Nice little joint to hang. BUT prices are about double what USA would charge at an equal venue. I get it, tourism, but still for some fried finger foods you wouldn't expect $20 plus drinks per person. In all fairness, Burger King was same prices. So maybe it's an island thing? πŸ˜„

Cheers in Antigua is my absolute favorite bar/restaurant to hang out at annually when i visit my favorite island. From start to finish the experience at Cheers is so much fun !! Located in the shopping area at Heritage Quay, this gem is located right in the center of the action. We arrived to great music playing for the duration of our visit. The staff is friendly, outgoing, and polite and the drinks are great !! The wait time for food is minimal and the menu choices are excellent. I reccomend the cheeseburger but most of all the fresh lobster served daily. The portions are large and a great value. Now, we make a special trip into St.John even if we are not shopping, just to visit Cheers !! Its an Antigua MUST !!

Taste: I ordered "Grilled Shrimps" and "Chicken Finger" so I could have variety for the review. When I received my order, I was flabbergasted. I honestly wondered if I got the right dish. Obviously, my shrimp were grilled by faith and not by sight. I was also confused by the combination of rice and fries. Let's comment on the taste. The shrimp were boiled (Not Grilled) with almost no seasoning (light butter). I appreciated that the dish came with lime wedges. However, there were plating issues. The wedges were touching the shrimp so some pieces tasted entirely of lime. The white rice was incredibly bland; no seasoning as well. Just boiled and plated. Ambience: Cheers Antigua is a great place to hang out if you just want to grab a few drinks at the bar. The free WiFi is another great element of this food establishment. It has a good set-up for a group chill session; indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, Cheers Antigua can get a bit crowded on the inside; especially during cruise season. In addition to this, not much was done to add to the atmosphere of the area. They focused more on images advertising menu items. ** See Full Review On Instagram @gourmetdelion **

Very good food for what we had. Grilled shrimp and fish sandwich. Bit pricy{$$) but not bad for great location near cruise ship main strip.

No local beer here, not much for service or introduction of other spirits. I cant recall if Antigua has a local brew but nothing but a Spain beer here. Wont be trying the food either - the photos look ok? Only other beer choice was Banks. The local pharmacy had mire unique beer choices!

It’s a very good hangout spot. Great staff, great customer service, great food. What more could you ask for, chilling in open air space feeling the ocean breeze, having a beer or 2 meeting people. It’s my lyming spot. Never had a bad experience there. Thumbs up.

This is a nice spot near the cruise port to grab a drink or a light bite. Nice and breezy! Friendly staff and they offer wifi once you purchase. I would visit again.

17 USD for a rum punch and a beer. We didn't finish the rum punch and beer was horrible too. The beer was important from Spain (why?) And check out those ingredients - Colouring E150 and Stabiliser E405 - why no local beer?

Rip off I think the most expensive coffee I've ever had I should have asked for the price before hand but I didn't think they'd charge me for a premium coffee for such a low budget looking place and the people working there are rude. I guess a tourist trap.

As a crew member, Cheers has given me many amazing moments. The rum punch will make you happy and the fried fish will make you stay the whole day. Amazing service, great prices. Do not miss this place.

You should stay far away from this place, they made a big mistake robbing cruise ship crew, and just lost a lot of potential clients. The prices are ridiculous, they make up their own exchange rates, very far from what it actually is. Rather go further in town and find another place to enjoy food and drinks.

We stop at Cheers Bar whenever we are in Antigua. We enjoy delicious food and wonderful service in a relaxed island atmosphere. We look forward to future visits! (The water is less expensive than on the ship!)

$10 US for a beer and a coffee? First place in the Carribean that I have felt that badly ripped off. Every bar and restaurant on the island would be a better choice.

I have been coming to Antigua for 34 years. I read all the reviews. I want to first say that Cheers Antigua is the absolute best place to sit have a drink and enjoy Wonderful food! The music is always playing and the owner and staff are attentive and accommodating. People sometimes complain about WiFi, let me tell you, this is not America, wifi doesn't always work quickly in the Caribbean. Cheers Antigua, offers the Best package. Sitting outside in the sun or shade, the breeze is wonderful of the water, looking at the amazing ships in port surrounded by culture and the Best shopping experience on the island. Cheers to Cheers Antigua, my go to place!
