Belt is one of Melbourne’s best cafes! The owners, Scott and Star make each customer feel truly welcomed and at home. Scott has a long history with coffee and takes the craft very seriously, weighing out each individual shot to ensure optimal extraction. Belt also has Wi-fi if you want to sit down and get some work done. The community here is second to none. I highly recommend you check them out 🥰

Definitely top level in Melbourne. Had a perfect coffee I never tried. Must try filter and black and white coffee. Can’t stop to order one more cup and then one more cup.

Popped in for a morning coffee on the way to work. Coffee was very delicious and well balanced. Not bitter at all! A very extensive menu with some specials, can't wait to try all the coffee options. Staff very friendly as well and happy to answer all the questions I had about the beans and menu.

From the moment you enter this place, you can feel a very nice vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. The people who work there show great passion and dedication for each of their clients. Truly, they are very warm people who in addition to providing the best coffee I have ever tasted, really support you to always keep going. Today they gave me a very nice bag! and I thought it would be nice to thank them publicly. Thank you Cafe Belt for always being a home for so many people, including me.

Absolutely beautiful and the smoothest coffee I have had in Melbourne! The frothing was so silky the coffee is extremely flavoursome yet so gentle. You have to try the Vegeta, their special on the menu. We were also recommended and privileged to try their SpecialTea Coffee. It is more than just drinking coffee, but an experience. The owner told us how to best drink the coffee and wow, we could feel the aroma diffusing around our head. It is definitely an experience. Scott and Star, the owners are also genuinely wonderful people, very passionate and truly care about delivering beautiful coffee and coffee knowledge to their customers. No gimmick or pretense. Only delivering exceptional coffee flavour and experience. I’m definitely coming as a regular and bringing my friends along the next time I pop by!

Can’t say enough good things about this cafe! Great, consistent coffee and baristas who are always friendly. The takeaway cups are 100% compostable and recyclable, which I really appreciate. Some special menu items: Special tea coffee & Vegeta were interesting. I’d definitely bring a friend over to try them again!

Star and Scott are two of the nicest cafe owners in the city. I follow a lot of international baristas, and I noticed that they were friends with Star and Scott. I had seen a few videos saying that the coffee was good and that they trained people to make coffee, etc. I've only been for a milky coffee so far, but they are really nice people, and their cafe is in a great location. The coffee is good and their cakes & bakes are always fresh. The Spanish Castello cake seems to be popular, so that's what I went for. It was soft, light, and fluffy. It's almost like a chiffon cake, but not as spongey. The coffee is from Reverence, and the house blend delivers a bold, punchy milky. You want to taste the coffee, right. They also serve pourover and batch brew. The cafe is a nice space to sit in the window and watch the world go by.

There are three famous cafes in Melbourne, and the more delicious and high-quality cafe is Cafe Belt coffee. It's a cafe that you must visit when you come to Melbourne. I don't usually write reviews, but I can't miss it, so I leave a review. It's close to City, so you can easily get there, and the castella is soft and really delicious, but the owner made it himself! I recommend you to eat it with flat white no matter what. I'll go again tomorrow ~

Really good drinks here! And the staff are super friendly and helpful. In order the Monks chai - made in Australia. It was a great blend, not too sweet, it had a spiciness to it, and they have a range of dairy and non dairy options. Great cafe! Note: it is a bit small so you may not get a spot depending on the time.

One of the best i’ve tried in a while. I passed this cafe a few times before but never really tried it until today. I absolutely loved their latte! Welcoming staff, great environment! All the coffee I’ve tried recently has declined in quality and taste, but Belt has maintain that Melbourne Coffee taste I missed! Their coffee definitely has made my day better.

A small little cafe located just outside the busy CBD streets. Super friendly store owner. Some high tables and a few low tables, decorated with instax photos. Lovely coffee. Be sure to try their double affogato and the cold brew.

I’ve been exploring a bunch of cafes in the city and this one really struck me. I happened to pass by it when walking and got curious about the great reviews it had. The friendly atmosphere of the baristas gave such a warm vibe to the cafe. You can see many regulars talking to them as if they were friends and you get served with a big, warm smile. Coffee was excellent too and can’t wait to try more. Already came back this morning and will be coming back again and would love to be a regular here ☺️

Friendly staff and barista! Such a beautiful and hidden gem 💎 ✨️ got the matcha Latte and batch brew coffee with a pastry, and they were delicious. Sadly, they didn't have any gluten-free options. I would love to see more food options included in the menu.

convenient location just by the road, easy to be reached. Small cute self-serving water bottle and cups on the bench, reminding you keep hydrated after the caffeine. Warm greeting once stepping into the coffee shop. The flat white I ordered was presented in a crystal clear pattern, creamy topping perfectly matched the rich chocolate and nut coffee flavour. Totally worth this $5. Just feel very happy to randomly chose this lovely shop.

I consider it a place that has it all in terms of quality, good atmosphere and excellent service. The people who work there are really friendly and warm to others. I am very happy to have met them because now they are like my family, they even had a surprise for me on my birthday!
