With this coming up as one of Melbourne's most expensive park ever built, I was unconvinced at first glance, but after spending time at the park, having kids not wanting to leave because of the sheer variety of play available to kids of all ages, and the facilities available, and the clever designs, you start to understand why the place is so packed. Public toilet available. Bbq (covered area) and picnic facilities available. Free parking available but in high demand.

This is the best playground that I have been to with kids in Melbourne so far. It has everything! Slides, climbing, flying fox, basketball, water spray, sand, swings and many more. Kids can spend hours and hours. It has toddler section and kids section. Perfect place to have fun and is free!

An awesome hidden gem. A small park but with heaps to do there. A water park for hot days like today, a huge climbing frame and a massive slide for the dare Devil kids and a massive wall for a friend Cricket batting/tennis hitting/ soccer kicking practice. Also a toilet facilities for kids. Areas for family to setup for picnics and shade areas for parents to hit and wait while the kids are having massive fun!

This playground is suitable for all ages and has a range of facilities to keep everyone happy. Grandparents can sit in shaded areas to talk among themselves while parents keep a watchful eye on their children. The water play area is the star attraction of this reserve. There is a wide range of playground equipment to keep the kids happy and occupied. They are all well-maintained. Adults can enjoy themselves in the barbecue area. There are a few public toilets here so you can spend many hours here.

Awesome for all types of ages... THE WATER side is the BEST on Hot Days...only thing I worry is that there's not fence around the area and kids could easily just walk onto the main road...

Large and spacious play area with plenty to offer. Great in the summer months for the huge water play area including jets and pools of water, surrounded by shaded seating. Multi-sport half court, and half basketball court. Large grassed area as well for picnics and kicking around a ball. There are several play areas that allows the kids to be spread out. Sand play with a water pump and diggers. In-ground trampolines, hamster wheel and swings. Small slides and tunnels for toddlers and rope and rock climbing for the big kids. Lots of nature play. Two toilet blocks. Parking is on the street - its a busy road with trams so be prepared to run after your tots.

This playground is one of the best we have been , my 3 years old really enjoyed being there. The play area is very nice and is for all ages. My daughter loved the splash pad and the structure that you can move it walking, I don't know the name. There are active places for basketball, football and others, there are also some barbecue places with a roof, I like that. there are two places for toilet I visit one of them and was it was dirty, we also found a lot of garbage everywhere, it's sad because it's a very nice place. it need more places for rubbish bins, it wasn’t easy to find parking. this park is for 5 starts but need to improve the clean and parking place.

Very nice park for the kids and there is even a mini tennis court (with a wall) for beginners to practice themselves even they don’t have a partner! Have a small path for the kids to ride scooters/ bike and sand pit is nice and big enough for the kids to get very busy. Have clean toilets and easy to access within the playground.

This is a great park for kids of all ages. Lots of playground activities, a water-play area and things to do from toddlers to young teens. There are grass patches with shade sails for picnics, covered areas with table and benches with some barbecues should you want to use them. Four toilets with baby changing facilities and plenty of room if you have a few children with you. The toilets, however, can often be dirty, full of graffiti and sometimes needles and blood and other disgusting items especially after the weekend. They really need someone to manually check them daily. Lots of lovely plants which is what I love about the park. Has nice wide paths, although it’s not really big enough to get a decent walk.

Having just moved into the same street as the park, I was pleasantly surprised to find this park so close to me! It has everything - fabulous play equipment for the kids, quite a few lovely clean BBQs for a Sunday family picnic and a water fountain park for the kids to play in and keep cool. I have 2 young granddaughters who will love this park - as I'm sure you will.

Little human's favorite spot! We spend most of our free time here. It's a huge park where the little one can explore everything. It offers many kinds of slides; our favorite is the highest one! We can also play with sand and play hide and seek in the tunnel! Don't forget to play with the water during the summer. It's refreshing!

It's a great playground for kids aged 5-8 years old. Flying fox, swings, slide that you have to climb up a structure to slide down. During summer there's a water area to cool down. You can walk around the park and enjoy scenic views. You won't be disappointed!!@

Beautiful play ground, well designed, for little and big kids. There is a water play area when the weather is warm, it's a lot of fun. Plenty of shaded areas too. It has bbq facilities, I haven't used them, but they are clean. There are also 2 locations with toilets. You could quite easily spend the day here..

Another great playground for kids. The water the paly area its all about kids and kids love these kinds things. The park and playground area is really clean and tidy. Only downside is not enough car parks and not enough sheds to sit under but apart from that its a good place to take kids on sunny day.

  • 5/5 Mark F. 2 years ago on Google
Looks like a great playground for the kiddies to go in. Tried going in one Sunday morning with family but it was already really busy - lots of parties going on at the same time which is understandable for a playground of this caliber. πŸ™‚ Also, parking can be very challenging on a good day as the roads adjacent to it are busy main roads and the Reserve's parking area is not that big and on a busy day can filled up really quickly.

A good park for afternoon play. Few good fountains and instruments for kids. Parking can be a problem at weekends. But for other days it should be okay.
