👍👍 One of the most beautiful and serene parks in Melbourne. Sits along the yarra with stunning view of the CBD skyline. Dog friendly and BBQ facilities. It's my GOTO for walking, chillin out and picnics. People often mention park, dogs, walk, great, friendly, nice, playground, river,

Came here with my partner and had a really nice time. The park is really clean, although a little bit hilly but not necessarily a bad thing. The elevation changes would be really good for tiring out a dog very easily and with it being a dog park makes it sort of perfect. The area is very nice with all the big houses around too

Really nice old park by the Yarra River. This place is great for coming to relax and having a picnic. There is a playground for the kids, benches to sit on by the river and wide open space for playing or bringing a dog. This park is definitely worth a visit and the layout itself is very unique.

This park is an excellent place to bring your dog for a walk and a play. Such a beautiful, big, open area, and all of it off lead. My dog absolutely loves playing here and meeting lots of other doggy friends. She fascinated watching the rowers go past on the river. Fenced in playground is great for kids too. Love being here early in the morning

Clean, lovely park. Went to work in it for a while and it was awesome sitting by the river. The freeway noise is drowned out by the plentiful bird song. Parking is in short supply from what I could find. Great for a Picnic or walk in nature.

Great park to bring the dog for an evening play. Lots of friendly dogs to encounter yet the park is so spacious that everyone can have their own space. Nice grass without bindees or prickly things that stick on your dog's fur like other local parks do. Just wish people who came to this park would be more diligent about picking up after their dogs!!

Wonderful multipurpose park in a great location. I have come to this park with small kids to play in playground, on my own to run and with lots of different dogs out for a walk. The fenced playground is great for kids and there's also a cricket pitch on the oval. The off-lead space for dogs is huge and also has river access for any dogs who like to swim. Long walking tracks are great for exercising alone or whilst yours dogs run around and have the time of their lives!

Great park with amazing slopes which makes it look so scenic. Nice to walk, relax with view of the river. The grass at Fairview is always green and well looked after.

FAIRVIEW PARK is situated on Fairview St in Hawthorn Melbourne VIC. A wonderful scenery to explore - long walks path - neat always cut grass & the beautiful site of trees & shrubs -- the Yarra River passes to the park fresh & calm... Dog friendly for time of leisure & the playground very big - security gate all around.... An enjoyable walk abouts for exercise & fitness jogging....

Lovely kid + dog friendly park close to the city. As you'll see from the photos, the doggos can jump in for a quick dip too. Best to park up just off the main road.

Lovely wide open spaces for people and dogs! Views of the Yarra are very refreshing and there are a couple of landings for fishing from.

I walk dogs here most days through Aaron's Dog Jogging and I take the smaller dogs here and it's great.

Nice walk about 1km return on river bed. Beautiful at autumn with nice trees. Dog friendly. BBQ and enough parking.

Its good park but dogs are not on leash so very terrible for babies.

I'm working with Aaron's Dog Jogging and taking packs of dogs for hour-long adventures. Some happen at Fairview Park, while others are at Pridmore. Personally I prefer Pridmore because there is more shade there and entrances to the water and more for the dogs to do. I do appreciate the public toilet at Fairview though! This week it was very hard to escape the sun here and despite sunscreen, I burned ☀️🔥🥵🐕

One of my two favourite parks. Sitting on the hill to enjoy the breeze and its awesome view is very relaxing!

Great place to explore with its vast grassy areas, the Yarra River flowing past and a playground for the kids. First time there but definitely not the last.

Loads of different routes to walk so you can do laps without it feeling tedious! Pram friendly and has a great play park. Worth noting there are a few pretty steep paths (great work from the guy on crutches we saw).
