This was simply one of the best trips we took during our vacation! We arrived to find a friendly crew who immediately offered drinks and fantastic food upon arrival. After a brief safety meeting, we started our trip with a swim with turtles and an array of fish. We snorkeled numerous wrecks and were able to see numerous turtles and fish during our dives. One of the crew members was in the water with us at all times. He made sure that the smaller, less stronger swimmers were always taken care of and even provided them with help when they struggled. This was impressive! During the sailing portion, the deck crew was very attentive and kept everyone full of drinks and food the entire time. The scenery was incredible and the WHOLE crew was incredible and friendly. I saw numerous other boats which were packed to the gills. They looked very uncomfortable. This boat comfortably had 12-15 passengers on the entire boat and it was perfect. If you are looking for the ultimate in taking care of the customer, Calabaza Sailing Cruises is the best.

Perfectly sized catamaran; not too big not too small. Good food and friendly crew. Having seen the other boats while out on our trip, I would highly recommend choosing this one if you want a relaxed atmosphere with room to lounge but not too many passengers crowding the deck.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. The captain and his crew were friendly yet professional and very knowledgeable on the island. The catamaran itself was spotless and a generous amount of time was allotted to snorkelling on the shipwrecks. Delicious appetizers and lunch were served and the open bar with a wide choice of drinks available. What we liked most was the small amount of guests making it more intimate with personalized service. Don & Diana.

Really excellent day on a beautiful boat. The crew were fantastic and in my opinion the smaller group size (less than 12) made it feel like an exclusive trip rather than mass production which seems to be the case on some of the other boats. We saw turtles, wrecks and hundreds of beautiful fish. The food was superb and they even catered brilliantly for my sons food allergies (we warned them in advance). Drinks seemed to be unlimited and were good quality. The crew acted as waiters so we could all relax at the front of the boat on the return journey. Unlike some trips the crew were also keen to actually sail rather than just motor. (Which is kind of the point of a sailing boat). There was a slight problem with our booking, not their fault, but communication and customer service was spot on. Would definitely recommend Calablaza.

This was my husband and I along with friends second visit to this beautiful island paradise. We sailed with Calabaza on our first visit and enjoyed the experience so much we booked another sunset snorkeling cruise for Valentines Day. We love the maximum of 12 guests. Captain Chad and his crew were super attentive and the food delicious and plentiful. We stopped in Carlisle Bay where we got to see turtles, a Spotted Eagle Ray, a couple of ship wrecks and lots of beautiful colorful fish. The cruise into the sunset was spectacular. Would do this again and again.

What a day. First Calabaza came and picked us up. We were driven to the marina and we just walked onto the catamaran. We did the lunch cruise for adults only and I will 100% recommend! Just look at this thing. You can relax on the from nets and enjoy the sun and ocean spray or you can sit in the covered back and snack and drink. This was just the best little cruise ever. The crew knew their stuff and were just the most friendly and you could eat and drink whatever you wanted. I haven't even gotten to the great dives they did and the way they showed everyone what to do. The boat was great, the crew was great, our fellow guests were great. The whole day was just fantastic. Just looking at the other reviews and you have to know this might be THE BEST group out here for catamaran cruises. All 5 star reviews. This is seriously impressive. May 2019

Wow - what an amazing experience - loved every second - great team, great food and drink! More importantly they took great care so whether you feel confident in the water or not they will support you all the way. Fabulous seeing turtles, ship wrecks and all the beautiful fish - pictures and words don't do it justice. Thank you Chad and your amazing team ❤️❤️❤️

We had an amazing snorkeling and cruising experience with Calabaza. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The group was small, the food was delicious and the snorkeling was awesome. The crew was funny, engaging and knowledgeable. Probably the best cruising company on the island.

Best boat trip we’ve ever been on. Calabaza staff were so attentive & friendly. Ample snacks and drinks! Snorkelling was incredible especially when we saw the turtles (they came right upto us!) & sunset views were out of this world, highly recommend the sunset trip! Only 10 of us as guests so really intimate, felt very special

What an amazing time! We did the afternoon cruise and were able to get some pretty amazing sunset pictures. The crew (Lee & Mikey) were exceptionally great and so very kind! They took take care of us, always making sure we had a drink in hand and plenty of food to eat. The food was very good and there we r e lots of options. I didnt have to eat dinner that evening,. Richard our skipper had a great sense of humor; they all made the day a lot of fun. And, we saw turtles!!!

First time snorkeling for me. They got me oriented quickly and we had great encounters with the turtles and a wide variety of colorful fish while we explored the shipwrecks. The crew kept us all well-fed (and with plenty of drinks)!

This is a great trip. Beautiful boat and nice crew. Fun snorkel trip with little stress. When they say snacks, its way more than snacks. Great food and lots of drinks. It was the highlight of our 7 days in Barbados. Highly recommend.

These three guys here were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! As a manager I am totally aware that I am only as good as my team and as a business owner your staff are your best assets. These three gentlemen are a real asset to the Calabazza; nothing was too much. They were fun, lively and attentive ABOVE and BEYOND. Nothing seemed too much trouble. My glass was never empty and every request was granted promptly. My elderly mother was attended to like a queen. We were on board the Calabazza on our last visit to Barbados, nearly 10 years ago. We enjoyed it so much we sort them out again this visit. As much as we enjoyed our last trip, this trip far exceeded our last! Thoroughly enjoyed. I hope the effort these men put into their work is reflected in their next pay rise! ☺️ THANK YOU guys for a GREAT day. See you again soon 😊

Great cruise, only 6 of us so almost personal attendant each! Delicious snacks kept appearing, open bar, snorkelling over wreck, and turtles, returning to the harbour under sail after sunset.Everyone should do this.

This was a 10/10 excursion. I’m not someone who likes false enthusiasm or experiences - and Chad, Rommel and James provided an incredibly genuine, happy, interesting and relaxing 5 hour tour. I would do this tour every trip - or every day, to be honest. The snorkelling sites are well worth it on their own, but the entire tour of itself would be my #1 recommendation if you’re visiting Barbados. Thanks for a wonderful day!

We booked the Sunset-Trip for our last day on Barbados and it was a very relaxing afternoon with lots of drinks and snacks. Two stops to snorkel with turtles, a lot of fish and wreck could be spotted. The Crew really cared, it was a pleasure! Thank you very much! Martin & Snjezana

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food and drink were plentiful (maybe too plentiful 😬)… The guys on board were great fun and provided a wonderful morning on the seas …. We had heard mixed reports on other cruises….. I would recommend anyone browsing to look no further and book

Well worth the extra money for a catamaran with maximum 12 people. More intimate, relaxed and enjoyable. We even got to go whale watching for the first time in my life - wow❕ and ❗ double wow. Thanks Captain Richard.

The best excursion we have been on in any Caribbean islands. The small atmosphere (10 guests), the crew of Fab, Shane, and Danny, and food and drinks were great! The other vacationers on the cruise were so fun as well. We really lucked out! HIGHLY recommend if you like a small, more inmate setting!

Fantastic trip while in Barbados!!! Gina and her crew are first class, excellent customer service, ensuring a memorable day! Lovely food, great drinks. Snorkel with the turtles and over the wrecks. Best in Barbados!! We have taken this trip many times...book it...you will love it!!

We had a really great experience sailing with Calabaza. The crew members James and Fabien were incredibly attentive and friendly. They always tried to make sure we had drinks and food, and that we had a wonderful time. We sailed to the NW side of Barbados and saw quite a few turtles too. Definitely worth paying the extra to avoid joining a similar sailing boat but with over 30 drunken people on board.

Such a great crew & trip. Looked after so well. Food was delicious with snacks being served in-between a light breakfast & delicious lunch. Drinks were premium & plentiful. Very lucky to swim with 2 turtles & see sting-rays. Sunglasses dropped in sea on return that Diego manage to to retrieve. Will definitely be up for this trip again.

Oh my, did we choose the right sail! We had a family of 10 who booked a private afternoon snorkel/sunset sail. The crew was professional, happy and easy to work with. The maintenance of the boat was outstanding! We know how hard it is to keep a boat maintained and they get 5+Starts in this department. Our only regret is we did not do the research earlier to know they took the snorkelers to the same place we could access via the shore and where all the other catamarans took snorkelers. As we pulled up we all just gagged at getting into the water with tons of other boats and snorkelers. We spoke with the captain and asked if he knew somewhere else we could go where there were no crowds - he cheerfully chose a different location. Had we asked at the beginning we would have had a bit better sail. But . .. that is on us for not doing our research. Otherwise, the food was amazing - they even brought delicious vegetarian options as 1/2 of the group were vegetarians! So o o o appreciated! We would happily choose them again! Thank you for an amazing family memory we will remember for years.

Brilliant trip experiencing the beautiful island of Barbados from the ocean! With just 12 guests on board, Calabaza is luxury epitomised — the best way to enjoy the island.
