WOW Heritage Sunset was such a memorable, delicious, and authentic dining option in La Gaulette! It’s off a quiet street in the village with the most kind and welcoming owners. Their fish curry and farata were unforgettable! If we had more time in the area we’d come back here over and over again.

Nice local restaurant with friendly service. We ordered two local dishes and they were good. If full, the services takes a while but I guess that's because it's kind of a family restaurant.

A lovely family run restaurant with excellent food and service. The lady who runs it is warm and engaging and serves up authentic traditional Mauritian cuisine in an inviting atmosphere. We have been here 3 weeks and haven't experienced anything quite like it. If you're in La Gaulette or on your way somewhere else, make a stop. You will not regret it! It is a little difficult to access the narrow road but is well worth it when you arrive.

So welcoming, and absolutely delicious! We loved the fresh seafood night, with a platter for 2 of fish, octopus and calamari with creole rice and salad. Will definitely be back for the regular menu !

Amazing food and great, friendly host. We shared delicious sea food platter, which I would highly recommend and I have also asked for side portion of local vegetables. All was very tasty, feel good food. Get starters as mains may take sometime to arrive, but we'll worth the wait. They have a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. I had some nice Rose wine with my meal. There is parking on site, but in a narrow road so if you can walk, it's a better option.

We had dinner today at the restaurant and it was one of the best or even the best we’ve had in our 1,5 weeks of Mauritius! We’ve had the vegetarian platter and the fish curry and everything was freshly prepared and so delicious and nicely put together that we can recommend the place without any doubt! Also the service was lovely and the whole setting was really nice and seemed to be family run :) We will come back for sure, if not this vacation then our next time in Mauritius!

Lovely and welcoming lady, takes time to prepare the food and you taste that, too! Food is Mauritian and with lot of taste! You don't feel like in a restaurant but at home... We had dinner here tonight and can only recommend this place!

The owner of the restaurant, Doris, is such a friendly person - it feels like you are member of her family and you sitting in her dining room and not at a restaurant at all. The food was very good - perfect size - and cooked with love. Price is quite good a well! I have been there twice, during my holiday in mauritius.
