Well made coffee, the beans have a strong but not too sour or bitter taste. Friendly staff and modern interiors. Love it.

I rarely review Melbourne places when I come up from Geelong, but I was really impressed with this place overall & definitely needed to write one. Barista was super friendly & makes great coffee (milder flavour which I personally like) & my houjicha latte was awesome! Nice strong flavour with no added sugar (big plus for me), so if you are more into that this is the place for you. They use Alternative Dairy Co. Oat & Happy happy soy boy for those who use alternative milks. Recommend visiting them for sure if you are seeking a solid coffee or Houjicha.😊

Great new addition to the neighbourhood. It’s a small space without much seating, but it’s cosy and comfortable with a nice design, friendly staff and of course, really delicious coffee.

If plants and matcha are your vibe, head to oko 💚🍵 Had a blissful morning walk today and stopped by for matcha latte. The taste was okay but wish I can ask for different level of intensity as it tasted bit too milky for my liking. Still good though, no complains 😇

Hands down, Oko serves one of THE BEST matcha and houjicha lattes I have had in Melbourne! Featured: • Matcha Latte 🌟 • Iced Houjicha Latte 🌟 • Matcha Croissant 🌟 If you are hoping to get your hands on one of their croissants, make sure to get there early! They usually sell out by around 10-10:30! BUT It’ll be worth it bc they are sooo flakey and fluffy and definitely the best paired with a hot bevvy.

The happiness of having the high quality Geisha Batch Brew Under $5 AUD… So happy to visit this lovely coffees and lovely neighbourhood. I can see how popular is this cafe by the amount of regulars. The owner of the cafe really care about the quality and how people enjoy the coffees! The tone of the cafe is satisfying and cozy which everything make me so pleasant. The coffees are really aromatic and gentle sweetness.

Beautiful cafe, great service, such a wide array of yummy pastries and hot drinks. The Hojicha Latte is a delicious option when you don’t want coffee.

Nice milkies and interesting coffees, going to be an interesting cafe to watch over the next few weeks because there's a lot of events going on for MICE. The cafe is small, but well formed and there's nice batch brew available too. It can be busy here, but most people seem to get takeaway ad it's in the hustle and bustle of the city. I'll be back soon to see what else is going on here.

I have been to many famous coffee shops in Melbourne and one of the shops that has achieved my absolute satisfaction is this shop. The filter coffee smell so good with amazing taste that won my heart for the first time. The second time I bought a hojicha latte which is the best seller and this absolutely satisfied me. Lovely staff and customer service is amazing, they make me laugh all the time I came. Must try guys 🔥

My local, daily provider of caffeine and (at least) weekly provider of a top-notch breakfast. The service is friendly, calm and efficient. The coffee is consistently wonderful (based on A LOT of experience) and the food is delightful. Could not ask for a better local coffee shop or nicer folks to chat with daily. Bravo!

Oko is famous for their matcha, but what keeps me coming back is their specialty coffee.

I initially had a coffee from OKO that was not the best, the owner reached out and was super friendly in DM's regarding my bad experience. I went back in today and watched carefully as the Barista greeted everyone with a genuine friendly smile, took orders at lightning speed. When making the orders, the barista was careful with the exact measurement of the grind before tamping and pulling a shot. My coffee was brilliant! Super rich and full of flavor. I truly believe my original experience was a rarity with this level of care and this boldness of the beans! 5/5 brilliant little shop for a fast coffee on the go.

Quite simply, one of the best specialty coffee venues in Melbourne. Treat yourself with a selection of espresso or filter based coffee from top producers and roasters. These include the owner himself btw. The service is on par with the coffee. Right on!

Super friendly and amazing coffee. Danny and the team are fabulous, quickly becoming my new local and I start the day with a double shot coffee here to set things up for success. Love it!!

Had a mixed experience to share. The coffee they serve is decent—well-brewed and enjoyable. It had a satisfying flavor profile, the quality was respectable, and it provided a good start to my day. However, I must admit that the service left something to be desired. While the staff members were polite, the overall service fell short of my expectations. There were moments where it felt a bit lackluster and inattentive, which impacted the overall experience.

Standout coffee here that's roasted by the barista! Tx to Scott and Danny for the incredibly pour overs and knowledge of the beans and process - first one was amazing with unbelievable cherry flavours, second bourbon one was earthy and truffle like and that batch brew had an umami flavour that I've never had before. If you get the chance sit down, let them know what flavour you like and let Danny pick and surprise you!

Visited early morning and ordered a matcha latte and a matcha cream filled croissant. The matcha latte was quite strong and smooth with minimal or no sugar added to enjoy the pure flavour of matcha. The croissant was nice and crispy with a generous amount of matcha cream. Also had a flat white which was pretty good; mild coffee strength with no acidity or bitterness. The barista was friendly and passionate about the coffee.

As someone who loves a dark roast in an 8oz double ristretto, I found the coffee here lacking. I know there an unprecedented inflation occuring but charging $5 for a small 6oz single shot coffee in a coffee bar located on A'beckett street is expensive. Friendly staff. Hip place to hang out. Coffee is more suitable for those who like it light.

Melbournes newest specialty coffee brew bar / cafe Definitely worth checking out and trying some fantastic coffees on offer. Anywhere serving terroir lab you will have your mind blown. Keep doing what you are doing, I will be back :)

Finally, I made it to OKO CAFÉ in the Melbourne CBD, where I even had the chance to talk to Danny, the owner. I enjoyed a tasty espresso shot from Colombia with a chocolate croissant. That was a great combination of a fruit bomb coffee with traditional, authentic chocolate pastry. Afterwards I went for a very special treat: a washed geisha from Panama – very clean, crisp, and super floral. It was interesting to see, that Danny was using an automated pour over dripper: the iDRIP from Taiwan. Automation is gaining in importance, especially as we are facing a major shortage of skilled baristas in Melbourne currently. But a machine cannot replace the smile and the interaction of a barista. I enjoyed the two coffees, the croissant, and the great chat! THANKS A LOT, and see you soon.

Insanely fragrant delicious coffee, non pretentious, friendly, and just all round a wonderful coffee joint. Albeit a bit small but it’s communal vibes, not much food when we went but we didn’t want or need it but we just LOVED the coffee. The peach batch brew or the citrus batch brew WOW gotta try it
