My first experience with dental implants was a huge success, in the capable hands of Dr. Yu. From his friendly and efficient office staff to his surgical team, I was made to feel special and that the process would go smoothly. Dr. Yu includes you in the plan, discusses your special needs, and goes over the post-op regimen very thoroughly. The office has the newest in X-ray technology as well. The surgical team functioned like a finely-tuned orchestra. As a holistic patient, I got the zirconium implants and I was set-up with an array of naturopathic products which have no side effects. Dr.Yu called me after surgery to check on my recovery (the same day of my surgery.) His practice is a first-class operation. You don't want to trust just anyone for this delicate procedure. Dr. Yu is simply the best!

The whole experience here from the start with Jessica at the front desk prior to the appointment until being at the appointment with Tiana and Dr. Yu was a 10/10. I have been to several specialists prior to this with no relief. For the first time in a very long time, I walked out of this office in peace and relief. Dr. Yu has the very best bed side manner explaining things very well. You feel like a human being here. Their service is top notch. Dr. Yu is one of those very rare breeds with a genuine caring disposition. Jessica was a pivotal part in this with communication and the utmost empathy and care. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Yu.

Dr. Yu and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend them. I had an extremely painful tooth infection that resulted from a different dentist visit and Jessica was able to get me in the same day I called because of the emergency, which I was so relieved and grateful for. I've had a couple zirconium implants done by Dr. Yu and drive 2 1/2 hours to see him because he is not only so highly trained and knowledgable when it comes to treatment but he and his staff are also considerate and make you feel really cared for. Snow and Leanne are always kind when speaking or helping me and I'm sure the other staff that I haven't had interactions with are the same. Dr. Yu is also the only doctor I've ever received a followup call the next day from to see how I was doing after a procedure. I don't usually write reviews but I took for granted before how great of a doctor that Dr. Yu is, which is why I had to write this review for anyone who is looking for a great and trustworthy periodontist to see. I'm very grateful to him and his staff and can't say enough wonderful things about them.

I had a wonderful experience with Tampa Bay Dental Implants & Periodontics. The entire staff, starting with the front desk, was very professional, great communication as well. Most importantly, I was impressed by Dr Yu's skill, he is a very competent doctor. I had an extraction and two implants done, I was terrified of the day, but everything went so well. At all times during the procedure I knew I was in good hands.

I was referred to a Periodontist for a possible crown lengthening procedure. I choose this office because of the holistic care provided and Dr Yu’s reputation as a top periodontist in the area. Both he and his staff (especially Snow) made me feel very comfortable during the consult and discussed ceramic implants as well. They are extremely knowledgable and personable! I would 100% recommend this office!!

Dr Yu is Up-to-date on new procedures. He is impeccable in his work. His hygienist does a beautiful job. She is aware of new materials to prevent the loss of teeth. The girls in the office are kind and efficient. It’s a pleasure to visit the office.

Dr. Yu and his staff are extremely professional and compassionate. I felt very comfortable from my first visit and throughout the LANAP surgery I received. Dr. Yu called me himself after the procedure to check on me. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Yu and his staff for any periodontal procedures along with any other services they offer.

So far all is good. I had 3 dental implants. The doctor and his staff have been great. I experienced very little pain. Now the healing begins. I will post any updates. An update to my earlier post. I had the implant surgery in August. 3 implants and a sinus lift. Today is November 1. I returned for a healing evaluation and dental cleaning. Dr U said I am healing great and in mid December I can be seen for the crowns. Dr U is amazing and his staff are kind and caring. I am so happy someone referred me to Dr U.
