I really like the setup of this restaurant. The vibe was nice and the different types of seating areas were nice as well. We had dinner here and chose to sit on the beach in the sand. It was also sunset so it was a lovely view. While we waited for dinner we played on the beach and had a blast with our kids. Dinner was good but it wasn’t great. I don’t think the quality of the food matched the price but I wanted to come and see for myself after reading the reviews. They messed up my order but I chose not to make a big deal about it. Our waitress Alicksia was THE BEST and the rum punch was amazing. It’s probably the best rum punch I have ever had. Overall we had a great time here, a few minor complaints, but still good times.

Rib is quite nice. Lobster salad is so so, was trying to figure out what makes it taste bitter and I believe it’s the cucumber. Portion isn’t big for the price, I had a much better lobster meal in the other restaurant. Steak is pretty bad, feels like it’s been defrosted and it’s not fresh. Music is great, environment is comfortable. Service is not very well as we waited 45 mins for food while it’s only 2 small groups of people came before us. I came here because it’s a pretty old and well known restaurant but I don’t think I will come back. Not recommended.

A great little hidden, quiet spot, with a good locally sourced menu of traditional Caribbean food. Was worth a little trip, combined with a beautifully picturesque beach. Friendly wait staff, reasonably priced and everything was great. Fruit punch was nice too. Lots of different seating for different sized groups from couples to large families. A small downside was once the food came out, flies appeared - but this is alfresco dining after all so it didn’t taint our experience. There’s a TV too - CNN was on while we were there. There’s an upstairs deck as well as tables with plenty of shade.

The vibes at this restaurant is nice. If you want to feel like you are having a meal on the beach there is a sandy area to sit. Service was top notch and food tasted slating the jar plum juice was amazing.

Went here last Sunday for a group dinner. The view of the ocean is superb. The buffalo wings were hot and flavorful and I devoured the beef ribs like a prehistoric man. Service was friendly and on time. The view of the sunset is great.

Great location on the beach with amazing views, very friendly staff and a huge choice for food and drinks. I totally recommend this place and I will go back with pleasure.

Food was great. I was Lucky to get there when not too many people were eating eating out and I have to say, I really enjoyed my food. I got the ribs and my wife had the pasta and we were both happy. Even my 2 1/2 year old who's a very picky eater seemed to love her chicken sandwich to the point where I didn't get a chance to taste it because she finished it so fast. We had plans on swimming in the beach right next to the restaurant but those plans were canceled after we started eating. Beautiful beachfront restaurant!

Avoid. We ordered Red snapper and chips and sea food pasta. The red snapper was obviously old and the oven chips weren't good. The sea food pasta was poor. The lady on the next table left 3/4 of hers too. The waitress Danesha - is a bright person and understood. But she had to charge us the full charge because no one was present to offer any discount. We decided to leave and eat somewhere else. This is a brilliantly positioned restaurant who cynically offer very poor food to sucker tourists who pay. (As we did)

Thematic decor with decent food and drinks but the service is painfully slow and the flies swarm around the table. We had to give and repeat our order several times. Paying took forever. It was not relaxing at all.

This was our very first meal during vacation in Antigua. Upon arrival for dinner we asked to sit close to the water but were told that section was closed. There was another family eating on that side already but we just said ok and sat to the right. Our waitress wasn’t really upbeat or welcoming. She didn’t smile or check on us often. After ordering our food we saw another couple come in and get sat to the left (water side) and then another couple. Thankfully the food was good. It did take a while to come out but we quickly learned that’s normal for almost every restaurant we visited. I got a chicken sandwich and my bf got a burger. The chicken was delicious, a large portion and very juicy. Fries weren’t cooked enough, hot but could have been crispier. Towards the end of the meal another lady (manager?) did come to check on us. She was very nice and upbeat. Overall, the food is really good. Service is a hit or miss.

We had a stunning view of the sunset over the ocean while enjoying a dinner of fresh grilled lobster and red snapper. The service was very friendly and fun to talk to. Cocktails were 👍🏽👍🏽. And has enough food for leftovers to go.

Staff were sweet and friendly. Food was delicious and ample. Drinks were cold. Music was classic soft rock 🫡 Location is absolutely stunning, gorgeous, clean blue water beach. Has parking if the place isn't too busy (we got there around 11am, was just us for about 30 mins then quickly got busy).

I'm from Charlotte, NC USA. This food was great! It is an open air restaurant right on the beach. I am not a big chower eater, but this is the BEST I've ever had. It was chunky with meat too. They are not stingy. I had the whole Snapper. It was delicious. I highly recommend eating here if visiting. I believe that it's even worth the trip if you stay on a resort.

Great bar. Seafood chowder is basically some kind of magic, nothing should taste so good. The view is amazing and the aged rum punch is an essential item... You haven't been to Antigua until you have had that punch, or the chowder, or the pan fried snapper.. OK basically anything on the menu...

Two of us came for dinner on a Thursday night late in February, at about 7 p.m. It was very quiet, and we had speedy and friendly attention from two very nice waitresses who provided large red snapper with a mountain of chips, cocktails and - new to me - soursop ice cream, my new favourite as proved by the photo. Everything was great.

Great place right on the beach. It wasn’t crowded when we went so didn’t have to wait and was seated beach side with sand on my toes. That made me very happy. The mango margarita is a must try. Food was delicious I ate that snapper like it was my last meal. Whether your looking for a romantic meal or a group friends and family this place in Antigua is it! Darkwood beach is beautiful. See you again soon Antigua!

Everything was amazing! The view at sunset was perfect. Staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. We had the seafood chowder to start which was perfect. The daily menu salmon & king fish were incredible and I highly recommend the mango daiquiri!

This was our first night in Antigua and wanted to have dinner right on the beach. OJ's delivered and then some! The grilled red snapper was probably the best fish my wife and I have ever had. The drinks were delicious, the staff impeccable. The live band was very entertaining as well. We highly recommend checking this amazing bar and restaurant out!

👍👍 One of the most nicest beaches on this coast! We ordered Curry Coch and Catch of the Day (snapper). Delicious!!! Really enjoyed our day here! Also, kudos to the artist who made the tables. Very original.

😠 Avoid at all costs. Awful owner. They charged $39 to sit on one of their deck chairs on the beach right in front of the bar/restaurant even as a paying customer. The owner announced that it was cash only at point of paying which we were not made aware of when ordering our drinks. He said that he is...
