Drove down to pick up a particular item. None were on the shelf, so I asked a member of staff for help. He advised that they do have them out the back, but he can't go get it because the store was being audited. I asked when the item will be on the shelf, which his response was today. I didnt want to wait around for an undetermined amount of time and with no alternatives or options offered, I drove down the road to another retailer and purchased the same item at a lower price.

My favourite Bunnings. Very spacious and well organised with the experienced staff always there for me to help with my inquiries and provide technical advice when needed. Highly recommended store with plenty of parking lots.

I just asked one of staff a question about screws. He was so aggressive and responded " You don't know what you are talking abou" He could have simply said I can't help you with this... The same staff was helping another customer with proper manner. The only difference was that he hasd an Aussie accent and I didn't. Bunnings is losing their culture for sure...

Yesterday I went to Bunnings Nunawading to explore about smart door bells (about which I have not much idea). I met a lovely staff member Harry who explained me about different products and tried to find out about my needs to ensure I don't overspend on something I don't need. My father, a loyal customer, visited the store to get a product replaced under warranty. Instead of receiving the expected customer service, he was wrongfully accused of attempting to steal. This baseless accusation not only embarrassed him but also reflects poorly on the store's approach to customer interactions. Such a presumption, seemingly made without adequate reason, suggests a serious issue with how customers are judged and treated. This experience has significantly diminished our trust in Bunnings Nunawading. Moreover, the overall customer service was far below the standard we have come to expect from Bunnings. The staff's attitude was not just unhelpful but also lacked the basic courtesy that every customer deserves. This incident has left us with a negative perception of the store, and we are hesitant to return. I urge Bunnings Nunawading to address these issues promptly. It's crucial to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and fairness, and that customer service is of the highest quality. No customer should have to face such an unwarranted situation.

The absolute hunk of a man who was working at the paint desk a few weeks back, -Zach perhaps? His spectacular customer service has me truly speechless. As a senior woman myself it’s so fantastic to see such talent… and HANDSOME talent being displayed by a young gentleman. I strongly urge you to hire more people as such. Kind regards.

Love/Hate going to Bunnings! I ALWAYS have a shopping list and ALWAYS end up buying a whole lot of other "stuff" that I had no intention of buying when I walked in the door! Huge range of products are clearly displayed, although finding someone to help can take a while. I try to avoid weekends when the charity sausage sizzles are on because the aroma of frying onions and sausages is irresistible, I just about always get roped in.

Over charged me $136 from one of their automatic service machine, many phone calls and store visits. Still no resolved, I had to escalated the matter to my credit card team to let them know they have over charged me. Worst Customer Services with no Result. Always double check their automatic check out, even though it may not show up in their system, or appear as unsuccessful transaction in their end. Double check with your bank statement, and make sure they don't double charge you.

This is the best Bunnings timber yard around. I got everything for my retaining wall in a few minutes. All the timber and other building materials are laid out in an easy to access, drive-through section It's worth checking out.

Bunnings staff used to be so helpful, unfortunately, not in this instance. I needed some pvc pipe for a project. They only come in 3m lengths for what I'm after. I asked if it could be cut in half which would have been perfect and fit in my vehicle. They've done that for me before. Now they say they can't. The guy said it's due to "safety reasons" and my only option was to buy it and cut it myself outside the building, which seems way more cumbersome and dangerous. I've had such good help in the past with expert staff solving problems. It's been years since I've seen this kind of service. This is a typical example of corporate laziness where the customer comes last.

Admitted to the shop at 8:40 pm by a great and nice lady in return section who referred us to Mason & Joshua in tools shop who they both were friendly and tried their best to solve our problem. Well done guys, most people in a rush on Friday night but you have spent time and help us. This is why everyone should try this branch. Thanks to all the team.

Great Place for home improvement needs. There are lots of variety to choose from and with varying quality too. So you will have to choose which option suit you best. You can get sausage sizzle as part of community fund raiser, usually operating on the weekend only for schools, and charity organisations. You will always find something else that you do not need now, but thinking you will need it in the future

What a great experience in Nunawading Bunnings today. Had to call for help to find the last inflatable nutcracker that I was desperate to purchase… The man, the myth & the legend Caleb (the timber expert) got down underneath the shelves and searched until he found it!!! So so happy with his help :) 11/10 for his customer service!

Great service from the two ‘mature’ guys from tool shop! The young guys from the paint shop and the rest of the stores should learn from them what is manners, respect and at least to smiles 😡 staff have no manners, lack of knowledge and complains a lot. Feels like I owe them.

Let me say up front I like Bunnings. I picked up most of what i wanted today. Mid sized store. Nursery one end. Trade at the other end. When I was here, there was a dual-gazebo serving sausages! Winner, winner. However, I'm seeing some cracks in this store. It could be Covid-19 related, China stocks, Christmas shopping (late Dec 2021) - or even staff shortages, but there is a problem. I had a question to ask staff. They were busy re-stocking shelves. This is the same pattern I saw at the Oakleigh store. So many team members are busy restocking, it is hard to find someone to help. This might be something Head Office can address before you start losing customers. Invest in your team. Please be proactive. I got most of what I went there for. Not all. I purchased the remaining items elsewhere. Sausage sizzle was a hit though. I hope you find your rhythm in 2022

Got everything I wanted. Also, while checking out, I asked one of the staff if they had bags for my plants, as I was taking public transport, so I needed an easy way to carry them. They’d run out of bags, and could have left it at that, but went to the trouble of helping me find a box to put my plants in. Was a great help and I really appreciate it.

Don’t like the car park much but it has always had what I’ve wanted. The delivery service is excellent and very cheap. Highly recommend the delivery service.

Staff were really helpful when I returned something I'd purchased on click on collect. Nothing wrong with the product but my Mum had died so we hadn't needed it after all, which was something other businesses had told us was "not within their returns policy".

On behalf of my colleague Harry Chen who visited the store 20/09. My lawnmower was not working and I took it to the store to have it inspected. Ashlee Ralph and David Kelly went out of their way to examine and fix the problems. They thoroughly checked relevant parts. They did the corresponding cleaning and adjustments. They also gave the tips how to maintain properly my lawn mower. Their excellent service and expertise are very much appreciated. You guys are the good assets to the company and keep customer coming back.

A huge store offering great choice in all aspects of hardware, plumbing, electrical, nursery, timber, paint, garden and dozens of other departments. Your one stop shop for all in hardware and the biggest and best in my opinion.

The store itself is good. However, one of the staff at the painting section is really rude. Feel like someone owing his money and he doesn’t even care about talking to customer. Meh. If you know what you are looking for, go for it. If not, change another store. I’ve been to four other stores, staff are nice.

Every single visit from the moment you're warmly greeted and throughout any isle you go through there are just so many helpful friendly staff making the experience such a good one. I shop here almost every week as I work locally ... rather than visiting two others closer to home. Definitely support this outlet!!!

Edit: visited the store today and it was well laid out. Parking was a little but squishy, but plenty of spots available. Bit of a wait at the outdoor register - one of the staff members was hanging around the spare 'closed' register but didn't seem to want to serve the 4 people waiting. Bunnings snag was a bonus. Original post: Ordered some solar lights online from Bunnings, to try and keep some possums away from my fruit trees. They're fantastic!

I usually find staff in Nunawading Bunnings are too busy to help you but today really want to give a shout out to Ruby at the Service Desk. My deliver from Bunnings should come this morning but the driver didn't show up so I called to chase up. Spoke to Ruby who is super helpful, professional, great communicator and went extra miles to chase it up with the delivery company and pushed them to deliver within next couple of hours. Her professionalism and ability to get to the bottom of the situation really exceeded my expectations. Really appreicated!

3rd October we rang up to book a trailer - got put on hold for a good half hour! Since the call was put on hold went thru to the lunch hour between 12 and 1pm we will ring back after 1pm to see if things improve!

Great selection but don't bother talking to staff, they are rude, grumpy and unapproachable. I use the powerpass app and pay on my phone so I have bare minimum interaction with staff. If you're a manager reading this you can get a mystery shopper to pass through and you will see. Oh and make sure your mystery shopper is not Anglo.

This store is huge, well stocked and busy. The Trade area is equally large. The Public toilets were all out of order, everyone was being referred to the one, single Trade toilet, which was a mess. The staff are pleasant and helpful.
