(Visit - 4 months ago) The vegan Mac n cheese, and their African almond soup is soooo good. Friendly and quick service. (Visit - 7/22/18) Went back today and had the quinoa meatloaf, vegan mac n cheese, pineapple mint juice, and bread pudding. As stated in my previous comment, the vegan mac n cheese is absolutely delicious. The quinoa meatloaf was amazing. Very savory. The pineapple mint juice was a perfect mix of sweet and minty. The bread pudding topped off my visit. Definitely will be coming back.

The food was delicious! The mac n cheese, spinach pie and kale salad were so good I practically licked my plate!! And the sweet potato dessert was phenomenal. Very satisfied customer.

I went to Rays Vegan Soul for the first time earlier today and it exceeded my expectations! Really good service and a faithful representation of soul food; it was like my auntie’s cooking but vegan. I got the jerk mac, along with the vegan Turkey meatloaf and mash. Strong recommend, I can’t wait for the hours to expand more hopefully some time in the future.

Amazing energy, food, and service!!!! Ok so I have to tell you about Soul Food Sunday’s yes!!!!!!! Ray himself was there and was so nice and welcoming! The staff were also super friendly and helpful. There was no pretentiousness, they just wanted you to enjoy your food and your time! I was so happy to see someone doing vegan soulfood! The philly cheese steak was amazing, as well as the jerk mac and the pulled Jack fruit sandwich (the BBQ sauce was yum!).

First time trying Rays, wow!!! Everything I ordered for my family was so delicious. You can tell the passion is there to make this food as good as it is. Very cool people!! I highly recommend

Best food ever! So happy to have this in St. Pete! I stock up on vegan meals for the week! I grew up in the south so I can attest that this tastes just like really good southern food but somehow without all of the bad stuff! Chef Ray really is amazing with food!

Ray's food is always delicious I recommend you try him. Flavor filled vegan soul food is his specialty. His Mac n cheese is next to none.

Food was so good! Especially the Mac and cheese. So creamy and nooshy! Love it! Edited to add I have been here a few times now and have not had a bad meal yet. He is normally only open between 12 and 4pm on Sundays in front of the boxing club outside. Roll through!

I go every Sunday to get meals. Everything is always really good. I'm not Vegan but trying to eat healthier, these meals help a lot.

Ray has always been an outstanding person. His food has always been great. But this vegan food he's created, has topped it! Got my grands craving it. 🙌🏽

A MA ZING food!! Cooked with love and a passion for vegan food. I ate my meal with gratitude. My partner and I couldn’t choose from all of the amazing vegan options, so we got everything! 😁 Ray is awesome and I highly recommend this to anyone - vegan or not! I’ll be back when I can 🙏✨

The Sunday menu has the vegan country fried steak with mashed potatoes and collard greens and was very delicious and is all that comfort food should be. The banana pudding and pound cake had a good flavor and texture. The parking lot dining wasn't what was expected however the staff was very kind and made it work.

My husband and I are at Rays recently for the first time. I wasn't expecting it to be a pop up eatery because the pictures on the website looks like a restaurant. My husband liked the food. It could have been a little warmer in temperature considering they were just setting up. They set up a table with chairs to eat outside. They do accept CC. We had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, greens, country fried chicken patty, banana pudding made with ginger snaps I think and pound cake.

The food was phenomenal I had the Turkey chili & bbq pulled pork, my 2 year old daughter even loves it !! Thank you so much Mr Ray, you were very kind & helpful. The food is immaculate and I’ll most definitely be back for me of this amazing food! Its truly a blessing to be able to eat food made with love❤️

Ray has helped my husband and I survive veganism! We drive from Tampa to St Pete for over a year now. We’ve also been able to share his food with many family members. The food is amazing!!

The food is freshly made and super yummy containing 0 allergens: no soy, no gluten, no peanuts, no dairy, no corn, no GMOs.... Highly recommend it and the chef is a beautiful soul

Great vegan fare for a filling balanced meal. The best vegan shepherds pie I’ve ever had hands down.
