We had fried noddles with chicken, shrimp and egg. It was a huge potion and taste good and with local fair price. The young lady was very nice, she helped us translated the whole menu.

Where to start. We went here many times during our two week stay in La Gaulette. The owner of this place is super kind and cooks delicious roti, mine frite and other dishes. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately we had to wait about 30 minutes for food... We ordered fried noodle with chicken , rice and chicken and a roti. We unfortunately left disappointed with the amount of chicken ( 6-7 very very small pieces counted). Comparing what we got to other photos posted , can honestly say that it was not the same. I can however say that the place is very clean and very neat. 🇿🇦

This is such a great little place. And when I say little, I do mean little. There is only 1-2 tables. But the food is great and super cheap. The owners were so friendly. We went to eat twice and loved everything.

Absolutly delicious food!! Lovely hostess shop attached to get a nice cool drink we had roti, noodles and a soup all of which were full of flavour will absolutly be back before we leave! Take small change with you as it makes it much easier for the lady.

Very good food, we were there many times. The lady and the man there are friendly. It seems to us as an small family business. The place is authentic, with locals and turists as well. Sometimes we have to wait a bit more for our turn but every time was worth it. Highly recommend.

Loved the food. Really flavourful. We were sick of the bland food in restaurants. As an Indian, I'm very happy with the authenticity she has maintained and good hygiene and clean.

You will be a little cautious at first as it isn't the most glamorous place. I was. But - Oh. My. God. Up there with the best street food I have ever eaten. Doesn't get more authentic as that.

A very nice place for local food, cooked by locals. The vegetarian roti is amazing and also the vegetarian noodles. I have tried the halim soup, which is really tasty. A must try is the Mauritius focaccia which is really amazing and tasty. Also, the staff is really nice, helpful and always there to help with your choices. You can eat there or to take away, but we preferred to stay there and to enjoy the local experience.

5/5! We waited for a while, but it was worth it- huge portions, quality ingredients, unique recipe, extremely friendly owner! I went with high expectations because of all the good reviews and was not disappointed! Highly recommend!
