Someone recommended this place, and we decided to try it. Honestly, I was not impressed 😒 by the food. The views, the service and the atmosphere were great but the food was just ok. The local clams were full of sand. I get the point of freshness but rinse the sand off. The one that didn't have all the sand and I was able to taste was sweet.

Tuna tartare was delicious. Steak sandwich was good too. I love the vibe here. Came to spend a day on the beach and eat lunch. Definitely recommend

Some of the best service experienced in a two week stay in the Caribbean. Was told by locals this has changed management a little while ago, but it appears the quality is unchanged. This is on the more expensive side of dining in Antigua, but absolutely worth it. You can also take one of the beach side tables/lounging spaces and get drinks. Firstly - the mocktails were probably the highlight. Food was amazing too - but the mocktail recipes of smoothies, and crushes and fresh mixed juices was like something I’ve never seen. Don’t miss out on Coconut crush and avo-colada. If we’d had more time I would have returned here for a second visit, there was more on both the food menu and drinks. The view overlooking Pigeon Point Beach was a delight, a nice breeze, plenty of ceiling fans, spotlessly clean. Only seemed like it had two toilet cubicles for quite a large place, but it wasn’t an issue while we were there.

Food was really good however the service was really slow. Had the lobster which was great. However the waitress never came back by our table to see how things were or to take a second drink order. So basically we finished our entire meal drinking the bottle of water on the table. Note to the owner: the highest margins on alcohol when people are on vacation and taking a taxi everywhere, our bill would have been double!

Beautiful and relaxing environment. The food was well of above my expectations. The kitchen killed it. The staff is super friendly and provide quality service. Come with swimwear and enjoy the beach. The drinks are a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend visiting here. Don't hold back because of price, you get an amazing experience... it's worth it.

You can't come to English Harbour without experiencing Catherine's Cafe...preferably on a Saturday lunchtime when they have live music...arrive early, enjoy a beach-side cocktail and enjoy a long lunch followed by dancing on the beach...delicious food, amazing atmosphere and people-watching! We've been coming here since 2015 and it never disappoints...

Fantastic restaurant, super friendly and efficient in every way. Food was some of the best we'd had in our 9 days here. Its a bit more expensive than most other local restaurants but it was worth it. Great place to go to whether a romantic meal for two or a big family get together. Comfortable seats, not crammed in. Attached seated sand garden with plenty of seating. Parking available for those that drive. Also if you have a boat you can just pull up and get out. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

Nice restaurant right on the beach. Great cocktails, wine and champagne selection. The menu is good. Service is fine too. The food has lost a little bit of freshness and quality from what I remember 4 years ago. Still an excellent place to have a nice dinner with friends or family

We had lunch today and I think it is a great selection of food. Though I'd like to see a little less salt in all the dishes. Overall great location and tasteful decor as well. Staff were very nice.

Top tier restaurant. This restaurant is actually one of the best I’ve been to. When I say the service is AMAZING , I mean AMAZING. The server that assisted us knows the menu inside and out. Quite impressive. Drinks were lovely, music was amazing, nice vybe in the night and it was very special. The restaurant is however on the pricey side and it not really in a central location. I really did enjoy my time.

Catherines Cafe is one of Antigua’s best places to hang out, eat and enjoy the sunset. The staff is absolutely fantastic from the beginning to the end. The menu is delicious, you really can’t go wrong with any selection. Take your time and look around, truly paradise.

Very good restaurant at pigeon beach, with a great place and sea view. The menu, although a but expensive, is very good and the decent portion of lobster will ravish most The service is very long, but it seems that it's the Caribbean style.

Such a beautiful place, but what a shambles. Walked in from beach and waited 15 minutes being ignored by staff. Finally seated and had to ask 3 times to get a menu. Food served within 5 minutes, and lobster was rubbery and tasteless, and only got drinks after food was finished and asking three separate waiters. All staff seemed grumpy, which is really unusual for Antigua. Credit card machine was broken, so was asked to write down my details which hardly seems safe, and staff called me (rather than WA me) later to confirm, incurring a £4 roaming charge to my phone. Other that it being a beautiful location, I have nothing positive to say about this place.
