Charming patio, huge portions, and relatively affordable prices! The quality and authenticity of the food felt comparable to Taco Bell, and that’s not a bad thing. The food is far from authentic, but sometimes you just want some under-seasoned Minnesotan Tex Mex on a sunny summer day. The guac was missing cilantro, jalapeño, cumin, and sufficient citrus and salt. However, the avocado was clearly fresh and very delicious. It was more of an avocado mash than a guacamole. The rice and beans were fine. The smothered burrito also lacked flavor, but it was exactly what I expected from a Mexican restaurant in Minnesota.

Great food and service! My wife and I went there on a Monday night and the food was really good. I had the shrimp and chorizo rellenos and my wife had the classic enchilada bake. Had to take half of it home for leftovers it was so much. Decent prices for the amount of food we received.

It was a nice evening outside (except for the constant flies). Food was flavored exceptionally well. The nachoea are huge. The chicken crispy tostada were fantastic. Shame they don't have t-shirts and stickers of their new logo. Missed merchandising opportunity

First time in Stillwater MN and after a nice walk we decided to eat some. There's a many options for food in Stillwater but in my walk I saw just one Latino restaurant open, so we decided to support our community eating there... Well, I was surprised by this; it's the first Latino restaurant that I have been eating that didn't welcome you with a little basket of chips with it respective salsa, [no big deal honestly] but when we ask for a natural drinks or juice they don'thave any, but they have a variety cans and processes drinks that the waiter don't even offered to us as a choice. They have a variety alcohol drinks for those who love alcoholic drinks and water, so we drink water. Food taste good, but in general it's close to a Mexican cuisine, in my opinion the only real latino here is the name and the cookers who's I can reach to see them looks hispanics. Our waiter no even stopped at our table a single time just for courtesy to find out if everything was ok, even when she pass several time next to us. Customer service it's very disappointing.

Ordered take out online. Very friendly staff. Burritos were good but not extra special. Corn on the cob was really tasty, try it. This place is worth visiting.

This place is small but adorable! Service is friendly and staff appeared happy to be there. Now to the best part… the FOOD! My favorite thing on the menu are the tacos and make sure you get the fried flour shell! Tacos were huge I ordered 2 but was full after 1. My son ordered the chipotle steak sandwich which was also huge and very good for taste. I also ordered chips, salsa and guacamole for an appetizer, chips were dry and terrible, but salsa and guacamole delicious. You’d think for fresh mex food they’d have something better than generic bagged chips. Parking is nonexistent but there is plenty of public parking within a few blocks

Busy place! Unsure about parking but it's stillwater so park where you can find a place. Staff was easy to talk with and seems like a fun work environment. The food portions are huge! Of the things we ordered the chimichanga and the smother burrito were both same size and shareable unless you want left overs which BTW the reheated chimichanga was awwwesome! The fajita and the enchilada bake were a decent meal for a individual person. All were really tasty. Highly recommend! **Update as of 9/1/23 all prices have gone up by $1, so take that into account with the photos I uploaded 7months ago**

Generous portion sizes, strong drinks, and amazing atmosphere!!! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the breeze and fountain. Service is quick and accurate. Our food was INCREDIBLE!!! We were already planning what to come back for before we had even finished our meals! The chimichanga is the size of a newborn! 😳🤤

Very large portions. Very flavorful. Served well plated. Service was great. Good value. Clean Friendly staff. 1)Nachos, (got picture after we started eating, so about a 1/4 gobe) 2)Street tacos/chicken, 3 in an order, w/rice and beans. Definitely recommend.

We usually dine on the patio but chose to eat inside due to unsettled weather. We enjoyed the indoor seating and atmosphere equally. Extremely busy (6pm on a Friday) but the service was great, from the friendly hostess up front who got us seated quickly to our wonderful wait person. We enjoyed a very good appetizer then dinner. Food was great, and the portions were large. All this at an affordable price to boot.

I have been disappointed this evening. I have been wanting to try this place for years based on all the good reviews. The hostess was bland, the table was tiny for dinner, service was slow to arrive at our table - we were ready to order by the time she arrived. I ordered the fish tacos with the shrimp on the side (the server warned me that they were cold, and I appreciated that). Teen had the smothered burrito and tween had kids nachos. Both kids were very pleased with their meals, and the teen couldn't finish half of the huge burrito. However the fish tacos were sad. The corn tortillas were cold, no attempt to warm or toast them - just out of the package. The mahi mahi was mostly breading with barely an ounce of fish per taco. The shrimp "cocktail" on the side was kind of gross - like Buffalo sauce was used instead of something mexican flavored or even just cocktail sauce. The food came out fast, but I really wish it had taken just a few minutes more to make it worth the $20. The place wasn't busy either, so there's no excuse. I may try again and order something different because of the consistent good reviews, but it was quite disappointing tonight.

Small restaurant divided into two rooms connected by a walkway plus a patio. Colorful but very loud, sound traveled easily. I ordered the crispy enchilada stack and it was huge and looked great ($17). Unfortunately it was so salty as to be almost inedible, particularly the ground beef. I ended up scraping off the beef and partly eating the rest of the ingredients. My companion ordered the fajita's and said it was fairly good. Again, a huge portion although not cheap ($24). Not sure I would go back since I am assuming they would use the same ground beef mix in all of their dishes.

Very knowledgeable about gluten free needs - not many options but I enjoyed a steak taco salad that was fantastic. Their drinks are great too!

A patio, the best chips and salsa, and margaritas!!! What a combination in downtown Stillwater. The Guacamole is the best and their homemade chips are fantastic. Not to thin and not too hard and perfectly seasoned. If you like Margaritas, they have over a dozen variations. Great food and great atmosphere. Service is always stellar.

The crispy fried homemade tacos are awesome here! The staff was very fast effecient despite the crowds. The wings were well cooked inside and out but we weren't the biggest fan of the house. The margaritas looked tempting had we not been in dry January.

My wife got the fish taco. It had a lot of cilantro, but she enjoyed it anyway. The fish is nice and flaky. The shrimp are meaty. There's an interesting variety of flavors with beans, rice, tomato, and lime which all blend together well. The service was good, and friendly. The restrooms were clean. They were playing country music

Hard to find a spot to park around this place it's so popular, came here on a recommendation and I suggest you do too. The portions are worth the price and for the price you pay you get pretty decent food with more flavor than your local Mexican food place. Took my food to go so, I didn't really check the place out. The vibe was great and the hostess was super cute! I'll go back again

Nice place right in downtown Stillwater. The service was fast and the server had good recommendations. Decently priced for a lunch meal and no wait on a Sunday afternoon. My family liked the fried shell tacos, and my wings were good too. They are the full 3-part wing.

Margaritas are fabulous, and the whole menu is very very good. However my most frequent reason for going is the Mexican corn on the cob. I've tried to replicate the recipe at home, and I'm always missing something. Mine is pretty good but I cannot equal theirs. I'll post a picture of the corn cob, I was too anxious to take a picture of it before I ate it. Meal I had was street tacos with fish and shrimp, served on corn tortillas with rice and beans. Small note, I really like their beans, flavorful and not too soupy. The waitstaff is always friendly.
