Best baguette I've ever had (haven't been to France so I won't claim anything) The staff were friendly and nice, you can ask them for recommendations 🥖 The baguette was slightly warm and the filling goes so well together, the mustard was also 😘 A recommend for a quick bite! I also tried the coffee, it was alright. Highly highly recommend their baguettes! (I had no.3, the Le Normand)

Had the le Parisien! Great fresh, crispy and fluffy baguette 🥖 filled with delicious ham/cheese and a nice refreshing sharp pickle! So tasty! And a perfect work lunch for only 13 bucks a sandwich! Highly recommended

There aren’t tons of places around for a good French baguette but this is one of the few. Such a great spot for a delicious and affordable meal. Tried the pesto and cheese toastie and coffee deal which was great value for money, but I’ll definitely come back to try the full size baguettes.

DELICIOUS. Authentically French, baguettes are so light and crispy and really well priced. Will be a regular here going forward!

Lovely, friendly staff, serving delicious, crisp, fresh baguettes, filled generously with yummy flavours. Wash one down with a bottle of Orangina and pretend you're not stuck in Melbourne.

Lately I’ve been ordering the roast beef baguette. The baguette is fresh and crispy ,the roast beef melts in your mouth and overall a delicious combination of fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. 5/5 for taste, value and service! I will be going back regularly and I recommend anyone close by to visit!

Came across French fix while in the city for a uni class. Popped in to get some lunch and got the Le Parisian baguette. WOW ! Everything was SO FRESH ! The baguette was crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. I could’ve easily eaten it by itself with butter. The combination of toppings inside compliment other perfectly. By far one of the best “ sandwiches” I’ve ever had. The lady who appears to run the cafe is absolutely gorgeous. So friendly and welcoming. Absolutely recommend ! Couldn’t speak higher of French fix ❤️ Merci biencoup pour le beau repas ❤️

Best fresh baguette in the city 🥖 yummy chicken, beef & ham, I tried it all… all so delicious and if you’re lucky enough to try Muriel’s daily soup in a cold day, simply the best. Zak’s warmth at the counter makes you feel so welcomed every time and Muriel & Julien despite how busy they are, they always take the time to engage and ask about our day! Now that what I call 7 star genuine service, “service tout simplement génial“

4.3/5 Alright, I’ll give it to the baguette. We had ours with roasted beef. The crisp and taste of the baguette was perfect - it brought me back to France. Don’t get me wrong, the filling was good, especially for an affordable price, but nothing special. Actually pretty mid, I would say. However, the queue is long, so YES, you gotta be patient. Honestly, I might go back just to get the damn baguette. But a sandwich? Maybe not.

The bread of the baguette 🥖 is the perfect combination of crispy (not hard) and soft on the inside. Wholegrain mustard dressing. Rare roast beef. Delicious. $11 half baguette and regular coffee deal only includes one ham and one veg flavour baguette, and only half size baguette. For $18 I got a full size beef baguette and large coffee.

I had to run some errands in the city and came across this inviting cafe. The sandwiches are to die for and the coffee was fantastic. Nice strong and hot! Highly recommend and will be back for some lunch next time we are in the city.

Excellent baguette and super quick service. The only reason I took a star away is because of the hot chocolate, which is arguably the worst hot chocolate I've had in a while.

Went for the first time yesterday after reading about the store online. Was impressed by the service and the Roast Beef Baguette was without doubt the best Baguette/ Panini I have ever eaten in my life. Bread was crunchy on the outside and soft inside and still warm, the ingredients were fresh tasty and delicious. Definitely going back each week when I am in the office. Highly recommend this store for their service and quality.

Clearly very popular with lunchtime crowd and for good reason. Genuine French awesomeness. We visited at lunchtime when it is majority takeaway sandwiches but there are a few tables outside. We chose La Normand and Le Roast-Beef. Both excellent. Will be back to try more!

As an new European here in Melbourne I strongly recommend French Fix as one of best coffee shops in CBD Melbourne…Describing their special sandwiches, nope it doesn’t make sense, find a day to pass by and try one of their sandwiches …Mademoiselle Chef is very unique on here own French Culture&cuisine style….

I'm French, so I had my fair share of baguette sandwiches, and theirs are really good. Bread was slightly warm, which makes it even better. I don't drink coffee but my girlfriend said she didn't remember having such a nice coffee recently. Reasonably priced. Owned and ran by french people it seems. A great option for a quick lunch but note they don't do toasties during lunch time.

Came across this sandwich shop today, by pure happenstance, and I have to say, one of the best sandwiches I ever had! Warm, fresh French baguette, creamy cheese, ham and veggies, mhmmm, that was absolutely delicious! The staff was also very nice and friendly! I think I found my go to place for a quick bite, right around the corner from my work!

The most authentic baguette I've eaten in Australia. They really are like the ones I used to buy in Paris. Luckily they sell Orangina as well! Also excellent coffee. Lovely staff

The famous baguette place. For those who are in on the secret, there is nothing more to say. For those who haven't yet crossed the threshold of this tiny, innocuous looking bakery/cafe, trust the group of customers contentedly milling about out front (in COVID safe ways, of course) the warmth of the owner's smile, the quality of the ingredients on display, and the efficiency with which the freshly baked baguettes are assembled. Highlight of every day I decide to eat here.
