The
resort
is
beautiful
but
unless
you
hire
a
car
or
get
a
taxi
to
places,
you
are
locked
in
as
you
can’t
walk
out
to
anywhere
as
it
is
at
the
bottom
of
the
valley.
The
roads
are
atrocious,
so
you
have
to
be
extremely
careful
when
driving.
There
are
also
areas
of
extreme
poverty
visible.
Pity
the
tourism
profits
don’t
benefit
the
infrastructure
for
the
residents.
Also
eating
out
is
extremely
expensive.
Also
expensive
in
the
hotel
if
you’re
not
all
inclusive,
which
we
weren’t.
Average
£90
a
meal.
That’s
two
courses,
2
glasses
of
wine.
The
beaches
are
beautiful
but
the
sea
is
a
bit
devoid
of
fish
and
some
of
the
coral
is
either
bleached
or
damaged
by
hurricanes.
Enjoyed
our
stay
but
we
wouldn’t
return.
On
the
plus
side.
During
all
the
snorkelling
we
did
on
various
parts
of
the
coastline,
we
never
saw
any
plastic
in
the
water.
Great
contrast
to
how
much
we
saw
in
the
Mediterranean,
pre
pandemic.
