Where
to
begin
in
trying
to
capture
the
essence
of
a
solo
trip
at
the
BodyHoliday
in
St.
Lucia?!
When
preparing
for
my
trip
to
the
BodyHoliday,
I
thought
it
can't
possibly
deliver
what
it
says
it
does
-
"Give
us
your
body
and
we'll
give
you
back
your
mind"
is
a
pretty
big
statement!
But
in
my
experience,
it
gave
me
back
so
much
more.
I
spent
one
week
in
the
magical
BodyHoliday
in
March
of
2022
on
a
solo
holiday,
my
first
trip
since
covid
began!
I
was
open
to
spending
the
week
on
my
own
kept
busy
by
the
expansive
list
of
activities
but
I
also
knew
that
the
BodyHoliday
uniquely
positions
itself
as
catering
to
those
solo
travelers
who
want
to
maybe
dine
with
others
in
the
evening.
The
communal
dining
was
actually
a
great
way
to
start
my
experience
at
the
BodyHoliday
and
is
where
I
met
three
amazing
friends
with
whom
I
dined
and
spent
time
with
during
the
week
-
highly
recommend
checking
it
out
if
you
are
solo
or
a
couple.
The
daily
spa
treatments
are
fantastic,
just
be
sure
to
plan
out
your
treatments
at
the
start
of
your
trip
so
you
can
take
advantage
of
a
scrub
early
on
before
the
sunburn
hits!
It's
also
a
good
idea
to
plan
early,
so
you
can
decide
what
other
activities
you'll
do
around
your
treatment.
In
terms
of
planning
in
general,
starting
your
stay
with
the
Welcome
tour
will
really
help
orientate
yourself
for
the
week
and
give
you
an
idea
of
the
scale
of
activities
on
offer.
If
you
are
lucky
enough
to
have
Leah
do
your
Welcome
tour,
you'll
be
taken
care
of
by
one
of
the
kindest
people
who
will
do
everything
she
can
to
make
your
stay
even
more
amazing!
Leah
goes
above
and
beyond
just
by
being
herself
and
was
great
in
helping
to
organise
additional
activities
for
me.
The
yoga/mindfulness
on
the
hibiscus
deck
was
magical,
the
aqua
aerobics
is
brilliant
and
no,
it's
not
your
typical
OAP
session!
I
completed
my
PADI
certification
with
Curtis
who
was
so
nice
and
generous
with
his
time!
I
was
a
little
nervous
but
he
completely
put
me
at
ease.
In
terms
of
food,
you
can't
possibly
go
hungry
here!
There
is
food
served
around
the
clock
and
it
is
not
only
tasty
but
super
healthy,
with
plenty
of
opportunities
for
"balance"
with
gorgeous
cocktails
and
fab
desserts!
I
stayed
in
one
of
the
standard
garden
view
rooms
which
are
recommended
for
solo
travelers.
The
room
was
perfectly
clean,
had
all
the
facilities
I
needed
and
a
very
comfortable
and
massive
bed
to
fall
into
at
the
end
of
the
day.
I
slept
here
but
I
spent
practically
no
time
in
my
room.
I
think
the
BodyHoliday
invests
more
in
the
amazing
BodyGuards,
hospitality,
all
their
staff,
food,
activities
and
this
is
personally
what
I
would
rather
see
than
investing
more
in
the
rooms
-
they
are
perfect
as
they
are.
Having
said
this,
they
also
offer
BEAUTIFUL
luxury
villas
which
we
had
an
opportunity
to
see
at
the
Wednesday
night
reception.
Lastly,
even
though
it
was
probably
the
highlight
of
my
stay,
my
day
trip
with
Marlon
to
the
Pitons
-
if
you
go
to
the
BodyHoliday
and
you
don't
book
a
trip
with
Marlon,
you're
not
really
experiencing
the
best
they
have
to
offer.
Myself
and
a
friend
I
made
while
staying
at
the
BodyHoliday,
booked
Marlon
to
take
us
to
the
Piton,
go
to
the
waterfall
and
visit
some
spots
along
the
west
coast.
The
Pitons,
the
views,
the
scenery,
the
landscape
were
all
stunning
and
spending
the
day
getting
to
see
St.
Lucia
was
a
true
highlight
of
my
stay.
Marlon
helped
us
tailor
the
day
and
was
so
flexible
as
the
day
went
on
as
to
the
stops
we
wanted
to
go
to,
nothing
we
asked
was
too
much
and
he
made
some
suggestions
(coffee
and
chocolate)
that
only
added
to
the
experience.
There
are
many
ways
to
see
the
West
coast
and
indeed
the
Pitons,
but
the
highlight
of
this
day
was
Marlon's
company.
If
it's
not
obvious,
this
was
the
trip
of
a
lifetime
and
I
can't
wait
for
my
next
stay
at
the
BodyHoliday.
