We
had
the
most
wonderful
visit
to
Hamptonne
Country
Museum
last
week
in
Jersey.
We
love
open
air
museums
and
this
did
not
disappoint.
Staff
were
super
helpful
and
welcoming,
especially
Dave
who
went
out
of
his
way
to
tell
us
about
the
museum,
the
Colombier
and
the
animals.
He
also
gave
a
great
talk
about
the
traditional
of
Cider
making.
There
are
several
buildings
to
visit
which
highlight
what
life
was
like
on
this
farm
in
different
time
periods
and
we
learnt
all
about
the
Jersey
bonnet,
herbs,
different
dishes
to
cook
and
how
the
animals
were
used.
We
got
to
feed
chickens
which
delighted
my
son
and
see
piglets
and
Jersey
Cows.
There
are
lovely
grounds
to
walk
around.
The
cafe
had
a
good
selection
of
cakes,
sandwiches
and
ice
creams.
We
are
so
glad
we
went,
we
learnt
so
much
and
had
a
really
lovely
time
there.,
We
would
definitely
go
back
when
we
return
to
Jersey.
