This place is literally one of my new favorite places to go. There are sooooooo many dogs. From very relaxed sit at your feet, to run around and trample everyone, to the I'm going to mosey at my own pace. Your dog will find their crowd and hang with them. Our dog is a big huge baby, and will lay down if anyone sniffs him wrong but here he doesn't. He really enjoys all the dogs and near the end of the night he enjoys laying around our feet after running a ton. They have cheap drinks, for downtown st pete, that are decently strong for the price. They have PLENTY of human seating for you, from benches, tables, high tops, bar seating and some low tables inside. Please realize that means the dogs can and will join you in your seating. They do have a food truck outside, it is listed on their website what it is and you can easily find the menu. It rotates and we have never had any issue with any of the ones we have tried. They do have staff with water bottles if a dog is out of hand, if that staff isn't present the water bottles still are. They have water dishes scattered around for the pups as well. It is definitely a DOG BAR so if your not used to going to a dog park, or any place with free roaming dogs then you are going to be upset. Which appears to be the case in some of the lower star reviews. This place is made for the dogs, humans are the second hand here.

Had a fantastic experience at Dog Bar for the first time. Met some great people and a huge variety of dogs! If you're looking for a natural serotonin boost, stop and check them out! They had a delicious food truck posted outside as well.

This place is AWESOME! If you're traveling or otherwise need a puppy fix, this is the place to go! Great entertainment, and the staff does well making sure everyone plays nicely.

This is a brilliant concept that is well executed. It's a dog park with a bar. What could be better than this? We took our little terrier Maddy and our wonderful mom too. She doesn't get out as much as she used to but she loved it! Dogs everywhere and drinks too. We played a bit of trivia and met nice people in a cool part of town. What's not to like?

Went with the girlfriend's family and all their dogs and it was just absolutely wonderful! The people running it are super nice and the drinks were phenomenal and dog themed so that was cool. They're great at handling the dogs and it was just overall fun!

We've been coming to the dog bar for the last five or six years and always have a good time. The dogs are happy and having fun splashing and interacting while dog Mom and Dad enjoy an adult beverage. It's even more fun after a Bark in the Park after the Rays game!

Great local bar where you can bring your dog and have freedom to have them enjoy a nice evening together. It is a true local gem with a variety of different menu options help you find what you need. They have a wide open area for the dogs. If you are a native of the area and have not been I highly recommend it.

For years, I have joked with friends about a bar that dogs can chill. The Dog Bar is great. The staff is friendly, and the puppers are fluffy. If you bring your doggos, they have the trap gates like most dog parks with a whole section for the dogs. They look out, put out ice for the dogs, and create a genuinely excellent environment. If you are in the area, kick your feet up and love on some puppers.

You go here for your dogs and the atmosphere. My wife and I took our dog for her 2nd Birthday. We are from out of town, but would go back. The food is a food truck. Idk if it changes or is the same food truck, but it was good. It was a bit expensive for a food truck. A nice concept. I'd open on where I live.

First time visiting the dog bar with Cooper. $7 entry fee upon arrival and need to register your dog....we did on line ahead of time. Cooper had fun running around in this enclosed area jumping in the various pools, climbing and socializing with both dogs and humans. 😀 There is a drink menu and I had the zoomie.....really tasty. Few tv screens with the football games on. Prices reasonable.

This place is so much fun! Especially if you have a big dog. They do have a small dog area but it's usually pretty empty. Second time we came there were so many large dogs there that we didn't feel comfortable letting our pup play. Grab a drink and bring your best friend with you! What a great concept. Dogs having fun, people having fun! They have foam party for dogs, and special events like $1 entry for small dog days, or puppy days, or special breed day. Other than that, it's $7. You do have to show your dog Vaccination records before your pet can join the party, you can do it by registering in advance on their website. I believe your dog also has to be neutered if over 1 year old. Small dog area could use a new puppy tub, all they had was broken.

If you are a dog lover, this place is heaven! Fred and his entire staff have created a unique happy place for dogs and dog owners! Friendly staff, delish affordable drinks, large offleash dog area with misters and kiddie pools with ice to keep pups cool, lots of tvs for football and sporting events. The Cheers of St Pete! Hands down our favorite hang out.

Great casual atmosphere with a relaxed, pup-loving crowd. Very clean and monitored by staff and pup parents. Our first visit with many yet to come!

We are new to town and have been hearing about this place non stop! We are beyond happy we found this bar. It is absolutely amazing. My Twila girl had the best time yesterday. We can’t wait to come here regularly . 🐾☀️🐶

10/10 Recommend. I always have a wonderful experience when here. No dog? No problem. There are plenty of puppers running around enjoying themselves. It’s a great way to meet new friends and can even be therapeutic. 🐾

Fun bar, lots of dogs running around. Was able to watch Six Nations Rugby there. Great drinks, No food but there is usually a food truck and you can bring the food in. Nice place to hang out.

Really cool concept for a bar. Lots of dogs and pet lovers! You can imagine there is a bit of an odour to the place, but the atmosphere makes up for it! The staff are very friendly too.

Such a fun place to bring your dog, great vibes and all the dogs are supervised and controlled by their attentive staff. Great spot to grab a drink and let your pup play. Our dog Beau loves coming to the Dog Bar!

Great BYOF, a great bar and bar tenders, lots of friendly dogs. We shared tables with people you don't know but you feel like family before you leave. A must if you are a dog owner. Even areas for dogs with anxiety.

Took the pups there for bingo night and had a great time! The staff is very friendly and you can tell they love being around dogs. I will definitely go back again

Honestly, I'm surprised I've never reviewed Dog Bar over the years and I'm just realizing this. I absolutely recommend Dog Bar 10 Stars if I could. It's a local hangout for us Humans and our 2 Dogs Mowgli and Bagheera. Great service and events throughout the month. Great Food Truck vendors when you're hungry. Trivia, Bingo, and DJ nights. A ton of fun events for your furbabies as well like costume contest, foam parties, etc. Go check it out. Slower during the week days before the evening if you'd to introduce your furbabies before it picks up later. They have Wooferees in the play areas as well to help out as needed. They do require your furbabies to be up to date on the necessary health items like any other pet facility here. So check out their website for what you need to have and the rules before you arrive. Enjoy it otherwise! 👍😎

This is fun for the whole family! The staff loves dogs and best yet they keep it safe. I recently got a membership and it’s been well worth the money for me and my pup!

We love the dog bar! The bar staff are friendly and look like they actually enjoy their job! They make greats drinks! Cory, Carly, and Christina are our favorites! The ice pools are my dog Ava’s favorite part of being there. They also have food trucks daily, and weekly activities and contest! 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely loved the Dog Bar so much that I said YES! when asked if I'd like to go back twice within a week during my stay on vacation. I wish Austin had something comparable but they're not nearly as executed as The Dog Bar! Great music, great folks running it, great guests both human and doggos! Love the entire setup and the wooferees. 🐕🐾

Loved the Dog Bar!! I had a bit of a rough day and this bar was able to get me back to smiling in no time! There is a large selection of craft draft beer and full liquor bar. More friendly for your dog than probably you. Lol There are a bunch of happy friendly staff and dog owners there. It has a really great relaxed happy, fun and welcoming atmosphere, add alcohol and there is a lot of laughing at all the dogs antics. Highly recommend for friendly dogs and their owners. All ages..

The Dog Bar has become our go-to for going out! They have awesome beers on draft and there’s always something fun going on. Our puppy has gained so much confidence being around other dogs and people and it’s a safe environment with the Wooferees around. The owner is always around as well with his dogs which is great!

Great food and service. The patio is large and comfortable and you can bring your dog if you sit outside. The indoor bar has a large overhead door which is open in nice weather. So even if you sit I side, you feel like you're outside.

Very fun, lots of dogs. Good beer selection. Gotta watch out for occasional drool and kisses from the puppies, and watch where you're walking. They have staff watching out for accidents and cleaning up but there are a lot of dogs. Great place.

Dog Bar has become a multiple-days-per-week destination for us! The ownership, bar staff, wooferees, and the rest of the team treat customers and dogs very well. It is obvious that they are dog lovers and just want everyone to be happy. Management hires legit bartenders and stocks some pretty good stuff! You’re not relegated to a Coors or a vodka soda here - unless that’s what you want :) Fun fact - there is a built-in sprinkler system that sprays and treats the entire outdoor area every night!
