Woaaaah if you’re looking for the BEST food in Antigua I have found it! Saved this towards the end of my trip probably my biggest regret or I would have ate here TWICE! Everything I ordered was insanely delicious, fantastic service, sweetest staff on the island, tasty drinks/dessert, did I mention GORGEOUS artwork surrounds this sweet homey local island gem!!!!! Order the boulibase, snapper, and coconut ice cream! If I’m back in Antigua I’m coming for more, this was my favorite place on the island

Awesome ambience, attentive servers, decent food. I've ALWAYS wanted to try this place for the past 20 years and this was my first time. I'll definitely be back.

We headed to Papa Zouk on our recent visit to Antigua. A little gem in St John’s , wonderful, fresh seafood, excellent vibe and great rum punches. We met the charming owner, Fay, who told us the story of the restaurant’s history. A must visit if you are visiting the island, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic food, I would say the best one that we had in the island. We have been trying to get some nice fish all over around but impossible, thanks God we found this place! The owner is very friendly and chatty, we felt really comfortable! The prices are quite expensive actually… but it was worth it!

We loved Papa Zouk!! The employees are all delightful and so accommodating! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is charming. It's situated in a place you wouldn't expect but there's usually plenty of parking. Reservations are recommended as they are generally very busy and have short/late business hours. I had house mix and hubby had grill mix. It was all so perfect! It was well priced for such an amazing meal! I definitely recommend Papa Zouk.

Small little eateries with some nice decor . The owner himself greets you and take your order . Basically pitching his food to you and could be very passionate about his menu. We had the medium snapper and it’s the best on the menu . We tried the conch fritters which was decent and other dishes also. The rum punch was pretty good and likewise with the services.

It's extremely rare for this foodie to rate anything 5 stars. This place is awesome. The atmosphere is perfect. Maybe my favorite ever. It's not fancy but laid back and really cool. The service was some of the best I've had. Now FOOD! If you like great fresh fish and the best Lobster on the island this is it! GET THE WHOLE PAN FRIED SNAPPER OR LOBSTER and you will be in heaven. Don't forget the conch fritters. 6 of us were here for a week and are here twice! It was all 6 of yours favorite restaurant!

We always love it here. Fresh delicious fish ... But start out with the house Ti Rum Punch. It's a rum bar, folks! Boulliabaise is a have-to-have! Oh, and enjoy Bert's artwork.

Must experience, very unique, owner is hands-on will sit with you to explain his food and will take your order himself. Decor is unique as he is the artist as well.

A fabulous place to hang out. Attracts a mixture of locals and tourists. The owner has plenty of character and sits personally with you to discuss the menu and catch of the day. Food is fresh full of flavour. Rum punch is serious! So take it slow. Staff are friendly. The vibe is great just sorry we only managed to get there once during our stay.

Food was 8/10, but the guy who runs the place is a piece of work - very impatient, pushy, mean, arrogant man. He puts on the same playful performance for every table while he’s pitching the sales, then any other time your presence is an inconvenience to him. He does not value relationships w people, just wants your money. The rest of the place is really quite nice, but the rude manager truly disenchants the whole experience.

Absolute no brainier to visit. One. Rum collection mind boggling. Two. Food was perfect. Fresh fresh fresh and perfectly cooked. Home style but you’d never manage to cook like that at home with fries fish. Unless a seasoned fish cook. So much fun. Small shack style bolt hole that could fill 5 times the tables but would loose it’s charm if it did. Without question a must visit. And save some stomach space. Try and meet the owner. He’s a legend.

It was my first time at this restaurant and I had a great experience. The food and service was really great. It has a beautiful atmosphere there as well. I'd recommend not wearing heels as the floor in the restaurant is textured.

Nice little Island eateries. Food was nice although no Salt fish. Service was friendly. We had the Medium snapper, Mixed grilled 3 fish options and had the rum punch which tasted great.Would recommend.

When I discovered this restaurant I was really happy and lucky, I haven’t had a reservation but still they found me a solo table to enjoy a very good meal, excellent service and very friendly people

"Love in a Glass" that is what I renamed Burt's delicious rumpunch. Tonight was another great night out and I would highly recommend. The "menu card" is shared by Burt based on the fresh fish caught from the day, he treats all his guests with equal attention & enthusiasm in sharing the menu. On this busy night we were so happy to have secured reservations. Cheers to the team for the warmth and atmosphere created! Oh I must add it was great trying a new meal, the Bouillabaisse. It was very tasteful.

Simple Caribbean fare, well executed. The owner comes to your to describe the menu and recommended options. Zook and Compas music playing. A very unique experience.

Great atmosphere and food! We didn’t know that you need a reservation (which we recommend) but the hostess asked a large group if they’d squeeze us in at their large table. So kind! The owner comes to the table to explain the menu and take your order. Watch out for the rum punch…whew it catches up to you. The snapper was delicious. Felt like a local hangout. We definitely want to return.

If you like fish and seafood you *have* to visit Papa Zouk's! You will need to book a table in advance though (via Facebook) It's a busy little place but we had a quick, warm welcome, the service was excellent and the food was perfection. One of the most awesome rum collections I've ever seen, some obscure ones up there amongst the more well known brands. The prices are a little higher than some other restaurants nearby but definitely well worth it for the quality and flavours!

Warm welcome by staff. The basket of bread that they gave the table was AMAZING 👏🏾. The menu isn't big, it's a seafood menu. I had a "house special rum punch" it was great. The house mix platter was not bad, my only problem my fish was way to small. Otherwise the food was an 8/10. A lil more food on that platter would have been perfect.

This was my second visit and it was consistently good! The staff was pleasant and very helpful. No complaints. The food was delicious!!!! I particularly enjoyed my fried snapper!!!! I couldn't have desired better. Regarding the atmosphere, it was such a nice laid back vibe. The icing on top was the zouk music playing in the background. My only complaint was the size of the restaurant. I'm not fond of small dining spaces, but that's my hang up. It's not going to prevent me from returning! It's also good to see that now payments can be done using a card. Previously, you could only pay with cash. If you've never tried Papa Zouk, please do. It's worth it!

Recently visited this wonderful establishment! I was impressed by the soulful, albeit simple atmosphere, beautiful and not pretentious decorations. When it came to ordering, the chef himself came up to us, had a nice chat with us, advertised each dish, emphasizing the tastiest ones. And it was Divine! The tastiest and most tender lobster…seafood soup and nopoi. The best recommendations!
