😠 If i get the name right, Andrew is the older guy at the cut shop, he doesn't want to work here and treat customers like an idiot. Asked me, a 7month pregnant, to go back and forth to pay for the wood panel before he could cut, then told me to wait there for 10mins so he could sneak out knowing no on... Asked me, a 7month pregnant, to go back and forth to pay for the wood panel before he could cut, then told me to wait there for 10mins so he could sneak out knowing no one in team was trained to cut the panel.

We all love Bunnings and every store anywhere is always time spent well, my local Bunnings has an amazing out door gardening section and I could just spend days here. Staff are really helpful. My partner and I are always here. He’s a tradie and he gets all his work stuff from here while I play gardens. Trying to grow a little veggie garden, and doing well can’t wait to come back.

Staff need to be trained more for better customer service .Especially in kitchen renovation area .There is alot of staff but not all of them are experienced. There is a difference between you talking to school children and a customer .simple rule be polite and smile its not that hard I guess ,if you can't do it give other people opportunity.

I love Bunnings don’t get me wrong. But every time I’ve been to this store it’s like a ghost town, meaning I can never ever find anyone who can help me in anyway whatsoever. Where is everyone? Very poor customer service and the adds on tv make out there’s staff there to help you, just paid actor’s I’m assuming cause there isn’t any one around. Ghost Town. Very poor but I do like Bunnings

Has typical Bunnings vibe, staff have always been professional and friendly. I’ve noticed that they have higher turn over of items I need than other stores. Must be in a popular spot.

I called to book in a ute hire for 3 weeks time and they said it was "too early" and I had to call back when it was closer to the date, when I said I need to guarantee availability for this date, hence booking in advance, and I asked why I couldn't just book now they said it was "too soon" and hung up on me. I was also on hold for 10 minutes before they picked up the phone and had to call twice before they took my call. Their rental system also doesn't accept anything but a credit card which makes it impossible to hire if you don't have a credit card, even debit cards were not accepted.

I bought one item this morning and queued up at one of the 2 lines at the Information Desk as the Regular and Self Serve Checkouts were closed and as I approached the counter I was told that I could not pay there and had to go to the back of the adjacent line. Poor excuse as there was a till nearby not being used at the Returns Desk. It is frustrating that Bunnings now have closed their Self Serve as I’ve noticed on a fairly regular basis and even their Regular check out was closed today. The Tool shop was full with a long queue as well. It is poor service and obvious staff cuts as I’ve seen this at other Bunnings in my area as Thomastown is not isolated but staff at this store for some reason cannot find workarounds. Bring back competition and another Hardware operator as I find once you have a monopoly then Customers don’t seem to matter as is obvious here. When you have a monopoly or large market share please respect how you got there in the first place and service your customer.

Good little Bunnings. Better stocked than Epping at least.

They better than Bunnings in Epping. Workers are nice, smiling faces and asking if we need assistant. Service at the cashier absolutely great. What a wonderful man, friendly and gentle with all the items we brought. Thank you.

No one in hardware. 5 staff at special orders and non of them could help me understand if a screw would fit what I was holding. Hardware called 3 times and no one showed up. Got a customer to help me instead. Only 1 checkout open and 20 people in line yet there did not seem to be a shortage of staff wandering around the front of the store.

I usually go to the Northland store, Thomastown is a lot larger. Parking is good as is access from Dalton Rd. I did feel sorry for the young casuals working there on weekends. These ones I asked for product location advice clearly wanted to help, but didn't have a clue. So, I had to go on the "grand tour" to locate what I wanted.

I had to get paint to fix a door at home and Olivia was absolutely amazing! She was so lovely and professional, she also went above and beyond to match the colours that I needed, she was also so sweet to my baby who was a bit unwell! Thank you so much, Olivia! I will definitely be coming back! 10/10

The staff are very condescending and are just straight up unwilling to help customers with basic enquiries; extremely dismissive, despite me being polite and apologetic. Particularly in the plumbing and timber aisle. I do not recommend seeking help from those people.

I would personally like to thank Elisa for her excellent customer service and support for solving a serious situation that I was faced with. If I was Bunnings Victorian Melbourne state manager I would be honored to have Elisa on my team because she takes pride in her position and she is a great asset to Bunnings as well as a great problems solver to satisfy her customers thank you Elisa

Every time I go to this Bunnings, the item I’m looking for is either not there (when the website says it is), disorganised, or mislabeled. Today, I went to purchase a few bags of soil, so I walked into the garden supplies area. There were no trolleys. Had to walk all the way to the other side of the store to find a trolley, only to find there were only the really big ones. Super inconvenient for just a few bags of soil. Next, there was no clear labelling on the garden bed I purchased, and neither on the soil. I grabbed a few bags of soil from what I thought was the $5 bag section, only to find out once I got to the counter and waited in line that they were double what the label said they would be. This store is so unorganised, there was stuff left lying around in isles and the staff had better things to do than help out. I’ll go somewhere else next time.

Bunnings is good and people seem fine. One star as always a massive cue and no reflgisters or even self serve open but loads of staff standing around near exit…

There's a guy who works at the tool counter, maybe early 30s-ish pasty white dude. Probably the rudest customer service experience I ever had. Asked a question to a nearby staff member, he was sitting down at the desk and overheard it, and then he raised his voice over the top of the nice staff member, and then yelled at us, continued to death stare us like we were trash. And then, kept shouting at as we were walking away! Context: We were purchasing something that was the last one on the shelf, and because it was damaged and there were no others, we asked for a discount. For a broken item. Pretty simple, right? Apparently not. Should've checked the account mate, our business spends more money at bunnings in a month than you make in a year. Get off your bloody high horse and get on the tools or something. Miserable trade school drop out. Go touch some grass. You need some perspective on your life dude. A high school kid can do your job better than you and you think you're something, you're just a sad little boy.

My favorite bunnings to shop at, well stocked, tidy, friendly staff, and the garden section has a lot of healthy plants.

Self serve registers are almost always closed (are they just for show?) While we are waiting in tool shop line or return/refund/keycut line for 15 Min at a time. And even that isn't organised properly. Return/keycut line is usually on the right (facing counter) today there were 2 lines, 2 staff at separate registers and ppl jumping in from left line to the right etc.. (there was a sign up on the left that said 'hire shop' ) staffs job to ask customers to move to tge correct line to avoid confusion! The customer service is poor at this bunnings!

I needed some pet supplies for our new puppy addition. I had the best customer experience. I brought in my golden retreiver 9 week pup and sat her in the trolley when we were greeted by the ever so sweet Judy! she went above and beyond for her a true dog lover and made the experience easy and rememberable.

An comprehensive store for everything you need for your house, garden, car, and maintenance. Heavy and light duty tools fit for different purpose. Cars' parking lot is very convenient and overall an excellent service. 👍🏼

Poor customer services, Call someone to help buy a product, cost 400 dollars, and the person was in break, So I came back the second day to call a gain for help ,instead to come direct to advise me about the product he stopped to help a lady for a bout 35 minutes, I was so upset 😡, Professional people ,good communication is hard to find now, I left and went to different businesses to buy the product

Great selection of plants in good condition, mature sizes, collectable varieties! Really nice! I did find 2 which were damaged (probably by customers) and had snapped stems and subsequent dying off leaves, so I asked for a markdown and the 2 staff at the register were happy to oblige without any fuss :)

Excellent support from staff. Staff at the entrance are very helpful if you know exactly what you are looking for. It would be a much improved browsing experience if you could find staff throughout the rest of the store.

Very bad service, i went there on 2/1/23 to buy some planters from the nursery the roller doors were closed and and thats where the planters are, so I asked for help from one of the girls there and she said manager have the keys she will ring him but she said they never pick up and they didnt and she said sorry so I left, went back there again on the 7/1/23 and the same thing. No one there put an effort to help customers very bad service Bunnings Thomastown.

Julia from the garden department has made our experience in ordering plants from Bunnings an easy one. She was so lovely to deal with, kept in contact with us about our order and every time we visit Bunnings garden department she always has a smile on her face and is genuinely ready to help. Such a pleasant experience dealing with Julia and Bunnings should be proud to have such an amazing employee! Well done Bunnings and Thank you Julia.

What a wonderful Bunnings!! It's huge and got everything! A very streamline experience we were in and out with what we needed except for the bit where we spent ages looking at all the things we didn't need .. We nearly bought some of them but realized that the caravan only has limited space . Carpark was easy to navigate and the entry and exit was easy .

Customer service is non existent. Had to organise some large items from the Garden section to the front carpark as i was told you can’t pickup from the back of store. Told to walk down the other end of the store for a Panel trolley and drag it back to the Garden section. Loaded trolley with 7 x 2.4m panels, weaved in and out of garden section trying not knock over old ladies. Was not offered help but more guidance on how to do it myself. Spent $600 bucks to do it myself. One star is to much👎

So there's this beautiful lady that work here "Ash C", in my opinion if there was an employee of month thing at bunnings, i think she should be the one, her flawless delivery of customer service and contemporary skills helped me out alot today. i hope management would read this thanks Ash!

Staff 5 stars they are good . The star rating given is for the product I purchased, if I could give a zero I would . It had parts missing ir the wrong parts in there all together and the product itself looks better on the internet then what it does when you unbox it. The quality was awful it had me question the star rating given online .

Bad information over the phone regarding a major piece of expensive carpet that turned up looking like your typical underlay. Assurance of refund or credit voucher if your unhappy with the products turns into a 2 day tug of war with management who insist you wait while.they attend "meetings" only to have the customer give up, leave and return the following day to again plead for your huge $540 refund or gift voucher. After buying all our renovating items from here spending thousands of dollars I'm given the poor excuse that I can not be given a refund coz quote" $540 is a lot of money". Well if that's a lot of money for poor bunings then how am I supposed to feel given that I've paid it for items that aren't fit for.purpose.. other than that the store is filled. With great items.

Bunnings is weird. In a time when customer service seems to have taken a dive in most places (no idea why) Bunnings seems to just get on with it and have an ability to avoid letting their service lapse even one bit. Being new to the area we're still "evaluating" the things around us but Bunnings here is like all the others - the typically amazing Bunnings selection and friendly staff that have an almost uncanny ability to know exactly where and what something is. Perhaps there's a training program in place that others need to strive to emulate? Don't know, don't care - great store, every time.

Great sized store with ample parking with all the typical fare. Asked for help and a lady was very helpful and provided excellent customer service by providing a couple of solutions. How good is that!

Had a wonderful experience at the Thomastown store. Was needing paint for my daughters new cubby house and I had a wonderful lady by the name of elisa assist me on the 27th Feb. I have finished my girls cubby house and the colours were exactly as I had asked. She made this happen by just showing her pictures of colours.

Tried to exchange a lid that did not fit bottom Only bottoms left no tops seems that there has been a rush on boxes and Cardboard boxes as well .But rest of my shopping excellent ..Will try another Bunnings store

It's Bunnings! What else is there to say... Well obviously the best hardware friendly shopping experience on offer as well as plenty of parking on tap.. Only weakness is the lack of staff on hand to help with any questions and the ones that are available are more often than not already occupied with another customer... But I still really enjoy the browsing experience and usually come out with more things then I originally went in to buy..
