This local family-owned restaurant packs a punch. The flavor and texture was outstanding. The food came out piping hot, fresh. It was great 👍🏽 Wings were a bit small however the taste was excellent. Crab rangoons, crispy and crunchy. 8.4/10 on the apps. Main dish was fantastic, forgot the name but I'd give it 9.1/10. The service was extremely quick as well. The refills were consistent and timely, I loved it. A hidden gem.

This place is goooood. Ordered the Curry Tam Yam with chive cakes. Never had chive cakes before, but thoroughly enjoyed them! Food came quickly and had large portions. Will definitely need to go back.

U dont come here for the atmosphere. U come for the food. Prices are reasonable and the menu is huge. I was not familiar with most of the Cambodian dishes but the one i did get was OK, a tasty pork dish heavily flavored with fish sauce and lemongrass. the papaya salad was the typical isaan style with crab and lots of peppers and fish sauce. Taste just like the ones I make. The chicken wings although tasty was expensive. the wings were tiny, it almost looked like the wings they removed from the whole chickens that they use for other dishes.

Search “Thy Chea” on YouTube for video review. Everything good except food was really super sweet. I left really early even when not busy. I wish I stayed longer. Smaller portions charging less would make visit more eating.

Got #22 and soy milk. The #22 was not the best - too much liquid at the bottom. The egg roll was fantastic though. I just wish they gave me more sauce options for my bowl. It's very similar to bun cha gio (Vietnamese). I also wanted something authentically Cambodian and I felt like the server was able to assist me well with finding a dish.

Quaint Cambodian restaurant with homestyle food and "homestyle" service. Service was straightforward, and food came out quickly. We had the Kor Koo noodle soup, Chha Mekatain with Curry Sauce and the Cambodian iced tea. Flavor was overall slightly sweet but comforting. Would definitely visit again to try more of the extensive menu.

Food: A+ Service: A- Atmosphere: B- The food and service was great. Aside from that, I did noticed some flies were lingering around. While I was there there was a group of obnoxious guys seated not too far from me that was a bit loud and rude. Then again I was dining in a rougher area of the neighborhood so I'm not going to knock this against the restaurant. Overall my experience at Cheng Heng Restaurant was decent and I enjoyed my time there. I'm not sure if I'll be returning anytime soon, but I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking to satisfy your Southeast Asian cravings.

Casual, relaxed atmosphere for delicious Cambodian food. I am vegan and got #17 Chha Kroeng with tofu, but my husband always gets the chicken rice plate and swears by it. They also have tasty donuts and other fried sweets like sesame balls.

Accidentally stumbled upon this place and I can't wait to come back. Huge selection of dishes I don't see elsewhere. What I had was so flavorful, cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. Well worth the money. I also loved all the plants 🪴 place was very clean as well including the restrooms.

Hands down the best restaurant in the twin cities. Jokes on all you people paying top dollar for fancy pan Asian places—Cheng Heng's food is ten times better. Get the chive cakes, the vietnamese crepe, the plear salad, the roast chicken, the massaman curry.... even the simplest noodle dish is incredible. EVERYTHING IS GOOD.

After mirror of korea changed there pork belly meat supplier I came here and they have a sign explaining their price increase to keep their quality the same. I was instantly in love the best eastern Asian food in Minnesota. I will return every time I come back to my home

Very affordable and good food! The chha than hung was especially good (large portion and tasty lotus flower). The taro soup was also good, very creamy and sweet.
