I’m living in the West for more than 25 years but why I didn’t know this place until today!! It’s perfect place for all age, family and for all purpose include walking, bike riding, birds watching, snorkelling, swimming, picnic and more. This place is well maintained but unfortunately Some people cut the wire fence and try to get into the protective area where we should respect the wildlife habitats area. It’s very sad to see some damage by careless people.

Great spot for a picnic or just to take in the fresh air and views. The bike track along this part of the coastline is great and this park has nice spots to stop and recharge!

Very nice walking path, quite romantic and charming. There is plenty of car parking nearby. If coming with the family, I would recommend spending a few hours here, then go to the nearby beach or parks for a BBQ and playgrounds.

It's a lovely place to go for a stroll and enjoy the views of the wetlands. There's a bay trail for cyclists and walkers and multiple benches around. There's also a playground for the kids and lots of native plantings. It's certainly worth a visit!

Beautiful.spot for a short walk. We snorkelled here and saw alot of wildlife. High tide with gentle swells recommended. Very safe to snorkel, with cute little fiddler and sting rays that are very approachable.

Nice spot... Good place to start a walk towards Altona. *And lookout for the pelican on the light pole near the boats in the far corner.

Loves the area. Paradise for cycling. Can cycle from Williamstown to Altona each side. Plenty of glass and green around here. Ok, there's no beach, so don't come expecting a beach. It's more of a rocky shallow area with places good to snorkel. Still couldn't take any snorkeling pics. Will upload some when time permits. Check my Instagram if ya wanna follow more pictures.

A great place for a walk with the family. Most pleasant views and will also keep children of all ages entertained. A good place for the whole family. Just be aware of the cyclists, while most of them do the right thing, you do get a few who think they are in a race. It just a matter of time when a bad accident eventuates.

Great for a casual coastal walk and learning about coastal ecosystems. Not too busy. It's an exclusive pedestrian path so no stress about cyclists.

A very beautiful and large area of wetlands. There are many swans, seagulls and birds. There aquatic creatures are cute, too. Don’t feed them, otherwise the water will be polluted. Clean and clear water is the valuable resource. Be careful of the snakes. They are more afraid of you. A good beach for swimming, walking the dogs, jogging, sun tanning and snorkeling.

I like going for a swim here if I don't want the packed-out regular beaches. High tide is much better if you don't like seaweed etc

What a great place for the local residents who can come out with families for daily walk, relax, have sea breeze, watch Swans and other wildlife.

This is a great small beach for exploring. Rocky but plenty of sand in-between, best at a low tide.

The place is very beautiful but has no toilets or dustbin around. A lot of thrash such as plastic, tissues and cigarette butts are strewn all over which in turn is harming the environment directly. Please carry your trash back.

A serene place to walk, cycle or snorkel! A hidden gem near Port Melbourne :) Came here for a short walk during noon time and was greeted with the warm sun, blue sky and quiet atmosphere. If you are looking for a super short getaway not too far from the city, you may consider paying here a visit to be close to the nature once again ✨

my teacher asked if we went anywhere during the holdiays. it was lockdown and there was a ring of steal. he later said, 'did you guys go to a forest or anything? you guys probably went no where, i mean you live here'. that wasnt all. he humiliated more at how poor we were by saying, 'i went to the forrest, because its like right next to my house'. this place isnt even a forrest. i swear my teacher flexes so much at how he lives in such a great area.

Great for a walk with the family. I love that it always feels different each time I go there, with a change in tide, new birds to spot or different colours in the water due to the level of sunlight.

Nature reserves are a great place to relax your body, mind and soul. There are not many parking spaces. It's nice to come after 5pm on weekdays in the summer. Remember to protect the environment, be quiet and abide by the rules when viewing the ecology, and you will find many great friends.
