
a
chance
of
it
getting
inside.
Pleather
couch
was
badly
worn,
sitting
on
a
tile
floor.
"Kitchen
area"
was
defined
by
mismatched
tiles,
a
small
table,
a
microwave,
and
a
small
portable
fridge
on
the
floor.
Breakfast
is
at
the
property
next
door.
I
did
not
go
to
it.
After
a
restless
night
I
was
ready
to
leave,
which
was
before
breakfast
was
available
next
door
(7am).
They
charged
a
card
I
used
to
hold
the
room.
When
I
arrived
I
asked
them
to
reverse
that
charge
and
put
it
on
another
card.
As
of
this
writing
they
have
not
reversed
the
first
charge,
so
I
have
effectively
paid
$338.00
for
the
room
(it
will
not
remain
so).
I
was
told
the
person
who
could
reverse
the
original
charge
was
not
in
until
Monday.
It
is
now
Monday
afternoon
and
no
one
answers
the
phone
at
the
front
desk.
If
I
can't
get
in
touch
with
them
in
the
next
day
or
two
I'll
call
the
credit
card
company
to
rectify
the
situation.
Everything
was
intact
on
my
truck
when
I
left.
It
was
a
busy
weekend
for
some
reason
in
St
George,
so
there
were
very
few
choices.
Given
the
same
scenario,
I'd
sleep
in
my
truck
in
a
park
next
time.
The
pricing
is
anything
but
economy
and
the
Suites
must
be
down
the
road
a
ways.
I
think
I
left
one
of
the
pairs
of
prescription
glasses
in
my
room.
I
called
and
was
told
nothing
was
found.
I
might
have
left
them
elsewhere,
but
I
don't
know
where
else
they
would
have
been.
I
rode
the
Tour
of
St
George
that
morning
and
did
nothing
else,
so
they
somehow
disappeared
between
my
evening
arrival
and
when
I
looked
for
them
after
finishing
my
ride,
but
I
can't
fully
attribute
that
loss
to
this
institution
as
I
am
not
100%
sure.
They
did
not
try
very
hard
to
look
though.
The
voice
tone
was
one
of
annoyance
when
I
called,
followed
by
(in
theory)
an
indifferent
unenthusiastic
attempt
to
find
them,
which
consisted
of
two
calls
(the
first
being
disconnected)
and
about
20
seconds
of
searching
.
.
.
not
even
enough
time
to
get
to
the
room
I
was
in.
Typically
I
do
not
leave
negative
reviews,
but
this
experience
differed
so
drastically
from
the
advertised
booking
website
that
I
felt
I
should
issue
a
cautionary
statement
for
those
who,
like
me,
might
find
themselves
in
a
pinch.
My
advice
is
to
drive
on
to
the
next
town
or
sleep
in
your
car.
