Incredible! Top 5 courses I have ever played. The staff and crew are amazing and what a great experience. The course is in immaculate condition and the facilities are second to none. Nowhere else will you get a course with beautiful red rock scenery playing among lava rock.

Arguably the best course I have ever played. From the moment my group and I arrived, we were treated to nothing short of a 5-star experience. We were greeted by friendly staff, our bags were loaded onto carts which had already been prepared with our names and custom bag tags, and we were led to the driving range. After a quick warm up, we were guided to the first tee and our starter provided us an immaculate description of the course and what to expect over the next 18 holes. Once we started playing, we realized just how unique this course truly is. Vibrant green fairways surrounded by black lava fields with the red rocks of southern Utah painting the horizon - we were awe struck. Myself nor my group could have imagined a better overall experience. I can’t wait for my next opportunity to play another round.

Beautiful, beautiful course. Many visually spectacular holes, with fairways lined by black lava. Practice facility one of the best I’ve ever seen, including an 36-hole practice putting surface, driving from real grass, and perfect sand traps to practice from. Staff was very attentive. Fifteen-minute spacing on tee-times made it feel like private country club experience. It is an Incredibly challenging course, especially the greens! Bring your A-game or leave frustrated! Did not like having music at practice facility — I found it quite distracting! And black lava, while spectacular lining the lush fairways, absorbed and radiated intense heat. So glad it wasn’t a really warm day when I played.

I had the opportunity to play the Black Dessert 18 hole preview on 5/25 and it was absolutely amazing! I was very impressed with how grown in the course is already and the overall condition of this new course is amazing! The views from tee shots are spectacular and just about every hole is a “picture hole” with the black lava rock, green grass and red rock back drops. The staff was also very professional and very friendly. I highly recommend black desert and look forward to playing it regularly in the future.

This course is immaculate. Challenging but every hole is fun to play. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The sand is like powder which is unique to St. George. This is the best course in the area, if not the state. Great experience. I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve had the privilege of playing all over the world at some beautiful golf courses in black desert brings up with all of those. The unique layout and contrasting colors make this course incredibly unique. It feels like you’re golfing on another planet. The service team is incredible. The pro shop team accommodating and I will definitely be back.

It is a beautiful course. It is one of more challenging courses I have been on. It started off sour just because they don't have a lot of carts so they made my Brother ride with a stranger that we didn't even know. We ask them if we could just have a third cart on our tee time which has not been a problem anywhere else but they said they could because they didn't have enough carts but after complaining to them they said we could pay a cart fee if we wanted to. That is the part that made us more upset just because we first were told there is no extra carts for the day but than if you wanted to spend more money (which we already spent $250) than we can have our own carts. Overall it is still a great course. I don't know how spectators are going to watch the PGA there because there seems to not be a lot of standing room but it will be fun to see the PGA come to Utah. The other thing that they could work on is hot food in the carts. It is all inclusive but not having hot foods is carts is discouraging. We ate afterwards but it would have been nice to eat earlier or during golfing.
