The villas are beautiful! They have 1 bedroom suites and villas that have 5 bedrooms. There is an outdoor cooking area as well as outdoor seating. The Infinity pool is gorgeous and comfortable and there is a Boardwalk that leads you right to the beach. Antigua has some of the clearest water ever so you will be making that walk on the Boardwalk often. There are two Beaches in walking distance. There were some upgrade suggestions that we made before we exited for the airport. The staff seemed open and understanding to those suggestions.

Brilliant accommodation and awesome location combine to make this a stunning and lovely place to stay. The only reason why it’s four stars and not five is that, at the time of our stay (December 2021), many of the amenities were still under construction. However, the suite we had was utterly gorgeous, the staff were really helpful (especially Bancroft in guest relations), and the nearest beach (Ffrye’s) is one of the island’s best. Once it’s all finished it will be one of Antigua’s best resorts. Would definitely recommend

I rated this 2/5 stars which may be confusing. The rooms are incredible, the staff is so so nice, and the views are everything you see in photos. However there are some huge cons that really make me feel scammed. The restaurant they spend so much time advertising has not been open our entire stay. The pool has not been opened our entire stay. There are few restaurants near by, none of them within reasonable walking distance. I have yet to find a working atm on the island. I am here on honeymoon and we are using this as a time to just enjoy each others company and not focus on the details. We are having a good time thanks to helpful staff but this certainly is not what I paid for. I fully expect to get money back when talking to someone in charge of the resort. Which pains me to say because I feel the staff are hard working, good, and honest people. But the marketing team is doing too much!

Tamarind Hills is a beautiful property even while they finish construction. The views of Ffryes Beach from our suite and hot tub were incredible and the room was spacious and clean! The hospitality was warm and efficient too—we hope to come back. It’ll be even better once the restaurant is open to make things like breakfasts and lunch easier (there are great dinner options nearby).

The rooms are nice but everything else about the place is not. The service is TERRIBLE. Nobody was in a hurry to help you with anything and were very indifferent to your needs. We reserved transportation through the hotel and 3 different times the car didn't show up at all or showed up extremely late. The restaurant has a very limited menu and they are often out of a lot of things. We complained to the front desk 2 different times and asked the manger to reach out and no one ever called us to follow up. Given the price, we should have had a much better experience. I would not recommend this place to friends/family.

I just found out that the review I left on hotels.com for Tamarind Hills was never actually posted. Apparently, the reviews left on the platform go to the hotel itself so I can only guess what happened here. This probably explains the high star rating this place has on hotels.com specifically. I tried to be as candid and as detailed as possible in my review, but since it never made it publicly I'll summarise it here: this place lacks professionalism and is too pricey for what it is. Expect to self organise and coordinate any activities you want and don't expect anyone being helpful or fulfilling any requests you might have.

Wow! Incredibile location. You basically have a a semi private beach right there, with Dennis's restaurant right there in the corner. The suites with the jacuzzi are so cool. The view from there is stunning. Great service and attention to detail! The area however is under construction, as the pool, bar and restaurant are still not ready. Nevertheless we didn't miss anything much really.

I loved my stay at Tamarind Hills. I decided at the last minute to do a solo trip and decided to stay at Tamarind Hills. The resort is beautiful. I stayed in a studio with a jacuzzi. I had an incredible view from my room. Warning - depending on where you room is, you will have to go up A LOT of stairs or very steep hills. I didn’t mind this too much but must admit after climbing Boggy Peak, walking to my room was a struggle. The staff at the resort are incredible (Nafuna, Tonya, Bancroft, & Gavisha made my stay)! They were very accommodating and helpful. They always checked in to make sure I was enjoying my time and had everything I needed. As far as restaurants go, the clubhouse was closed but Wild Tamarind was open. They have a great wine selection and creative cocktails. I had dinner at Wild Tamarind the first night and did not love the food. I got the risotto of the day and the rice was not cooked. After a morning on the beach, I tried their poke bowls for lunch and the seafood was fresh but the bowl was mostly rice and avocado. The food at Wild Tamarind is also really over priced. I also feel like having the restaurants onsite is an opportunity to showcase a few local dishes and the menu seems to be either poke bowls for lunch or a very euro-centric dinner menu. Overall the resort and Ffryes beach are amazing and I’ve already talked to a few friends and family members about going to Antigua and staying in one of the larger villas.

Our family has stayed at Tamarind 3 times since they have opened and will be returning for the thanksgiving holiday in 2 weeks. Whether you are in a smaller or larger unit - the views are breathtaking. Friendly helpful staff. Safe gated property. Always rent a car. Restaurants nearby. Definitely a family favorite. Can’t wait to be back!

We recently travelled to Antigua and stayed in an AirBNB in Jolly Harbour. We initially discovered Wild Tamarind and the resort as a destination for dinner, which turned into a couple of days spent enjoying the amenities, without being overnight guests. We really enjoyed our first dinner. Our server, Davencia, was great. We found the service to be much better than most other restaurants we experienced. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. After completing our meal, Christopher, who is in a managerial position, introduced himself to us and gave us a small tour of the property. He recommend we come back and enjoy their facilities for the day, which we took advantage of twice! We really enjoyed the use of the pool, fresh towels, access to breakfast and lunch and cold drinks - all for a very reasonable price. Thank you to all at the Tamarind Hills property for welcoming us and treating us like family!

We enjoyed the new kingfish one bedroom suite with it's spectacular view of Ffryes beach and beyond! We had great views of sunset from our deck as we relaxed in our hot tub. We are excited to come back when the pool, bar and restaurant are completed on site.

Literally the best address on the island. Well-maintained resort, friendly staff. The new builds are really amazing. And ffryes beach directly at your footstep, one of my favorite beaches on the whole island

We were in a difficult situation and needed accommodation that same day. Nafuna went out of her way to find the perfect solution for us - two rooms, one terrace - very quiet for our son who was not well. Exquisite views of an unspoiled (Fryes) beach and the hills of Western Antigua. Tamarind is in the perfect location. Fryes Beach was our favourite in the area - away from the road, no crowds, the odd beach shack. There is a good supermarket 5 minutes away. Our rooms were fantastic - very comfortable bed; great bathrooms (lovely bath); useful kitchen. A/C very effective; own terrace with sunbeds and sofas and jacuzzi and that view. But what we will always remember is the people. All the staff at Tamarind went the extra mile for us and were so caring of our son. Adriano and Bancroft were super helpful. Gavisha and Whitney were wonderful and caring. Linda is the best house keeper in the world. We did not get everyone's names but every single member of staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. It is useful to have a car; there is lots to explore locally and fun to try out local restaurants but the new French chef and his wonderful team kept drawing us back to Wild Tamarind Restaurant. It was the best food we had locally, reasonable value, particularly the excellent wine list. The cooks regularly came out to chat about the food and were always flexible. The lady who cooked us breakfast nailed it every time. Thank you to all the team for making the holiday. We will be back!

We reserved via #IsleBlue no issues at all w/ them. Low rating b/c there were 7 issues could have been handled differently. Esp. 4 the price of the villa. We stayed n #OceanBlessed -03 rm. a 2 bed, 2 & 1/2 ba -half is outside on the walk-up porch. it looked clean upon walking in. Staff helped with luggage to rm. 1st issue: front door didn’t stay closed, unless u locked it. Looked up and saw door not aligned 2 door frame. As we arrived n the evening we looked 4ward 2 eating. The resort does have 1 restaurant on site, so we ordered a meal 2 be delivered 4 our 1st evening supper. This restaurant we were advised ltr by other vacationers was newly built. The menu offered mostly fried foods & not a lrg variety. We ordered a chicken burger, mini pizza & fries. This night the chicken burger came grilled which was tasty, the mini pizza served the purpose, & the fries were a great balance amt of salt & crispiness. While not an issue for the Tamarind Hills property, but just a note 4 vacationers who do not rent/hire a car while on the island. The price of a taxi is quite expensive. We took a taxi 2 the nearest grocery store & roundtrip was $30US. The next day after having had called the front desk 2 ask someone 2 pick up the plates from the prior day’s meal, on our return back we asked the front desk again. This was nearly 20 hrs after the call for pick up. We noticed while cooking n kitchen, there was a leak from the vent above, apparently from the master ba shower room. We called, & someone came about 1 hr later. Spouse suggested the vent n shower needed caulking. Maintenance left but didn't rtrn, although he said he would come back. We decided not 2 use the shower that night. 2nd ba shower. 2 begin, the ba had a window, but the window only had a screen, & 1 that can't b closed 2 allow the room 2 receive aircon from the rest of the house. Again, this was a concern 4 wasted resources as we kept the air on during certain times of the day to bring the temp down. But if we left the ba door open the room wouldn’t have cooled & or the cool air and “money” was going out of the window. Due 2 the leak in the kitchen from the master shower, we took a shower in the 2nd ba but found it only had extremely hot or extremely cold H2O. We had 2 continuously rotate back & forth as we took a shower 2 try 2 turn bk 2 the other temp b4 it got 2 hot or cold. This issue was noted 2 staff. But was not been corrected. re: the leak, went 2 beach nxt day, advised staff again. Staff came. They fixed something & said will rtn. left water running in the shower. Again, wasted resources. we came back 2 hrs. not sure how long the water was running, but they didn't rtn 2 check. Luckily, the leak was fixed! While taking our daily early am and evening dip in the plunge pool we noticed there were several blind cords that were missing or broken. It was almost 1cord for every 2-3 windows. Not life threatening, but an inconvenience I didn’t expect. Another item of unexpected unfulfilled maintenance was the lounge chairs on the patio were uneven due to rust wear & tear. I do understand the salt water will rust things as but a well maintained property should consider these things for the luxury it is presenting. We also noticed rust on the grills and both the washing & drying machines. Other maintenance & just general housekeeping items were multiple and many spider webs in the bathroom that was outside on the deck. While I appreciate having a toilet on the ground floor near the plunge pool, to not have to walk wet upstairs, I didn’t like the number of spider webs that were clearly visible on the toilet and sink ALL week after 3 days of cleaning while we were there.

The location is fabulous. The beaches are gorgeous. The villa was clean and chic. The food is awful! I got sick twice eating there and went home with food poisoning. If it wasn't for the terrible restaurant which was very overpriced it would have been wonderful.

Amazing property with incredible views over the bay. The position gets sunlight from sunrise to setting over the bay. Staff are all super friendly, especially the lady on the entrance gate. The bay was perfect for swimming so much that we never used the swimming pool. The restaurant lets down the property so I’d avoid that for dinner but cocktails etc are good for daytime. They have a different menu at lunch which we didn’t try so it might be ok. Would 100% return!

What can I say except that it was amazing. My wife and I truly enjoyed our time here. Nafuna, Bancroft, and Adrian were all super helpful and accommodating to our requests. The rooms were very clean and it's a beautiful environment. The hill is definitely a challenge if you have trouble walking, but it is worth the view! We hope to return in the future with our kids, and see the continued improvements they make to the grounds and so on. The restaurant, Wild Tamarind, is also really good, and a great place to sit and watch the sunset, or have a drink. If I could nitpick at all, I would say really minor things (very minor), such as wishing the included robes/flip-flops were a bit nicer quality, and that the lights in the jacuzzi didn't always work correctly. The shower also didn't drain very well, but again these were very minor details. The room was otherwise super clean and well kept, etc. Make sure you bring bug spray for dusk, as the mosquitos can be pretty annoying, but only for around an hour (if that) or so at sunset. After that and during the day, they go away. Great, great, great place, and we can't thank them enough for making us feel special on our vacation.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Tamarind Hills and our stay there last week! If you are contemplating booking, I suggest you do it right now! From all of Nafuna's help before the trip, the incredibly warm welcome from Adriano upon arrival, BANCROFT who went above and beyond our entire stay (he was incredible from the second we arrived to the minute we left and we were so grateful for him!) and the absolutely BEAUTIFUL resort (rooms, views, stunning beach,) this was such a special trip. We were worried when we saw reviews about construction but it's almost done and didn't bother us at all. The new restaurant is delicious and such a nice addition. After touring around the full island, I truly believe Ffryes beach is the prettiest and quietest we saw. The rooms are spacious, decorated with attention to so much detail, and we almost extended our trip just to enjoy Tamarind Hills for a couple more days. Thank you to the entire staff for the most magical stay. We will be back SOON!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our stay at the beautiful Tamarind Hill Hotel Resort. The photos truly don't capture the full beauty of this place; it's like stepping into a picture-perfect paradise. What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and accommodating staff. Special thanks to Adriano and Gavisha for going above and beyond to make us feel at home. My wife and I are Orthodox Jews with dietary restrictions, and the hotel staff made it incredibly easy for us by accommodating our specific food requirements. Their attentiveness and willingness to cater to our needs made our stay truly memorable. Thank you so much, Adriano, Gavisha, and the entire team – we had an unforgettable time!
