This was a great golf course! We stayed at the Hilton, so this was only a short golf cart away. We started playing at 8:30 and this requires a caddie. JR was our caddie and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Check in process was smooth and club rentals were also readily available. I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Montego Bay! The views are absolutely incredible. You will get waterfront views, as well as hills/jungle views. We were paired up with another golfer, as we were a smaller group and it was busy.

Cinnamon Hill was a fantastic course! My caddie, Arnette, did a great job helping me read greens and with course knowledge. The pro shop was especially nice because I left my passport in the golf bag and the nice gentleman brought it back to me at my hotel. Course layout was beautiful, many great photo opportunities. I highly recommend playing and opting for a caddie!

Golfed Cinnamon Hill last week and we were impressed! The checkin at the pro shop was easy and the woman set the tone for the day! Rush was our caddy and he had 30yrs+ experience. I’m a beginner golfer and he gave me tips that made a huge difference. My partner is a big golfer and found himself learning as well! Such a wealth of knowledge about golf, the course and the island. Might also be the only person who could tell me to be more patient without me getting grumpy! 🤣The scenery was incredible and it was different having to wait for mongoose and crabs to move :) The only downside was the lack of balls at the driving range, but the actual golfing was 10/10!

Beautiful course with great views and a lot of elevation changes. There were some areas of the course that were in rough shape but the caddy said it was from heavy rains. The caddys was very helpful and helped out on some crazy long putts. They also made it fun ours was a female she had a great personality. The course had a lot of history and it was great hearing about it from the caddy.

Fantastic golf course. Ask for Dianne as a caddy, she is the best. Please note, white witch is currently closed on this property and only cinnamon Hill can be played. Additionally, I was not able to book online, as it said all booked an no availability. Being able to book online ahead of time would be a huge benefit and also help this course out.

This course was great! The landscape of the 18 holes was picturesque. They used its natural environment to create a breathtaking landscape where the course itself was manicured to perfection. My caddy Vorrel was so good I came back 2 additional times when initially planning for one round. His years of experience on that course and ability to keep it simple made things I've wanted to improve, to be more competitive, simple in making adjustments for the better. Also Charmaine and Kamara both were great in making sure they provided the best of service while eating a light snack at the food stand while waiting to be taken back to the resort. Their friendly banter helped keep the feeling warm and welcoming after 4 hours of great greens with both jungle and ocean backdrops. Can't wait to return.

This is the coolest golf course with an amazing views and very challenging holes. Highly recommend checking this course out. Our Caddy Vernon was very patient insightful and a complete pleasure to have played with.

played 18 here march 9th, 2023, at about 10 am. all i can say is this place delivers and the price is worth it. beautiful scenery both on the ocean and in the jungle/mountains that you’re not getting at any other course in jamaica. back 9 gets pretty difficult but our caddy, tony, was excellent and didn’t give a bad read all day. also a fun guy to play a round with, definitely request him if you get the chance. after our round was over, i bought a hat at the pro shop, somehow got caught up in a conversation about the NBA with the guy working the shop, and ended up forgetting to even take the bag he’d already put my new hat in. just before our shuttle takes off i see him hustling over, bag in hand, yelling for my cab to stop. great course and great hardworking caddies and staff to go along with it

Challenging course. Greens take some getting use to. Fast and slow. Subtle hills make them difficult to read. Greens in ok condition. Fairways a little rough in spots but overall good shape. My caddy was Warren and he is super! Cart paths are in poor shape. Excellent gift shop

Wife and I golfed here in June 2024, great course! We had a blast. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rental clubs were terrible but we made them work. Extremely old Nike clubs, I didn’t even know people still used Nike clubs! I just didn’t want to ill grade to Callaway since we are just playing a scramble. We always scramble on vacation, were there to have fun not win championships. Scrambling makes it funner. Back nine you might lose some balls, front nine you won’t. We brought six balls in total, played a scramble and came home with three balls. Great views of the water from multiple holes!

Wow, wow, wow, Just been last week, amazing experience and worth the money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The price covers the cart and practice balls on the driving range, so get there at least half hour before your tee time to take advantage of that.

The course is challenging and have good ocean views. It is nice to be on course in a sunny day. Green speed can be inconsistent in a few holes.

This is the worst golf course anyone will play. The course is in a horrible shape. There are no sands in the bunkers. All you find in it are rocks. The fairway is like cows pasture. I don’t know who gives this course 4.5 stars. This golf course is in a terrible shape. If you are going to Jamaica to play golf, I advise you not to waste your money. White Witch is the same, not even playable. Take it from me, I have nothing to hide in this review. Don’t waste your money. The owner or management do not care about these golf courses. Lots of history but terrible golf course. Every thing you can expect in a golf course is bad with this course. You expect to play a course in the likes of golf courses in the Dominican Republic or Mexico or Bahamas. This was very sad. This place is very old and outdated. It has not seen maintenance in many years. I went here because of the reviews I read but those people who wrote the reviews must have been paid to write them. I have just finished playing this course today 5th of June 2023 and I will tell you it is the worst golf course I have played in the Caribbean and I will not be playing any Jamaica golf courses anymore. Just have fun in Jamaica put don’t waste your money on the golf course.

Awesome golf course! Definitely recommend trying when in Mobay. Interesting layout and get a good variety of Sea and jungle in the hills. Played solo in less than 3 hours one morning and the workers were friendly and pointed me in the right direction a few times. Make sure to occasionally pause and take some photos of the scenery. A bonus was to haggle for some extra balls at the range or with the street hustlers 😎👌

Most beautiful course I’ve ever been too! Beach vibes on the front 9 and mountain vibes on the back 9. Be prepared to lose some balls on the back.

I am very fortunate that I just started playing golf and this course was the second place I played during a family trip. Not only is the course scenic but it is very well kept. Once you get to hole #5 the views really start to set in. Our caddies were amazing and felt like they were part of the group while knowing there stuff. If it wasn't for them, I'd probably had played a lot worst.

The golf course was beautiful and diverse, starting with ocean views then transitioning to jungle valleys - breathtaking. It had rained and the course was wet. It was still a bit rainy off and on while we were there. What made our experience great was or caddies who go by Mario & Brian. I was with my wife and two sons (17 and 16 years old). My wife refuses to golf and the one time she tried 25 years ago, she gave up on the first tee, but we got her to join us while on vacation. I and my sons would classify us as bad golfers, but with those occasional great shots that keep us trying. Anyways, Mario & Brian made the wet day a fun one. My wife was actually hitting the ball and smiling which is a million miles from where her mindset was at with reduction golf. I actually had an above average game. The place is great, but you will spend some money. If saving money is your priority, then don’t golf and especially don’t golf in cool places like this while on vacation. On the other hand, if enjoying a great course on vacation is your priority, this place is likely going to make you happy, especially if you have Mario & Brian as your caddies. And for those comments about caddies not looking for balls, not true with these guys.

Amazing Course- best one I've ever played! Fairways and greens in great shape. Front 9 has some incredible ocean views, Back 9 you get a good feel for the rainforest biome/elevation of the beautiful island of Jamaica. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Played while on a cruise stop at Montego Bay and all communication with the pro-shop manager, Ms. Shanique, to schedule the tee time was very efficient, clear, and helpful. Upon arrival, everything was indeed set up for us, the rental clubs were in great shape, and we had an amazing time. Would definitely do again when back in Jamaica.

My husband and I played here on our honeymoon and had a blast. All staff was so nice and welcoming. Very different golf experience but loved every second of it. Nike clubs we rented were a bit older but they worked perfectly fine for us. The course is beautiful. Some of the greens are rougher but the views get better and better as you go. The front 9 has more of the ocean views and the back 9 transitions to more jungle and rolling hills. It was a little pricey with having to rent clubs and buy our balls but it was an experience we will never forget. We got there early and used the driving range prior. They allowed us to start 30 mins early and hardly had to worry about how fast or slow we played because there wasn't that many people on the course. It was a hot round of golf but it was so great. Would recommend playing here as its an amazing experience if you love golf.

This place is very very nice. Allison in the clubhouse was so pleasant to deal with. Out caddie was Kendra and she is a great resource for on the course information. The views around the course are worth the cost which is not that cheap but could be a lot worse. Try and book with the course directly to save a few dollars. Caddies are not required but recommended.

Played this course twice in a 2 week stay in jamacia the caddies were brilliant with the course knowledge and was a great laugh aswel, will defintly play again next time I visit jamacia

This course is incredible. Hands down the best course I’ve ever played on, and for a good price to boot. There are holes right alongside the beach, if you hit it too hard you’d hit the ocean, to other holes that are in the middle of the jungle with waterfalls right next to you.

Brilliant course, lots of hazards, lots to see. Highly recommend playing if you're staying locally.

Great course, great staff. Natalie was our 1st round caddy, and she was loads of fun as well as very knowledgeable about the course. Vernon caddied for our last round and was very nice. Course was in great shape. Nice, challenging layout with SPECTACULAR ocean views on several holes. DEFINITELY recommend.

Bogie golfer here - absolutely loved the course. Each hole was more and more stunning. Literally a golf course in a jungle. We didn't care about our score honestly though we played pretty well - was just a beautiful day out. Scenery and elevation changes are spectacular. Very memorable course and vibe. Course is in decent condition. Some tee boxes and greens are rough but didn't impact overall impression.

I enjoy the the golfing and golf, however, I really, really don't need or want a caddy. It's just another money grab to add on to your expenses.

Excellent day! I’m an American football coach who visited Jamaica ?? for the first time with my family. My sons and wife all went out on Sunday July 14th, at 9am. Our caddie #1 was the best at reading greens ever! The staff was friendly and kind to us! Great experience! Awesome views of the ocean ? as well as the natural forest!

There were numerous choices of golf courses in Jamaica and we are so happy we chose Cinnamon Hill. First, the course was breathtaking, challenging and in remarkable shape. Second, the staff was amazing! The pro shop, bar and groundskeeping staff were all friendly, had a smile on their face, gave a wave and made us feel welcome. However, the caddies we were assigned, Zola and Mario, were everything we could’ve ever asked for and more! Knowledgeable, friendly and, most importantly, FUN! We will definitely be back and recommend Cinnamon Hill to everyone...you won’t be disappointed!!

The most challenging course I have ever played and by far the most beautiful!

Golfed at Cinnamon Hill GC on 3/15/20 with my 3 sons and thought the course was in good shape and fun to play. The one problem we had were the caddies they assigned to us were absolutely worthless. All they do is point where they think you need to aim your putts which ended up wrong most of the time. They also tell you which club to use without really knowing the player’s ability. Many times the club they recommended to us was different than what you wanted to play and almost turned into an argument. We all have 5-15 handicaps and have had caddies before, but for the GC to make it a requirement to have a caddie for every two golfers that are worthless is a way for them to get more money from you. You should have the choice to have a caddie or not. Will not play this course again!

Pretty ocean views. Some holes right along the ocean, some climb into the hills for beautiful views. Went in August, so it was hot and course was dry. Some very challenging fairway traps and narrow doglegs, other holes are wide open.
