**UPDATE: Visited again. Consistent! Service, coffee and food all exceptional. Excellent service A MUST to go! Amazing and I highly recommend. It’s tucked away and very unassuming but we’ll worth the find. The service is exceptional and the young wait staff are very helpful and obliging/welcoming. The coffee was lovely and the barista was also very warm and friendly. Our meals were exceptionally tasty and absolutely cooked to perfection! Not kidding when I say PERFECT! We both had the ‘specials’, and they were that! The meals were also priced very well. Good value. Keep up the amazing work. We love supporting a small business with a warm, friendly atmosphere and exceptionally delicious food. A+

A great family owned and operated cafe only a few minutes walk from Chadstone Mall. The owners are doing a great job in keeping the loyal customer base happy by not being greedy in their prices.

One of the best scrambled eggs that I have in Melbourne. Fluffy, buttery, light and creamy. Seasoning can be better but salt and pepper will do. Coffee a bit light for me.

Interesting cafe that has a good variety of food items on the menu, we had the spanakopita and Thai chicken burger, both are just as good! There are very few cafe options around this area so this place is a good stopover if you are in the neighbourhood. Very friendly and efficient wait staff.

Nice and cosy family owned cafe, the atmosphere is very homie and the food is extremely delicious. I definitely recommend it and I definitely will come back to try other things.

Ordered a breakkie burger and Nutella pancakes today. The breakkie burger was awesome, really enjoyed it, the bacon, egg and cheese were all cooked to perfection, the brioche roll was too. The Nutella pancakes were a disappointment, as it was a single pancake that was extremely thick. Even more disappointing was the fact that I gave this feedback when asked how everything was as I was paying for my meal and I was made to feel unwelcome by being stared at in silence just because I was giving my feedback. I had a few eye rolls too which was extremely rude. To the manager at Valley Foodstore: all I was trying to do is give your business honest feedback. If you or your team are going to ask how everything was, please accept what your customers have to say. We give honest answers to the businesses we want to see succeed. After our experience today, we won’t be returning, however, I wish you, your team and business all the best.

Great cafe that looks to be family run. I felt like I was in their home and they were cooking me breakfast. The big breakfast was really good and not too expensive like a lot of other places.

The whole experience is brilliant. I’m a coffee nut, strong coffee there is amazing, they have their own roasters for their blend that is always fresh and has a natural sweetness. Coffee is consistently good, the barista/ owner clearly knows what he is doing, machine always kept clean as it’s never bitter. Their breakfast burgers are ridiculously good, always looking forward to my next one! 😊 Great family run business that treat their customers with care and respect. Love everything about this place, keep up the great work!

The Valley Foodstore is our local if you don't count Chadstone Shopping Centre. It's a great cafe, with amazing customer service. The owners are always up for a chat, are super friendly, and you feel a real connection with them, getting to know more about their journey, along with getting a real feeling that they want to know ours as well. It's the little things that make me more likely to return to cafe, and make a recommendation.

Beautiful little family run cafe right next to Chadstone Shopping Centre. Mum and Pop out the back cooking... felt like I was in their home. Unpretentious, super tasty and well presented food, where you can really taste the ingredients. Definitely recommend. Will be back for sure.

Cannot recommend the Valley highly enough! I’ve been coming here for almost a year since moving to the area and would never dream of going anywhere else for my daily coffee, it is the best coffee I’ve had in Melbourne. The breakfast is fast, fresh and absolutely delicious too. The Valley has the quick turn around of a busy city cafe with the service, range and feel of a friendly local space.
