Staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Ellis is awesome. Love his light sense of humor, yet he is serious when addressing questions that I ask or issues that arise.

I'm honestly surprised Dr Ellis has so many great reviews and these reviews are why I originally chose him. I want to start by saying he is a friendly, smiley type person. He was always polite. My issue was that I am high risk and he was just too nonchalant about it all. I could tell he never fully read my chart before each visit and tried to wing it. He never followed up with anything the maternal fetal specialist sent to him.. blood work, due date change, etc. I had to stay on top of things by myself. I complained of a few problematic symptoms I was having and got ignored. I've seen my new OB once and she got the problem solved asap. I finally feel heard and like my new Dr cares about me and my unborn child. Also I was kinda weirded out by him calling me kiddo during exams being that I'm a 30 year old woman. All in all he might be decent for normal pregnancies but I don't recommend him if you have a high risk pregnancy.

Dr. Ellis is the best! They asked if I wanted someone to pray with me before surgery, after receiving my confirmation Dr. Ellis came in and took my hand and prayed for me and the outcome of my surgery. I feel so blessed to have a doctor who truly cares. It made me feel very special and loved.

I’ve only had 1 appointment so far with Dr.Ellis but when I say I LOVE this man and his nurse Nikki, I mean it. I was so scared because this is my first pregnancy and I want to make sure I’m doing everything right and being cared for properly. When I read some of the reviews of OBGYN’s that were more local to me I was horrified. We were more than willing to make the hour drive to see Dr.Ellis. Him and his nurse made us feel so at ease and comfortable. He is incredibly gentle and knows exactly what to say/do to calm the nerves. I would happily recommend him and his team to any first time parents out there and I cannot wait to see them at my next appointment and have them on my side throughout our baby journey.

I love Dr Ellis and his nurses, but the reception staff could really be better. Arguing with me about the type of birth control I want to take and my needs as a patient. I wasn’t aware I would be told by the receptionist that I NEED to have my period every month because that’s normal. Completely out of line. Even during my pregnancy they constantly lost paperwork and would argue I didn’t send it in etc. This may be my last straw with them unfortunately.

I informed Dr. Ellis that this was my first time having a male doctor. He made me feel comfortable, relaxed and even got me to laugh during my ultrasound and created a pleasant environment for my husband and I and answered all of our questions. Very kind, respectful and informative!

Dr Ellis and Nurse were absolutely fabulous. I felt 100% at ease and comfortable. Very attentive to my concerns and at first I was very nervous due to bad past exams with other doctors. Dr Ellis took all that worry and discomfort away.

I made my first prenatal appointment at the Michigan location not expecting to continue going there. Everyone was professional and kind, but then I ended up continuing my care and it was one of the best decisions of my life… not only do they provide exceptional care, but also protection and go above and beyond to make sure you’re safe and connect you with amazing social worker(s) to ensure your success throughout the pregnancy experience. For a woman, that can be a very emotional journey to say the least. They really care about you as a person not just a patient, I always felt thankful and hopeful after every appointment no matter what the circumstances outside of the office. Informative and preventative and outstanding medical care. Care plans are discussed and carried out meticulously. The secretaries, nurses & especially Dr. Ellis made my first pregnancy a beautiful experience and I couldn’t thank them enough. I would recommend this office a million times over. Thank you all so very much, thank you, thank you 🙏🏽 this feedback doesn’t even feel close to how appreciative I am I can’t express enough.

I love Dr. Ellis! This is my second time inflicting him with my difficult and airheaded self with all my complicated health issues, and he still manages to smile and joke around even though he's a very busy and tired man. Truly a Saint, and him and his staff saved the life of my baby last year during an emergency c-section. I hate to have to annoy him again, but I'm glad there's a doctor around here I can trust. Onlllllyy thing I ever had an issue with was his scheduler, today. She seemed very rude when I insisted that she schedule me an ultrasound for my high risk pregnancy because "there were other people in line" and handed me a business card. She made ME feel rude for kindly insisting I do it then and there so I could get earliest appointment I could. But Dr. Ellis himself as well as his nurses and aids are absolute gems of people. I highly recommend!

Dr. Ellis is absolutely amazing! This is my first time having him and you can tell he absolutely loves what he does and makes everyone feel so welcomed and comfortable! I’d recommend him 1000 times over and over!

I am carrying baby number 3 and Dr. Ellis and his staff have been with me through it all! I would never choose another provider! He is someone I recommend over and over. It does not matter how far you are he is worth the drive I promise!

Dr.Ellis is AMAZING! I was so blessed to have him for my procedure. When he said a prayer it meant a lot to me. I would most definitely recommend him. One of the most sweet, caring, and he had me feel like my health was his top priority. God Bless him and may he stay in practice for a long time.
