Mmmm, a very underwhelming customer service experience. (Monday 14th August, 12:33pm) I spent 10minutes waiting on hold (on the phone) to ask about an item that Bunnings West Footscray currently are out of stock of. When the call was finally answered by Manfred she didn't ask for the item or item number (despite me having both) and said any item not in stock would have to be ordered as a special item and that it would take 4-6weeks. ZERO engagement on what it was I was interested in (or if another store might have it). So, I decided to call Hello Hello Plants & Garden Supplies and they were more than helpful - so I'm heading up there later today to get the two Espalier's (that I would have ordered with Bunnings West Footscray for $189 EACH). Such a shame that customer service can be so poor!

My husband and I were looking for something in storage on Thursday. We spoke to a young woman who was so interested in listening to what l was trying to explain that l wanted. I remember her name was Rosie, because she was so kind, polite and helpful towards me It’s very rare these days, with everyone in such a rush, to find someone like her when you are trying to get someone to help you when shopping for something. I only wish there were more people like her around these days

Mason is an exceptional asset to the Bunnings company. He was extremely helpful when I bought a faulty lawn mower. He gave me a full refund and recommended a different brand, which to date has been perfect.

Big store. Hard to find help like most bunnings. Escalator going up wasn't working today, so had to walk up using my own energy. Then had to carry 10kg box of lump wood out. It was a hard 5 minutes.

I like this store! Under-cover parking (AC store is on top) 60 aisles of goodies. Nursery, WC, Cafe, Play area: RHS. Timber area at the rear. Young but very helpful staff when I add there!

This is an amazing Bunnings outlet. It's massive in size and carries a very impressive range of products when compared to other Bunnings outlets. The basement car park is also massive and the ability to drive directly from the car park through to the timber yard to pickup material as we did is very convenient. We also had great service from a very efficient and friendly staff.

Great place to shop for hardware. Clean and tidy warehouse. Great staff. Easy return policy with no question asked. Recommend to look into its website first to find the item location (aisle # and bay #), otherwise you will be wasting your time wondering around. So many range of products available in there which is a good thing.

Good place to shop around for everyday things for maintaining your house and garden and lots more. The place is clean and well organised . Lot of covered parking available on site. Only problem there is only one checkout register and self check out is closed .

This store gets worse every time I go. Staff too busy chatting among themselves to notice customers needing assistance. Another time I rang the paint section requesting a quote for paint,he quoted $50 cheaper than The Paint Shop accross the road. I turned up and he says he'd given the wrong price. So I went to The Paint Shop instead which was $80 cheaper than Bunnings. Wasted my time. Highly unlikely to return. Highpoint store is so much better

This store is a really awkward one and they don't stock as much as the larger stores. Also had an email from Bunnings customer service confirming I could take their email to show in store to receive the 10% price guarantee... But the store refused to honour the guarantee based on the email. I was told to come in the next day or call customer service.

Nice people, a quieter place than the Sunshine. Though not always in stock, but it's a rare occasion it happens. Bunnings West Footscray is a unique place compared to other bunnings.

The staff here are pretty useless. Some mid level manager type was one of the most arrogant guys I've ever met. You're middle aged fellow doing a entry level management role that is clearly still too difficult for you. Pull your head in. You're a joke. Wish I clocked his name tag. Would love to name and shame. Might be worth a revisit with a follow up complaint to corporate.

Large store, was well stocked. Rosie was superb, very knowledgeable and was a super big help. Would be sure to ask Rosie for assist when I’m back :)

Today I was struggling to find a carpet steam cleaning system which i saw online and then Rosie came along 🙏 Thankyou so much for your knowledge and kindness and for sorting all my queries in record time and in one go! I visit Bunnings all the time and the staff are always so lovely. I do have a request though. I understand Covid etc the bubblers had to be removed, but they’re all available in public spaces again so why not Bunnings? I would rather not purchase plastic water, and the staff aren’t allowed to give out coffee cups, so perhaps you could bring in reusable water cups for people to use in the cafe space, or “unlock” the bubblers again?? People should be able to make the decision wether to use them or not. Thanks for your consideration to reduce plastic waste!

Jarod was extremely helpful and pleasant. He rescued my home handy man project from amateur hour and put it in the professional finish category. His product location and knowledge were excellent. The go to person in plumbing. Hours of indecision fixed in 5 minutes. Thanks Jarod.

I feel like this Bunnings is not as big as other ones hence they lack in stock of certain items

This is not a complaint, about Bunnings. I usually go to Bunnings maybe ones a year for small house hold repairs. This time I was disappointed. Floor members not interested they job. Try to avoid to help or when I ask to help me simply "I am not a plumber I can't help you" and live me. After a while one of the try to help and try to find right members told me to wait. After half an hour. No one came. I want complain floor manager. His answer was same " I am not a plumber " I was angry and frustrated. Left to Bunnings and went to opposition..😡😡😡😡

The guy Gary had useless problem solving skills .... he had a job to sell us a replacement battery lawnmower didn't have the stock of promo stock . And made no suggestions of others to buy ...ended up finding ourselves what we bought .He just waffled on about his own experience. Give him a job out the back.

A very big store. There are many products, including paints, building materials, insecticide, fertilizers for plants, gardening tools and household appliances. Remember to check the discounted goods for clearance. I have taken a photo of the location. There is parking space, train station and a bus stop outside. Very accessible.

Do not warrant their prices. Jamie was not friendly nor helpful. I suggest going to a nearby store. Previously had a good review for this bunnings however the last two times I have been here I felt I wasn't getting the service I should have compared to other bunnings stores. Unfortunately I had to update my review to reflect the most recent experiences.

Massive carpark, probably the biggest in Melbourne. Great Bunnings with friendly staff and always well stocked throughout the store. The garden area has a lot more variety than any other Bunnings too.

Went in this morning, Had a list and on my way throughout the store. An employee saw me and asked if I needed help. I actually realised I had a question. So I took the opportunity and asked her where to find something I saw on the internet. She was immensely helpful, took me to a section of the store I didn’t even realise was there, and found it for me. She was very helpful, and we had a quick chat. She worked in the household and storage section. Hugely impressed by her customer service. I hope if I need any help in the future at this store, my local, she will be there.

Only two stood out from the rest. The lady with pig tails and the fella that left his Jill up the path. Nice friendly pair. Eye lash girl could use some mentoring and will develop better people skills and give her confidence.

The service here is below standard. I’ve been shopping at Bunnings for two decades and so so disappointed on attitude, work ethic and passive rudeness. Get it together Human Resources as you have scraped the barrel.

I have purchased from Bunnings West Footscray for over 10 years now as a trade account holder. I have always been greeted upon arrival and anytime I’ve needed help there has always been a staff member who’s willing to help. Today I met Rosie and although I only needed a dust pan and brush, Rosie upsold me some great storage boxes. She was professional and definitely has great knowledge about the products on hand. She helped carry my purchase to the car and made me feel comfortable through out the whole exchange. Thank you

every time I come into this store I find Erin so helpful. She is an asset to Bunning compared to other staff that could not care about helping customers. She is amazing

Just like every other Bunnings but with an underground carpark filled with the smell of sausages and onions - although never did find where to buy one. Friendly staff, entrance from the carpark via 2 large escalators so no issues loading the car.

The best experience I’ve ever had. Came in with a leaking toilet problem. Spoke to Peter who was very knowledgeable. First bought a new inlet valve thing and special tool. Turns out I only needed a new washer in the valve, so I came back and he again helped with the washer. Got home fixed it, then realised I also needed a seat washer lol. So I went back third time and got the seat washer. I also let Peter know my progress. I fitted the other washer. Now my toilet does not leak and works perfectly. Thank you so much to Peter for all the advice. Didn’t need to call a plumber. 👍👍. Peter deserves a raise/promotion 😉

I only come here for Sunday sausage sizzle. It’s the best!

I didn't really like going to Bunnings until I bought a house. Now I'm there just about every weekend. West Footscray Bunnings has a huge undercover carpark, which is excellent during bad weather. The staff are helpful and friendly. The store layout is pretty straightforward and is very well stocked. It doesn't seem to get as busy as other Bunnings in the west (i.e., Maribyrnong), so this is my go-to.

Great place. Easy to find stuff. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Good cafe. Sausage sizzle. What more do ya need?

Who doesn't LOVE Bunnings? And their West Footscray store is no exception. Been here more times than I can count, and still love each and every adventure here. The staff are always friendly and courteous. There's rarely been a time where they didn't have what I wanted. The garden section is really nice and HEAPS to choose from. What I love about Bunnings is they all tend to be laid out the same way. So, no matter what store or state you're in, the chances are it's going to be similar, and that makes it easy to get around and find what you're looking for. For me, West Footscray gets a big thumbs up. Keep up the great work guys.
