Visited 2019. Place needs major updating, a few Beach chairs broken, staff were smug and meals were expensive—forget about asking for an extra pat of butter or more syrup at breakfast. Spotty internet; office staff did not know how to confirm flight and print boarding pass. Forget purchasing sunscreen or whatnots —items look dusty and expired. Restaurant / bar is a sad place though initially feels quaint then you realize the female staff are smug, slow and really don’t like you. At night, bar is populated by locals and you don’t feel welcome. Window lock was broken in cottage-finally fixed day 3. Room safe missing; porch screens falling out. This place has so much potential because of location and nice beach. When speaking to owner, he has so many excuses. Forget asking for a clean beach towel—1 per guest per week; maid give u stink eye if you press her.

Dirty bathrooms no WiFi in rooms and horrific steaks. Owner is to occupied in drinking and partying to care about the simplest things. No passion at all. I only wish I owned it. I would turn it into an unforgettable place. I can see in the past it used to be a semi decent little place. However today they just stopped caring. If it was not for the water taxi dropping off people it would look totally neglected and run down. It’s a shame about the dock and the cabanas. Owner stopped caring. Someone should invest and bring it back to life !!!

Well I was there it was very quiet sometimes the only people on the beach. At breakfast, lunch and dinner the food was very nice and well cooked. Bit noisy from the lorrires going past from the near by road. A little bit run down. Good snorkeling. Our room had a good view of the sea, always kept very clean.

Always has and will be the number one beach spot on the island. If you're looking to relax, that is. Great staff, great food, always good people.

Lovely hotel. The rooms are a great size, very spacious. I was on the 2nd floor so the view was great. My issue was with service. We checked in and was not provided with a map so i had issues finding my room. I had to go back to the front desk. The roads at the hotel is in need of paving. It was a rainy day and the roads were a muddy mess to travel with bags. The other issue i had was with wifi, we were not provided with the passwords, i attempted to call front desk multiple times and could not get an answer in the morning. My PET PEEVE was the shower. It was clearly not cleaned. There was hair in the shower and dried body wash on the walls. The little things go a long way and these small details made a difference to my stay. I will visit again because of the location.

Although I didnt stay here I rented a house very close by. Was a great place to come simply to have a drink and a chat. The beach in front is very good and I swam here in the mornings. No hassle and a laid back place in one of the Caribbeans lesser know islands.

The resort is timeless with a very relaxed atmosphere. Located right on the beach, the individual gingerbread houses give a spacious feel. Spectacular sunsets every evening make for a romantic setting and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters is lush. The water sports and other activities are right on your doorstep, meaning even the grumpiest of people have the best of times. The food is good quality although not always that varied and the staff are always welcoming and eager to help out.

It's cool. The beach is not that great, buy is very comfortable to have it some meters from your room. Some is the rooms are like little houses and the garden is really nice. The restaurant is ok, and the prices are good, According the place. You can dinner a very good dish of seafood pasta and a soda for less than 25 usd. Also they give you warm bread and butter. Tap water is free. I would return. The cool thing is that is very close to the oualie water taxi dock, very convenient, you don't need to pay for a taxi.

We and another couple stayed at the Oualie Resort over Thanksgiving 2022. The resort is best described as shabby. Our toilet leaked and was falling apart. Our neighbors couldn't get in their cottage since the lock battery died and no one had a master key. Our friends had a non-functioning safe. Overall the resort needs major renovation. We found the food in the restaurant was often uneatable. We stopped eating there and went to the many fine nearby. The beach was nice however.

Visited the beach. Unfortunately sea was a bit rough for swimming. Very calming.

A family member stayed here, which I found to be a quaint and idyllic out of the way spot. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the larger hotels on the island. The staff were extremely welcoming, polite, knowledgeable, and engaging when exercising their duties. Although I was a visitor who visited on several occasions and not a guest, this is definitely a wonderful place to stay.

Oualie Beach Resort was the best place for our group of 45 people (private pilots) during our travels through a number of Caribbean Islands. We felt at home, the location was superb, on the Beach, very friendly and casual athmosphere just as we like it ! the Oualie Beach is the only hotel we will be staying at on our next visit ! Thank you Faith !!! on behalf of the entire group, they ALL loved the experience !.

Very close to a five star review. Perfect location for a peaceful getaway - wonderful beach teaming in nature - calm warm waters, at least 15 species of fish seen while snorkeling near the rocks. Good size room with sea view - quiet, comfortable, clean. Happy memories made. What would have made it perfect? - warm water ( 8/10 times the shower was cold), better quality food in the restaurant ( sorry but I don't think the chef understand how to cook) and friendlier staff ( some we're fine, but others came with ' attitude'). Despite these blemishes, I'd definitely recommend and would revisit.

September 2022 Trip My husband is a Nevian therefore I was excited to visit his homeland. We visited for our wedding Anniversary. The location was perfect, close to every where we wanted to go. However I was truly disappointed with the facility, it's badly in need of a MAJOR update. The refrigerator was rusting, toilet seat was falling off the furniture needs to go, my sheets weren't nice and soft, they were coarse to the touch, Really out dated. However the service was excellent all around. We met some beautiful people there. The food was okay, but I wished they had more variety of local dishes . I would returned but would have to have proof of the upgrade which is well over due.

We visited for NYE dinner. They had live music, the vibe was very acceptable. The lobster was tasty if not freshly caught and the beef was juicy and delicious. The food was certainly worth a second visit. The service was very good, Tasha was a great waitress.
