Since we came during a week day, technically, we were the only ones there. I do not recommend buying the tickets in advance, but it is always a good idea just to be safe, and that's just with everything. The views of this place were breathtaking and all the history, too. I always find amazing structures built years ago last more than the ones built nowadays. It's definitely worth the trip. The views leading here were very beautiful. Lots of green and fresh air unless you encounter road kill 🤢

Historic site where gun batteries, sentries and soldiers quarters once helped protect English Harbor and the Nelson Dockyards. The views are amazing. Souvenirs are available.

Beautiful historical site, well manicured, and clean. This is a nice and relaxing sightseeing destination and part of Antiguas national park system. They also have restrooms which is extremely convenient! Right around the corner, you also have Shirley Estates which has a bar and restaurant. I came with the family and we did some walking down the hill off of the mountain.

This is a nice lookout spot that used to be a small British fort first built in 1789. On one side there’s a standing structure that you can walk in and take pictures of and on the other side there’s a trail. You can watch the sunset or join the weekly Rum in the Ruins.

This is a beautiful location and lots of history if that interests you. We came as part of a larger tour and our group was the only one here. We spent roughly 15 minutes here, but I could have stayed much longer just to take it all in.

Fantastic views, we could see Eric Claptons house right on the end!

The view from this historical site is beautiful! You have a viewpoint of the island and the ocean, waves crashing down below. There is also an abandoned building that you can go into, to get an idea of what the prisoners in the Blockhouse could see through the slits of windows they had. There isn't much else to see or do at this spot, other than enjoy the wind and see the view!

It was treated mainly as a potty stop on the tour but a historical part of the National Park. Gorgeous views but not a lot of details about the history. It looks like a sign with that info has long since disappeared. The panoramic views more than make up for it! Take time to walk away from the crowds and check out the outlook to the right.
