Excellent service, attention to detail & absolutely loved the home made ravioli I had. Delicious meal. We had cancelled an another restaurant for this - so was a bit apprehensive- was not disappointed- so glad we changed & also didn’t have to pay the exorbitant prices we would have had to pay! Can absolutely recommend- will visit again if we’re In Jersey again

Having visited the La Taverne on various occasions in previous years we were very disappointed. The quality of food was not as it was on previous visits.ie. Fatty bacon in its pasta and no great chilli flavour.. We always praised the restaurant for its quality but unfortunately this time it has failed miserably.. Sorry guys but we will not be back. We understand times have been rough with COVID but you have increased your prices but also cut the quality of your dishes, you can't have it both ways.

Had a lovely meal, staff very accommodating. Very popular restaurant for good reason so make sure you book! I had the trio of fish which was beautiful!

Amazing place to visit, I came here with my parents, my brother & his wife, we had an amazing time! The food was delicious, there was a good selection to choose from. Most of us went for the set menu, I did. For starter I got French onion soup (this was the daily soup special), my main was sea bass, that was nicely cooked :), and for desserts I got myself profiteroles, my dad had the Panacotta.

A very bland and expensive, very quick meal experience, absolutely no atmosphere in here, brightly lit, and room temperature cool and not warm, cheapest house wine of poor quality was £26, ordered prawn starter, not the usual quality pink Marie rose sauce, very average at best, mains okay ish, staff uninterested and bored looking, we eat out a lot in Jersey and this is definitely not great value. Won't return.

Can't praise la Taverne highly enough for the quality of the food and service at fair prices. Calf's liver melted in the mouth and my girlfriend's steak was also delicious.and cooked to perfection.

We visited this place because of it's high rating on google maps. Although the staff was very nice, they forgot to bring our drinks. We called them to inform that they did not bring us the drinks, and later we noticed that they charged us twice for drinks. Luckily they rectified the bill. The French onion soup was too oily. The mash that I got tasted of old potatoes. One of the people from my company also did not enjoy their meal. The coffee was good.

A delightful and authentic Italian restaurant which is ideally located, in the centre of town, for a good old fashioned "business lunch". Excellent menu options, professional service, and a great kitchen make for a very agreeable establishment. TIP: Try the liver with mash & onion gravy

Absolutely beautiful food - cooked to perfection. The calves liver was the best I have had - really tender and wonderfully presented.

A little gem of a restaurant that we came across in St Helier and were not disappointed. Lovely french and Italian dishes and very reasonable prices including a set menu. Definitely recommend that you check it out.

Excellent meal. Myself, snails and rossini. Partner, brie then chicken followed by a shared cheese desert. Portions just right. Bit less in cost to Bellagios and more than Romanos. About rhe aame cost as Aromas and equally as good.

We went to La Taverne on warm recommendation from a nice and chatty gentlemen who we met at the Jersey Zoo reception. We visited lunchtime, and it was quite busy, but managed to get a table for two without having had booked. My partner ordered Scallops with Pancheta and I went for Tagliatelle with Seafood. My Tagliatelle came with the sauce quite dried out on the surface of the dish. Most probably due to the plate spending a bit longer on the pass, under IR lite, than necessary. Apart from the appearance that resulted in pasta been pushed a bit over what would be considered al dente, but luckily still not overcooked to the point of falling to pieces. Another niggle was underseasoning and not an enormous amount of flavour. The plate would've benefited greatly from touch if salt, and a little bit of garlic would've gone a long way. The seafood was excellent, though. King prawns, prawns, muscles and even a scallop, were all absolutely fresh and succulent. My partner's scallops wrapped in panchetta looked really nice on the plate, and she was delighted with, both, textures and flavours. Service was timely, efficient and friendly.
