Ordered through Door dash. Reached on time. But lassi was missing. It was my brother's birthday party. Party was ruined because of poor quality of food. Had dined in a number of times. But this time I was shocked to see the quality of food, see the burnt naans. Worst briany totally half cooked and mixed with chicken. It was just like rice added with chicken. No, taste of briany. Rest pics attached speaks itself.

Food taste is average but communications (hearing) very poor. The lady who picked up the phone obviously has hearing issues and you have to repeat yourself at least 3-4 times before she responds with the wrong answer (obviously) to your question. Eg, Why was my Mix Chat cold, as if it was from the fridge? Answer: Waad? Waad? Lentils, yoghurt, etc., etc... Happy Communicating in English...

The finest and Indian cuisine in the entire Craigieburn corridor. Been going there for years for its food quality, hygiene practices and consistency of flavours and textures. Highly recommended!

Courteous Staff...Nice Ambience...Good Portions...Above Average Taste. Very wide range of starters available...We tried Spring Roll and Stuffed Chilli...Both were Good...One of the rare places that serves Indian Style Deep Fried Spring Rolls with Noodles in Stuffing. Ordered Paneer Kali Mirch in Mains with Garlic Naam, Butter Naan and Butter Roti...Nans were Good but would not order Roti again...Paneer was very bland, the moment We asked for Salt, one of the staff came enquiring how the food is and promptly offered to replace it...an extra star for Hospitality...We would try the place again when it will be less crowded. Update: Went there again when the place was not so crowded...Had Veg Kebab, Paneer Lababdaar and Navratan Korma...All of them were delicious and authentic in taste...Tried kulfi faluda at the end and that was like cherry on top.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant today, before we always prefer to this restaurant , order food ones in a week. But this time my husband order for take away curry and when he took a bite this Aluminium screw in his mouth with a bite of paneer. We were shocked at how unprofessional staff was at this restaurant. Luckily it didn’t damage his teeth. We will not order the food at TASTE OF AMRITSAR ever. Really disappointed.

Really wanted to give a negative review but google does not provide it as an option. The story begins Pre Event - Organised a Birthday dinner for 21 people (6 families). Was provided a time slot from 7 to 8.30 - which we happily accepted and communicated to all the families. On the day - All families turned up and we were asked to wait for 5 minutes * 5 (25 minutes) and they provided us table for 12 and others were asked to wait for another 5 minutes 5* 5 (25 minutes). So after waiting for 50 minutes - we decided to ring around and luckily were accommodated and drove to another restaurant 25 minutes away. The staff were apologetic but the lady owner (with a smirk on her face) did not even apologise. The restaurant might not care but Never recommending to any family or friends. BEWARE others - Don't make a booking especially on a special day as they might make it extra special by disappointing you

I've eaten here a lot, and the quality seems to be going down-hill. Had the butter chicken last night - sauce, rice and naan was delicious but the chicken was obviously the cheapest they could get their hands on. Four(!!!) of the pieces had hard bits in - either tendons or bones. I'll be back when you stop cheaping out on your cuts of meat (or allow chicken breast) - seriously, by the fourth i wanted to throw up, completely ruined the dish. I'm usually really generous with my ratings (this is my first ever 1*) - not trying to be a "Karen". I'll be shopping around for another local indian or making my own from now on. It's sad to see what was once a quality restaurant cutting expenses to the detriment of the quality of the product/food.

We live in Craigieburn and normally in weekdays or weekends we prefer to go some Indian restaurants for getting delicious food which remember the same taste of India. Last day me and my friend visited this place in the hope of getting same thing that we thought about the Indian restaurant but unfortunately we are not satisfied by your service of food that we order as but the boy who attends the customers in front desk who is standing in front reception he asked us to take table and then they provoke us that we are near to closing the restaurant and they are not ready to take our order according to us as we need our order in sequence but in the hurry of timing that was not happening because there was 2 hours left from closing but they are refusing us for our orders but after our order they provide us food but in the dish we are not getting the taste we have to get as we pay for food we have right to get delicious food but nobody’s care about the taste and they treat us as we are not paying them well and we guess they want that we leave as soon as possible all the above we can say that the food is not good and the service from staff is good but the boy who is always standing there he is not giving his 100%. I suggest to the owner if you want to run your restaurant in well mannered way please remove that boy from that position give him some work behind the front desk

I always love the food here. We like to have a mild food so chef was able to make it according to our choice. You will get the quantity with quality. My fav one is paneer Tikka and kadayi paneer. I always ordered these along with other dishes. My favourite one .

I visited here for a dine-in experience last week, and I must say that I was generally satisfied with the service provided. The food, on the whole, was quite good and offered good value for the money spent. However, I did encounter an issue with the plain rice I had ordered. Upon receiving the plain rice, I noticed an unusual smell, which raised some concerns. I promptly brought this to the attention of the staff, who explained that it might be a result of the method used to cook the plain rice. While I understood their explanation, I couldn't help but wonder if the smell could have been due to the use of uncooked rice that had been stored for an extended period. On a more positive note, the curry and nan that accompanied the meal were delightful. Nevertheless, based on my experience with the rice, I would advise against ordering any rice dishes from this establishment. In fact, I would recommend that the owner consider improving the quality of the rice used, as well as its texture. This small adjustment could significantly enhance the overall dining experience.

Very disappointed. Very blend taste. Price is over according to quantity. I went with my family for breakfast. Service was good, but food was tasteless and kulcha was hard like rubber. I gave the feedback upon asking by staff...and I gave the honest review. Staff is not trained about that situation.Just apologise and went away. Went to counter, gave the feedback, show the picture. I really don't want to pay.. but I paid. Waste my $60 . I was expecting the good outcome by staff. No discount or regret.. Even other customers were sending the food back. I should do that sending the food back...but I know the feeling as a Chef. No regret to loose the customer...will never come back. U don't know how to keep Ur customers.

Food is amazing, good job chef really! Though the women are not very welcoming and dont know if its strange or normal to get your guest to pack their own left over food but that happened. I asked if she can put it in the container and looks at me and says um not really as she proceeds to pack the food. Strange experience, I felt tense and uncomfortable. I want to say in future I will get the food to go, but they put that bad taste in my mouth that im not even ordering to go either sorry.

An absolute disaster of food and service, Ordered takeaway for all the family and friends, food was stale with an off smell. There is no consistency in this place. Please don't waste your time and look for something better or rather eat at home 👍

We had dinner here the other night, they were super accommodating of our 4 and 1 year old. The waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food is reasonably priced, portion sizes are very generous and everything we had was delicious. My favourite is the shahi paneer, the sauce is amazing!

It was nice food. Dal mkkhani was beautiful. It was the first time I had this dish but I have to say it was really nice. Cheese chilli was cooked nice too and the flavours were perfect. Only complaint was the chicken korma could have been prepared a little better but it still tasted delicious. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

One of the best Indian cuisine I have tasted in Melbourne. The quality and quantity of the dishes is excellent every time we’ve been here. The ambience too is simple but elegant. The original taste of paneer ( cottage cheese) is what my wife and I love the most! Keep up the good work!

A great place for authentic, delicious and variety of Indian food. It's a family run business and the owners are always present in the service area and kitchen making sure the food quality is right and service is quick. It can get really busy and can have long wait times, so it is suggested to call the restaurant in advance to secure your table.

I've been to Taste of Amritsar many times and have enjoyed it every single time. The food is fresh and very tasty, the service is quick for the complexity of food, and the workers are very friendly. I'd especially recommend their goat kali merch, Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic naan, gajrela and their Kashmiri rice. Will definitely come more and more. Thank you for the great service!
