I
went
to
college
here
a
decade
ago
and
even
worked
for
the
Grind
when
it
was
family
owned.
Seeing
that
it
finally
sold
felt
bittersweet
(they
listed
it
ten
years
ago).
On
the
one
hand
I
miss
the
more
cozy,
mismatched
furniture
feeling
it
had
back
then,
but
on
the
other
hand
the
new
in-house
roasting
is
pretty
cool.
The
atmosphere
is
basically
the
same:
laid
back.
They
also
kept
some
of
the
old
furniture
despite
the
renovations.
While
the
new
menus
are
easier
to
read,
the
flair
of
the
old
chalk
menus
was
more
homey.
That
said,
the
coffee
tastes
how
I
remember
and
is
still
Cafe
Ibis.
The
espresso
here
is
very
bitter
and
strong,
so
be
warned.
Food
was
good.
Kolob
salad
was
HUGE
and
tbh
I
didn’t
even
finish
it!
Glad
to
see
vegan
options.
My
only
critique
is
the
use
of
Califia
oatmilk.
Personally,
I
prefer
Chobani
in
my
coffee
especially
iced
coffee
because
it
doesnt
separate
which
Califia
does.
Chobani
also
makes
an
extra
creamy
version
for
latte
steaming.
All
in
all,
nice
to
stop
in
again.
There’s
def
more
space
for
students
to
study,
and
it
would
be
a
nice
atmosphere
for
it.
