Only ate here with our group. Great cocktails and food. The place is dripping with history. Architecture is awesome. Only wish we ate there earlier so we could take on the sites during the day! Very cool gentleman greeted us, came to find out later he loved it so much he bought one of the cottages and now lives there!

We vacationed on Nevis with 3 generations over the winter holidays in 2019-2020. The Hermitage was so incredibly helpful and flexible in assisting in coordinating our family's stay. The rooms were beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and comfortable. The amenities exceeded our expectations. We quickly felt at home with the staff and other families who were also there with multiple generations. What a wonderfully unique travel experience - gorgeous surroundings, delicious food, terrific service. If we ever return, we'll definitely stay again!

Fantastic pizza! When we were there during the festive period, there was a lovey choir singing carols as well. Overall a great experience.

This place is gorgeous with unforgettable history. The quality of the main house is amazing. Quality of home construction many years ago is unmatched. Definitely worth visiting if ever in Nevis.

Clearly one of the best places to stay in Nevis. Customer service was outstanding and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The Hermitage is an historic property which spans several acres in the mountains of Nevis. During my stay, I saw monkeys and donkeys walking through the property eating mangoes first thing in the morning. It was an experience seeing nature interwoven within the fabric of this historic property. If you were serious writer, reader or have a fascination with historic architecture highly recommend this property for well deserved getaway from the hustle and bustle of life.

Wonderful place to stay in Nevis. Service was outstanding, all the staff friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Best Caribbean breakfast buffet ever! The Hermitage is an historic property with mango trees and soft grass while baby chicks, monkeys and exotic birds roam about. We enjoyed challenging morning hikes up paved trails around the mountainside with beautiful views. The owner Richie was very accommodating to our group of 18. I would definitely stay here again!

I've had dinner at the Hermitage before but never been to the Wednesday night West Indian buffet. It was exceptional, the staff, the atmosphere, the food at the end topped off an amazing night. Would recommend to anyone desirous of getting an authentic Nevisian cuisine experience !
