What an amazing experience!! We did the climbing to le Morne with Bryn who is an incredible guide, he delivers his passion, his knowledge and most of all his great enthusiasm. From the start to the end he was making sure that we were safe and in good health. Moreover Bryn was providing a lot of interesting information about the island's history and Le Morne. Bryn also took professional pictures of us as you see here attached, I mean a complete package! There is nothing on this place

This was my first hike up a mountain. Bryn, our guide, made the experience a wonderful one. He was knowledgeable and offered a wide variety of information. He explained every step of the way which helped ease my nerves. The views are absolutely spectacular. We began the hike early in the morning and got to see the sunrise over the mountains. It was a breathtaking view. As we climbed higher and higher the views just got better and better. I would recommend cool and comfortable clothing, lots of water, some quick snacks and sunscreen. Bryn takes beautiful photographs throughout the trip so you don't even need to really take your own. He even made us a video of the whole experience which will be a lovely keepsake. The descent was trickier than climbing up, in my opinion. To be honest, I wasn't wearing the best shoes for the occasion so I am sure that that played a role in my discomfort. However, the whole trip was a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am very thankful to Bryn for all his patience and guidance.

Bryn was the perfect guide! Having him with us, the tour was much easier than it looked like and he gave us the confidence we needed to complete this experience.

Hike isnt too difficult if you exercise regularly, and for people that don't they can still finish it but at a slightly slower pace. You will need to climb using your hands and feet for the last stretch but it's not a vertical climb requiring a harness. Bryn was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. We highly recommend him.

We recently completed this hike and it was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip to Mauritius. Bryn is a fantastic guide: he is extremely knowledgable, passionate about what he does and great fun! We had an amazing time with Bryn ! This has to be one of the hikes I am most proud of, thanks to his guidance and his instructions. I am afraid of heights and Bryn always had the good words to reassure me which was awesome. His comments on the history of Mauritius, the myths and the legends were much much appreciated as well as his fantastic personality ! I highly recommend doing the Morne hike with him ! Best way to see Le Morne for us! Bryn is an amazing guide, very nice and knowledgable. He made us feel safe all the time, which is crucial on a challening hike like this. There is some climbing involved and the early start helps with the temperatures of the rocks. We were so grateful coming down quite early (9-10pm) as it was already getting so hot! Up to 34 to 40 °C. With Bryn as a guide and a beautiful sunrise start, we were able to really thoroughly enjoy this day, hike and amazing view. It surely was a highlight of our vacation! Booking with Explorers Mauritius is an amazing choice!

Le Morne is an incredible site to see - it's even better when Bryn is the one showing it to you. First, he's a stand-up-guy, extremely professional, and overall amazing guide. We had an unforgettable&amazing experience last July 2023 with Explorer Mauritius. Needless to say it's totally 100% recommended. Bryn is very kind and a great guy. Looking after everybody on the group, advising where to put your feet in, assisting, helping and making us feel safe. We arrived earlier than 6am. Parking our car in an explanade under a tree where Bryn closed the fence afterwards. We could admire the sunrise at the beginning. Sometimes we had to climb some rocks, but being careful there's not reason to be afraid. The wiews from the top, even in our way up/down are incredible, stunning. It's been one of our favourites trekking in Mauritius. Bryn took beautiful pics of us and made a video, that he shared with the group later on. Amazing photo report. Thanks to him. Returning, when we were nearly close the car I scratched little bit on my hand with the volcanic rock. Bryn who carried everything on his backpack assisted me with antibiotic creme, bandage and healed my wound. I appreciate his dedication and knowledge during the whole trip. We got an extraordinary guidance to the top of Le Morne Brabant by Bryn. Bryn is an incredible climbing & hiking enthusiast. His competency was giving a feeling of safetyness and trust at any time. Moreover Bryn was providing a lot of interesting side Information. Finally Bryn was also acting as professionell photographer (for free) what you can see in the attached picture. Overall....there is nothing I could claim on. I can give a recommendation without any doubts.

Exceptional! Our guide is a great enthusiast who knows editing by heart. We started early at 5am to avoid the heat and it was the best idea, because we saw the sunrise and arrived at the summit around 7:30am without being stifled by the heat. The guide is great and takes exceptional photos!

The previous comments reflect very well how the hike with Bryn goes, so I won't comment on them. All we can say is that it was a breathtaking experience that will stay in our hearts forever. With every sentence you could tell the incredible love for “his” Mauritius and nature. He loves what he does and it shows. Thanks to his experience and his calm manner, we always felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire hike (my partner had hip surgery a year earlier). I can only recommend the tour with Bryn to everyone, especially since the tour on your own is very dangerous and should not be underestimated and he is currently legally the only one who is allowed to enter the mountain because an important access road has been destroyed. In the event of accidents with other guides or even alone, no insurance will pay. We thank you Bryn for this incredible experience!

The tour with Bryn was the highlight of our whole vacation. We were a group of 10 people but it felt very personal. Bryn gave us a lot of interesting information and we had a lot of fun. When the weather changed on our way back down and heavy rain came in Bryn knew how to handle the situation and we came back down safely even if it was really slippery! It was a big adventure and the views were breathtaking! Bryn is an experienced climber, he makes everyone feel safe and is the nicest guy ever. In the end we felt like we've known him for years. The Le Morne Brabant hike with Bryn was an unforgettable experience and the highlight of our trip to Mauritius. The stunning views throughout the hike made waking up at 4 am well worth it. Bryn is an exceptional and professional guide who knows the mountain like the back of his hand, managing the group expertly and providing helpful guidance where needed. He also took amazing photos and shared interesting insights on Mauritian history and flora. We wouldn't have made it to the top without him and highly recommend this hike to anyone looking for an adventure in Mauritius. Note that this is a challenging experience that requires closed shoes with a good traction. The second part of the hike involves climbing on all fours.

Words can hardly describe how great and special the tour with Bryn was. He is not only an incredibly personable guide, but also an absolutely experienced and unique guide. You can always tell that Bryn loves what he does and carries out his tours with absolute fascination and enthusiasm. On our tour of Le Morne, we started at a meeting point at 5:30 a.m., from which we drove a few minutes to the starting point of the hike. At around 6 a.m., just in time for sunrise, we started on the way to Le Morne - we always had incredible views of the island and the surrounding sea. When the climbing part came, Bryn managed to make everyone feel good and safe with his experience and personality. During the more difficult parts he was available, explained what we had to do and, when going down, guided our feet so that we always had a secure footing. Once at the top, the early start of the hike paid off; apart from two other people, we were the only ones at the summit and were rewarded with a breathtaking view. We had 45 minutes on site to take in this, take photos and relax. We arrived back at the starting point around 9:45/10 a.m. and were able to avoid not only the many hikers who set off later, but also the high temperatures. In the evening Bryn sent us all the photos he had taken and even a video of the entire hike, which brought tears to our eyes and summed up this great experience. This hike was truly one of the most beautiful and unique, not only because of the nature and the magnificent views, but also because of Bryn. His style, his experience, his love for what he does - big compliment ❤️

Completed this trail with my brother and father mid-July and it will go down as one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. Aside from Mauritius offering nothing but unfiltered beauty, Bryn is an absolute legend. Bryn is such a positive and energetic guy with lots of knowledge and training. He will make the hike a truly memorable experience. Well worth the money! He is the only one closely affiliated with the owner of the mountain, so he is the only official guide with the right papers and gate access.

Our trip up Le Mourne with Bryn was incredible. He was incredibly wise and knowledgeable and was a massive help to all of us. He was prepared for every eventuality and even helped another tourist as they were climbing the mountain and passed out due to heat stroke. Not only did Bryn look out for our group but he was constantly informing and guiding other tourists and groups going up the mountain, which just showed how well he knows this mountain. Bryn was wonderful and enthusiastic. He sincerely cares about your experience and safety, I would never have made it to the top of Le Morne without him as I would of been too nervous. I 10000000% RECOMMEND!!! What an A M A Z I N G way to spend a morning! Bryn is an absolutely fantastic guide on the hike up Le Morne. He stresses the importance of safety and is an extremely experienced climber / hiker and we felt very safe with him. He is attentive to every single person in the group and is always there to help when you’re stuck or a bit scared. We had younger children on our hike too and he took such amazing care of them every step of the way. Bryn is SO enthusiastic and brings such fun positive energy to the hike. He’s also really funny. And he’s also an AMAZING photographer/ videographer so you will come away the EPIC photos to show your friends and family. We did Tours to Le Morne Brabant and Chamarel waterfall. Our tour guide Bryn was one of a kind, friendly, funny, experienced, took care of our safety, very respectful with nature. Simple put: book the tour with explorers! They also have keys to enter Le Morne and Chamarel waterfall, so the tours start earlier or at better times than with other tourists. Chamarel waterfall: don’t just go there by car and public entrance. Rather do the tour with Explorers, to also go down to the waterfall and even swim towards it. Reasonable prices, highly recommended!

We went today to Le Morne Brabant with Bryn. We can 100% recommend this tour to anyone who loves hiking and climbing! We really enjoyed the hike and had a lot of fun at the climbing sections. It was a pleasure having such a passionate, caring and experienced guide by our side. I personally loved how Bryn was constantly encouraging the guys who were not so confident in their abilities. what an epic morning of hiking with Bryn. From the initial booking to the day of the activity communication was amazing even postponing to another day to make sure we had a safe and great experience. The 5am start may be off putting might seem mad but meeting the hoards of people on the way up in the heat as we were on the way down and had the mountain at top to ourselves made for an epic experience. Bryn has brilliant knowledge of the area and is a mountain rescue member first aid trained so you are in safest of hands. finally his video and photo package of the day (without any charge) is amazing the quality is so good. highly highly recommend!

Bryn is a friendly guide with a lot of knowledge about the region and the Mountain. But we were in a mixed up group of 20 (way to big group) people. Some of the participants were so bad on their feet, that we had to waite a lot and it took us 5.5 hours to get back. Smaller groups with a max of 6 peple would make sense.

We had the most incredible morning hiking Le Morne! Our guide, Bryn, was extremely knowledgable about the area and very patient with those climbers with less experience! The hike itself is pretty difficult, but with a good guide (like Bryn) it is easily accomplished, even for those with little or no climbing experience! We climbed in a group of c. 20, all of whom had different abilities - but Bryn made it an enjoyable and informative experience for all. Would highly recommend this tour - it is definitely a challenge but you are rewarded with a fantastic sense of achievement and spectacular views! Thank-you Mauritius Explorers and Bryn for such a fantastic experience!

Had an amazing experience climbing Le Morne with Brynn, who has a great brand of humour and many amazing local insights. Felt very safe and attended to during the climb. Brynn takes pictures all along and professionally shares them back with the hikers afterwards so their climb is forever immortalised. Was absolutely worth the time and money.

The most incredible day and an enthralling experience all around. The scenery is truly breathtaking and Bryn (our guide) was exceptional. A personable chap, who was attentive throughout. The tour itself is more challenging than a typical hike and involves some technical climbing. Therefore it is highly recommended that you hike with a guide. But with Explorers Mauritius (and Bryn in particular) a novice such as myself was able to complete the climb with relative ease. An absolute ‘must do’ whilst in Mauritius!!
