My trip to Antigua was the most fun I have ever had and the Kon Tiki was a big part of that. The owner/bartender Emma was so welcoming. She made the best rum punch and created the most fun atmosphere. By the end of the week, she was my dear friend. And I met so many incredible, intelligent fun people from all over. Coming from England, Ireland, Spain, Guyana, locals, and other places this US girl was in international heaven. .Hope to stay in touch with several of those I met there. I am a 70 year old woman, long distance swimmer traveling by myself and I felt not only safe but welcomed like royalty by all. Getting old is pretty awesome actually, I recommend it highly! Thanks again so much, Emma for making this such a special place. 🥰

After a few drinks, Emma, co-owner, becomes an angry drunk towards all the ladies. Such a shame for a unique place. Go every other week when she is off starting on Tuesdays.

Definitely worth a visit. This little bar on the water is only reachable by boat, unless you want to swimm over. They got a driver that picks you up from the beach. We had the home made rum punch which was amazing.

Johnny and Emma are just AMAZING!!! Johnny makes the great sandwiches while Emma makes the drinks!!! You just have to wave them down from the beach and they'll pick you up and take you back!!! My boyfriend and i spent every day there and never regretted it. Try a shot or 2 of the Death Wish😉.

Not sure what this racism thing is or what direction it’s supposed to go. Half the staff is black, the other half white. Half the patrons white, the other half black. Everyone friendly and having a great time together. Third year we’ve visited and still incredible.

Such a waste.. the floating bar looks great from ashore but IF you menage to get on the boat and not puch the guy steering it straight in the face you are greeted by the most intoxicated barwoman in the world. Embarassing doesnt even begin to describe it.

Worth the experience alone. We've already booked another trip back just to go see Emma and her crew again! It's a "no holds barred" kind of place!

It really is a unique experience on the Kontiki and the shots of death wish you drink at your peril. I know I had a great time, but I have no recollection of leaving the bar or getting back to the cruise ship. I just remember the rum punch was good as was the host.

Great service. Just wave to the bar from the beach for an optional boat ride over if you don’t want to swim out. Great music and atmosphere. Solid cocktail list. Could stay there all afternoon very easily!

Lovely relaxed afternoon anchored 150 yards off Dickenson Bay. Likkle & Emma took special care of us and we had a wonderful time drinking and chatting. A unique experience in an increasingly sterilised world.

Started off fun, but the owner Emma was absolutely hammered and ended up getting enraged at us and we swam off in a hurry. I didn’t know they were cash only, we swam over with my card in my bathing suit, I explained to her and her friends helping her run the bar I would swim back and get cash while my other friends waited at the bar. She was screaming at us and was belligerent! I came back with the cash but the boat driver wouldn’t come back to pick me up. It was sad because I thought it was such a cool spot!!

Beautiful location off the coast of Dickenson Bay, a shame the boat service took a very long time to acknowledge us however was worth it in the end. Slightly above average price here too.

Sounds like fun on the surface. I mean, who wouldn't like drinks on a floating bar in paradise, right? If it wasn't for the scorned bartender that clearly over-serves herself, I'd maybe even recommend it. The reality is, there are too many other wonderful things to see and do to risk watching a bartender have a meltdown and verbally assault you should the conversation go somewhere she doesn't like. For context, the topic of conversation was age and a wrong guess was all it took for her to go to a dark place and respond in a truly evil and vulgar manner. Make sure you read the other 1-star reviews...there is clearly a pattern.

Great place for a couple of drinks to pass an hour or so. Take the little ferry (a small boat with an outboard) from the beach. Enjoy the famous rum punch in moderation 😉. Also a good spot to take in the sunset. Would highly recommend it.

This was a very special moment for me as I scattered some of my dad's ashes into the sea. The whole experience was fantastic, the drinks were fab and jumping off into the sea was my fave bit! I even swam back to shore rather than get in the little boat! Loved it!

My wife and I enjoyed a few drinks on this floating bar. The owners were very pleasant and the drinks were very well made. The mojito was especially good! They have a small boat to take you back and forth to the beach or you can swim over as I saw a couple people do.

This bar is so unique and fun! Great drinks and quick bites. My group of friends and I had the most fun here. Would come back to Antigua just for this place.

I frequent Antigua probably 3-4 times a year through business. I make an effort to visit Emma Every.Single.Time! Lots of comments about racism, but I've never witnessed it to myself nor the others. Drinks are overpriced... but you pay for the experience and atmosphere! There are MUCH worse ways to spend an afternoon that sat there sinking her home-made over the top rum punch!! As another comment mentions, it's a no-holds-barred kinda place... so you can't be too picky! If you're easily upset, I'd probably stay clear... but she takes it as well as she gives it! Only banter!

Amazing experience! Emma was so lovely and welcoming if your ever in antigua be sure to swing by here. Best evening of my entire holiday spent chatting with Emma and the other locals while enjoying drinks and watching the sunset!

Went for sundowners and had an amazing time. Beers were cold and shots fast flowing. Emma the owner is bonkers and very entertaining! We even got a lift home at the end of the day! Thoroughly recommend a visit!
