Simply Wow. The incredible foods, the immaculate serving and displays are only surpassed by the quality of the staff. The explosion of flavors and aromas made the culinary adventure at our event a complete & total success. Every dish, every flavor - simply Wow. Our diverse wedding covered the gamut of Vegans to Carnivores all with diverse cultural backgrounds. Chef Lisa and the team at A Fresh Connection took the challenge and surpassed this perfectionist’s expectations entirely. Just call them - then stop by the cafe and make them feed you. You too will then have the same out of body experience from the first taste to the last.

Overcooked. Bland. Inedible. These adjectives best describe what was served by Fresh Connections Catering for my sons wedding on April 29,2022. I would have posted sooner but Lisa was" too busy " these past two weeks to return my call. The ham was overcooked almost to a jerky type of texture. The deviled eggs had absolutely NO flavor. And the vegetable dip was the consistency of ice cream. Frozen ice cream. Impossible to dip anything. Not all Fresh Connections Catering offerings was less than good. The garlic smashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese and steamed vegetables were fine. Wonderful if you are a vegetarian. When Lisa finally returned my call she was very callous with me. She was upset because, according to her, I trashed Fresh Connections Catering on-line. Which was not true. This is the first time I have said anything on-line concerning her business. Now Lisa is going to say she had some problems with her Fresh Connections Catering business,and she was short staffed. I am not insensitive about her misfortunes, but next time return my money. I’m certain Dominos could have fed our 25 guests for much less than the $1200 I paid Fresh Connections Catering. Oxymoron: contradictory words. military intelligence, airline food, honest politician, and Chef Lisa.

We used Fresh Connection to cater 3 dinners of about 35 people for our group. They put together a menu for all 3 nights with a lot of variety, based on our requirements (vegetarian and vegan items). The food was fresh, healthy, and delicious. Our guests were well fed and very satisfied--we received many compliments on the food. Their team is very professional with good communication. Delivery and setup went without a hitch and they arrived exactly on schedule each night. We will be using them again and we highly recommend this company!

From the moment we started conversation with Susie and David I knew something was different about this catering company. Planning a wedding can be very hectic and stressful but Susie and her Team made the process enjoyable and allowed us to focus on other areas of the planning process. To Susie, she worked around our busy schedules in planning our menu and scheduling the tasting as we live 4 hours away from Clearwater where the Wedding was being held. The opportunity to meet Chef Doug and the food planning team during our meal choice tasting was a joy and helped reassure we had made the right choices. Thank you again Doug for the delicious meal. To Rene, the logistics coordinator. Wow, what an amazing talent and pleasure to work with. Her knowledge and coordination of the entire buffet setup and communication with the service team was seamless. Rene is your go to with any questions or rental needs you may have for your special event. To Meg, and her team of Chris, Jessica and Kelly. You couldn't have been more kind, helpful and professional throughout the night. They arrived on time and took care of everything as promised from setup, meal service, cake cutting, cleanup and even packaging up the leftovers. The venue was at a private residence and the team left the service area and kitchen spotless. We really cannot thank them enough for the professionalism, kindness and smiles they provided to our guests. The team was very attentive and really felt more like part of our family and friends than a catering team. Thank you again for your amazing service. You have made a lasting impression of top notch service to many of our family, friends and guests.

We were pleased to work with A Fresh Connection for the second year in a row on our annual awards luncheon at the St. Pete Coliseum. The team was efficient to work with throughout; set up and service went beautifully; and our guests enjoyed their meals. They were a trustworthy and reliable partner in our signature event of the year.

A 10 on a scale of 5! Hired for a 90th birthday celebration in our home. We couldn't have been more impressed with the professionalism, the quality of the food, the presentation and the service throughout the evening. From initial phone call, Kim, the event coordinator worked with us to ensure everything was handled: the food, bar tender, rentals of tables, linens, flatware dishware, etc. Didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything because they took care of it all. You would never know they were here when they left. Everyone had a wonderful time and raved about the food, service and staff. Thank you!! Highly recommend!!

We chose A Fresh Connection Catering for a graduation celebration dinner with bar and brunch the following day. WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! All of the food was amazing! The Swedish Meatballs were one of the most raved about food items and brunch was amazing with a delicious omelet station. David and Meg were extraordinary and ensured the bar was stocked and all drinks were made delicious for the event and Chris and Kris went above and beyond to ensure all guest were accommodated in any way possible. Rene was great to work with on planning and logistics and Susie and the rest of the team we so great with coming up with the best ideas to make the event extra special in celebrating our Marine Biology graduate! We would highly recommend this team to anyone in need of a fantastic catered experience! Thank you all so much for such a wonderful event!

This company is fabulous. They catered our community Thanksgiving dinner for 350. Food was delicious, service was awesome. Great people to work with! I have already booked them for next year!

We ordered 2 individual Thanksgiving meals and they were delightful! Turkey was tender and we had plenty! Rolls were delicious. I took one star off because there wasn't quite enough cranberry or gravy. But nicely done! I would order again!

We used a fresh connection for our wedding reception, and they were fantastic! All of the food was excellent, and the grazing table was beautiful! Our guests absolutely loved the portobello wellington.

Super cute cafe with DELICIOUS pastries and bakery items. Stop in to sample if you don’t believe me. These guys will cater to you annnnnd your event! Completely custom, or choose from their menu; whatever you do they will WOW your guests. A local gem for sure.

The whole team at Fresh Connection was OUTSTANDING. They catered for our film, feeding upwards of 60-70 people twice a day for weeks and never missed a beat. Always on time, dietary restrictions were always taken into consideration for our crew, and they were so responsive in all of our communications. We feel so lucky to have found them and can’t recommend them highly enough. The food is fresh and delicious, hearty and flavorful. Such a win for our cast and crew!

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. My fiancé and I hired them a year ago to cater our wedding, the chef and event coordinator we started out with were absolutely incredible- amazing food and friendly people! They had us so impressed we didn’t even consider other caterers and booked them the day of the tasting. Now we are 2 weeks away from our wedding and we couldn’t get anyone to respond to us regarding finalizing the details and payment after multiple attempts so we finally decided to go in person- they never even had us on their calendar or kept any form of record of the deposit we paid to finalize the booking a YEAR in advance. It was an absolute nightmare, their only explanation was that they had a complete change in staff throughout that period due to covid. Unprofessional, would not recommend!

I'm giving this catering company a 5star review because they were very accommodating. I had a few issues with a employee who is no longer with them and they made up for it. Now, syvett was amazing she went over and beyond her job duties always kept communication open and worked hard with a smile. The food was amazing my guest loved it as well! If you are looking for a inexpensive luxury dining experience in st.petersburg this is the place! They brought class and fine dining to my beach wedding reception! I booked with them on 2/22/22 at sunset beach!

We debated for the longest time if we should give 2 or 3 stars overall since we LOVED our wedding, but unfortunately A Fresh Connection dropped the ball when it came to their execution of our event. From day one we were upfront about what we wanted for our wedding reception. We had a micro, destination wedding with what ended up being less than 20 people total. We made it very clear from the beginning about my onion allergy and about the food we required for our menu. We were told things could be made from scratch without onion. It had also been noted all over our invoice. My allergy was the primary topic of conversation throughout the entirety of our communication with A Fresh Connection. Yet, the day of our reception they asked who exactly had the allergy... Key elements were missing from the salad and a special side was left off my plate. We had to ask someone to get Chef Lisa for us so we could ask why. Nothing had been disclosed to us before our wedding reception. She proceeded to tell us there were trace amounts of onion in the side. I had to ask her to bring it over anyway. I took a chance in eating just a little bit so I could enjoy the menu we had established. I didn't understand how such a mistake could be made when we were so direct about my allergy and told things could be made from scratch. For example, the mini spanakopita appetizer had been made without onion, so why wouldn't the same be applied to the rest of the meal? We found out the onion element applied to one missing ingredient from the salad. The other missing elements had simply been forgotten. Even worse, entrees were served cold, which should have never happened. Our bartender Matt also did not serve the non-alcoholic beverages for our guests who could not have alcohol. At the end of the night, Matt made his way around the room and very abruptly started tossing things in the trash. My husband actually had to say something to him to try and get him to stop. Two important, religious related boxes went missing. Both were important, but one in particular had been customized to house our religious item, so we've been looking for it ever since. Matt also bickered with my husband how none of the chairs had to be folded and put on top of the tables. Yet, that's what the venue coordinator had told my husband during the walk through. We ended up having to do it ourselves because Matt just left without telling us. All of the staff belonging to A Fresh Connection left without a word or even telling us where the leftovers were. Our experience was extremely bittersweet.
