Living at The Larking has changed my views of apartment living in the BEST way! I’ve lived in apartments in NYC, CA, TN, MA, and now here, and it’s been such a wonderful experience. Moved in here in March 2023. The maintenance staff (Derrick, Dan) are so friendly and helpful. The front desk reception (Dale specifically), always has a smile on! The management team and leasing team (Jarred, AJ, Jackie) - all of them are great at their jobs and always engage with such warmth. It’s been so refreshing compared to other apartments that I’ve lived in, including in North Loop area, which was just terribly managed and all around a mistake so we left when the lease was up!… I love the community spaces here - the gym has a ballet barre which I use often, and the sauna gets really hot! It’s a beautiful property with friendly, diverse neighbors, and the shared workspaces are ideal for working from home. It’s peaceful to come home to my apartment itself. So much natural light and beautiful views of the city. The top floor on 16th is also beautifully decorated/staged. My mom mentioned a ping pong table should be added and they put one in the following week! There’s breakfast offered on Tuesdays. Coffee machine provides yummy coffee and hot chocolate. I could go on and on - truly the best staff and place I’ve lived in so long, and I’m grateful to have found a home for my mom and me that we both love. I’m enjoying my time at The Larking. If you're seeking a complex that is safe, beautifully decorated, and full of amenities .. look no further. The building is thoughtfully furnished and designed to be modern and chic. The rooftop pool is the pièce de résistance. Daily housekeeping makes sure that the shared spaces are kept sparkling. In addition to the rooftop, the property also provides: 24 hour security, private underground parking, a pet grooming area, gym, sauna, Luxer Room, working spaces, a golf simulator, and a dog run. I've never felt more at home in Minneapolis than I do at the Larking. You're able to reserve the freight elevator on your move in day, which makes the process easy and simple. The staff go above and beyond to make your experience here nothing less than exceptional.

A long overdue review. I moved here in May and since then, have had nothing short of an outstanding experience. For reference, I have moved apartments nearly every other year for the past 8 years for work - management here blows every other place out of the water. I largely signed for the new building and top of the line amenities, but feel confident I will renew my lease again for the people. Work orders are addressed within 1 business day and the team has not only helped me mount my TV (free of charge), fixed the problem of bright lights outside my apartment at night, fixed my freezer when it froze over after I left it open by accident, entirely replaced under-sink cabinet panels that had some water damage of unclear origin, etc. When there were flies in the garbage room, the next day I saw people pressure washing the entire room - since then, there have been no bugs. The responsive time and effort is truly impressive. Shout out to Derek and Dan. Cleaning staff keep the common areas default sparkling at all times. Building-hosted events are actually a blast with catered food, drinks, DJs, and as a result of them I actually feel like I have met many resident friends and have a sense of community. The golf simulator room, which is great for hosting parties is free to reserve as well. The neighborhood/area itself is still growing, but 24 hour security/desk staff bring peace of mind and I have never felt unsafe walking my dog around the building block. For those with dogs, the dog run is simply one of the best I had seen on any apartment tour and there is a strong dog community too as a result of all the people I've meet when going down with our pets. Jarred initially gave my tour, was very professional yet fun to work, and the Larking has met /exceeded every expectation since. Check it out, you won't be disappointed :)

Currently moved in a week ago and already loving everything the Larking has to offer. A HUGE shout out to Jackie- as she was such a huge help when applying, and was able to walk us through all the applicable steps required for being considered. The two men for maintenance came very quick when we inquired about hanging up shelving in our laundry closest (that didn’t come set up with the apartment). Can’t wait to experience more here :). I moved in not long ago, so I don't have much to add about living at The Larking just yet. However, I really do appreciate how helpful the staff at the leasing office have been in promptly answering my more technical questions prior to my application and move-in. Jarred really helped get the ball rolling, and his attentiveness is absolutely stellar; he made clear what was needed throughout, so I wasn't missing anything by the time I completed the move-in process. I'll definitely update my review for the coming year, but so far everything has been great, and I highly recommend it. The place is clean and accommodating, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the amenities are plentiful and of high quality.

Best experience I’ve had moving in by far! Jackie R. helped me out a ton and answered all of my follow up questions super quick after moving in which made the entire process easier. Amazing service by her and the maintenance crew. :)

Moved from Texas to Minneapolis just 2 days ago. During that process, Jackie, Aj and Lexi have really made this easy. Plus for what you get here for the price is AMAZING! The maintenance guys are great and are on stand by. In only 5 hours they came in a fixed my dryer. Everyone is polite but not that whole “fake” polite. A lot of amenities that you wouldn’t get in Texas unless if it was a $4000 a month place. Best example is an underground parking spot with double the security for personal spots! So there’s a lot of added security too as well. It’s a great place to live in a good,quiet,decent city. Barely any homeless people, not a lot of traffic, easy to get around as well.

I have submitted 2 maintenance requests since living at the Larking for a few weeks, both were completed in less than 24 hours. The maintenance guys are quick, polite, and great at what they do!
