Whoever decided to paint this should be punched in the face! Where in the world have you ever seen a painted monument. Great sculpture...please remove the hideous paint and restore it to what it was originally. The painting looks tacky and uncultured. Someone needs to have a look around the whole area, come up with a better plan for the layout of the area and execute please.

Spot on the middle of the town but we couldn't figure out how to get any closer. Interesting monument though!

This is the center of the city. Recommend to bring cash from your home country. Otherwise, you spend time looking for an ATM. We could not withdraw from the AM and had to go to their central bank, wait in a long line and use my debit card to get the money from our bank. Rather then that it was worse a stroll, park the car on the paid parking and you are free to go.

The area is very busy in the afternoon. The sidewalks are narrow and often broken but the atmosphere is very friendly. Plenty of shops selling electronics and food stalls. Definitely worth a visit.

Father of the nation of Antigua and Barbuda. What more to say? It's on open display.

On Saturdays and Sundays you can go out in the afternoon and get some conch soup from the Fish Man himself (Low Rider). It's pretty good, and always a fun time handing out with the street music filling the air.

Near a public market place in Antigua. Grocery, clothing, utensils, electric, meat shops. Lot of street vendors. Saturday early morning vegetable produce market around the streets. Economically priced local vendor shops. Parking by the street is limited. Parking violations are ticketed. Near the cruise shipping terminal, duty free shops etc. are close by, in walking distance. Very busy place on Saturday market day.
