The
first
time
we
visited
the
island
in
2019,
we
went
to
Salt
Cafe
twice,
it
was
that
good.
Coming
back
to
Barbados,
we
knew
we
had
to
go
to
Salt
again.
The
food
did
not
disappoint.
We
had
the
Truffle
fries
and
Plantain
Tostones
to
start.
Both
were
delicious!
My
daughter
doesn't
like
truffles,
but
since
the
truffle
oil
was
in
the
mayo
and
not
the
fries,
she
was
able
to
enjoy
the
parmesan
fries
as
well.
For
mains,
we
got
the
Tuna
Poke
Bowl,
the
Lamb
Shank
and
the
Slow
Roasted
Pork
Baos.
The
Tuna
Poke
Bowl
was
as
good
as
I
remembered
it
from
2019.
The
Lamb
shank
was
tender
and
literally
fell
off
the
bone.
The
Baos....they
made
my
19
year
old
daughter
cry,
they
were
that
good.
She's
been
to
restaurants
by
the
likes
of
Gordon
Ramsay,
Morimoto
and
Nobu,
but
she
said
that
after
having
the
Baos,
Salt
Cafe
is
her
favorite
restaurant
of
all
time.
Oh
and
the
drinks
were
delicious
as
well.
The
Rum
Sour
was
very
generous
on
the
rum
and
very
tasty,
according
to
my
husband.
We
got
the
Dulce
de
Leche
Flan
to
go.
Oh
my
God,
that
is
by
far
one
of
the
best
desserts
I
have
ever
had.
All
in
all,
the
food
and
drinks
were
delicious.
We
did
feel
that
the
service
wasn't
as
great
as
it
was
the
last
times
we'd
been
there.
We
kind
of
felt
like
we
were
rushed
to
eat
and
get
out.
The
staff
didn't
seem
like
they
were
thrilled
to
be
working
that
night.
Still,
my
kid
wants
to
go
back
one
more
time
before
we
go
home.
Go
for
the
food!
It's
wonderful!
UPDATE:
We
came
back
two
nights
later
upon
request
from
my
kid.
There's
nothing
better
than
seeing
your
kid
in
their
food
induced
happy
place.
This
time
I
had
the
chicken
wings
with
the
sweet
sesame
sauce
and
we
made
room
for
dessert
(the
flan).
Service
was
wonderful
tonight
and
we
really
enjoyed
our
meal!
