Horazis made my vacation in Mauritius so much more fun. The guide, Kevin was simply amazing. He had great recommendations of where to go for a hike depending on what I wanted. He knows a lot of the places and how to go about them so I felt safe going. He put safety first throughout the hike, and was patient with us. Throughout the hike he also told us about the history of the place (Le Morne mountain in our case) which was great. Of course, he took a lot of pictures and videos to ensure we capture the memories. Overall, I recommend him 100%. Great company to choose for your adventures.

My husband and me did the Sunrise Le Morne Mountain Tour. We were a little group, just two couples and our guide Kevin. We started in the very early morning and could watch the sunrise during hike. This experience was so amazing! The trial were adventurous but absolutely doable, Kevin did a great job and we hiked to the top! The view was awesome and getting up early was absolute worth it. On top we were the only ons and nobody else. That was great. This tour is such a nice experience and we would recommend it definitely. Kevin was a very good guide and helpful. Thank you again for this hike! Lets Rock’n’Roll! :) We also did the seven cascades tour (tamarind waterfalls) the next day with him (3,5hours. Absolutely worth it, if you would to a hike which is not “normal”, this was an adventurous and a crazy tour through the “Dschungel”!! So good!! :) Thank you for the great experiences! On August 7th I joined a great hiking tour to the top of Le Morne Brabat with Kevin the owner of Horazis tour company in Mauritius. It was truly a wonderful adventure! Kevin was born and raised in Mauritius and has a deep love and respect for the local culture and natural environment. He is very enthusiastic and and excited to share his knowledge with others. He encourages participants in his tours to push their boundaries but is also very kind and supportive. The tour of the mountain was amazingly beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had the best experience with Kevin doing the sunrise hike up to the top of Le Morne mountain. Kevin is an experienced, professional and friendly guide. He is thorough in all explanations and instructions during the climb, as well as giving plenty of extra information about the mountain, birds, flowers etc. It was amazing fun and we felt safe throughout. Kevin was excellent. Weather scuppered our original plan, but he was more than willing to come up with something else on the fly. Knowledgeable and charming, he made the day a great experience for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our two climbs, and were expertly guided through some of the more tricky bits by the mountain goat himself.

Our highlight of a wonderful holiday in Mauritius were the two hikes and climbs we did under the expert guidance of Kevin. @horazis We completed the little summit of Le Morne and the Wild South both of which showed this fantastic country at its very best with breathtaking scenery and superb company. Kevin is very knowledgeable about the areas of these hikes and provides expert advice in tackling the more challenging scrambles and climbs.

Absolutely loved Kevin as a guide. It felt like we were hiking with a fun friend that loves hiking and sharing facts. Kevin is really informative with his facts and made sure we were informed of what is coming the whole time. He took fun photos along the way and stopped at many view points and amazing swimming spots. I didn’t feel rushed at any point, rather encouraged to enjoy nature and take it all in. If you are new in the area, definitely take a guide (Kevin) with you, for the longer path that we took is not as clear and we would’ve potentially lost a lot of time trying to figure out where to go. Having Kevin as our guide gave us the space to just enjoy the hike and take it all in. We saw MANY waterfalls, swam in 2 places and also had a fish foot spa. LOVED IT. And KEVIN YOU ARE AWESOME. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tamarind Fall in Mauritius, and I had the pleasure of being guided by Kevin. I must say that my experience with him was absolutely amazing! Horazis was a fantastic guide for our hike to La Tourelle mountain. Kevin is very knowledgeable about the surrounding nature and endemic plants. He was full of tips during the tricky parts of this mountain. We felt very comfortable and had an amazing experience. We look forward to hiking with them again soon!

we did the 3-hour walk with our guide Kevin along the different waterfalls of Tamarin! Kevin spoke fluent English and was able to give us a lot of extra information about Mauritius and the falls! definitely recommend to go on the road with him! Do not try to find out yourself because you will be hopelessly lost as the route is not indicated with signs or arrows. Trust the knowledge of the locals to show you the right way through the beautiful nature and waterfalls! he also takes beautiful pictures!

My 13 year old son and I hiked/climbed up Le Morne Brabant today with Kevin. It was an amazing experience. Kevin was great and prompt in communicating when booking - and clear on meeting location etc. I was bit nervous about the 4:30am meet time - but he assured me it was worth it to beat the heat and crowds and he was right. Starting the hike at 5am as the lagoon turned pink was a beautiful start and we climbed as the sun rose, reaching the peak at about 7am. The top half of the climb is very challenging - requiring good levels of fitness and a lack of fear of heights. This difficult part took about 30 minutes or more to navigate. It was well worth it as the views from the top are stunning and it was a real sense of achievement. Kevin was friendly, knowledgable and clearly knows this mountain very well. Highly recommended (and climbing without a guide not recommended at all).

This hike has a mix of terrain textures---clay, dry dirt, grass, small stones, and huge rocks to climb. There's a lot of up and down, and it's very raw. All of the mountains are so different here. I appreciated this one in that, although it wasn't difficult, it was properly challenging. And, Kevin, the guide, is ALWAYS great! I've done at least six hikes with him during my visits to Mauritius.

Kevin was our guide on the Le Morne Brabant sunrise hike. It was a beautiful hike with stunning views. You definitely need to be physically fit. Expect not just steeper walking, but some crawling as well. It's not an easy mountain walk. Kevin is a great guide with amazing knowledge of nature and history of the island and ready to help you when crawling up and stop when you need to. PS: don't take light clothes, because your trousers will get dirty and bring plenty of water.

Tour guide brought the best out of a simple hike. Giving us valuable information regarding plants and history of surroundings as well as taking is to experience the best views. An amazing experience indeed.

Went for an overnight camping trip with Kevin on top of Corps de Garde and we had a blast. He is a true passionate of nature and knows his stuff very well. The hike was sporty but fun and fulfilling. And the sunrise we witness early morning was spectacular, for a lack of a better word. I wholly recommend Kevin for all your off road adventures around the island.
