It's my favorite beach of all time! This beach means so much to me and our family. I came to this beach for the first time almost thirty years ago. It was so much different back then. It was quiet and so low-key. It only got busy on the weekends with cars driving by and pedestrians walking along the beach. Now it's such a tourist attraction. Huge hotels have taken over. It's still beautiful with Pier 60, always busy with vendors and sometimes performances. The views from the pier are amazing as well. The gift shop is nice and the ice cream is especially nice too. There's also a nice playground and huge inflatable slides on the beach. I love Clearwater Beach!

Beautiful beach and surrounding area. Lots of shops and eateries to choose from. Showers and other amenities are conveniently placed along the beach. Parking is really the biggest issue as lots around the pier especially fill fast. I'd suggest using the mobilepark app that made it easy to find and pay for parking at the city lots that ran $3 an hour (look for the blue circle with the P)

Beautiful Day at Clearwater Beach. Last week, I visited Clearwater Beach with my family and friends, and it was an experience to remember. As the name suggests, the beach is renowned for its pristine, white sands and crystal-clear waters, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The weather in late November and early December was fantastic, providing the perfect backdrop for our beach day. We indulged in various activities like jet-skiing, parasailing, and stand-up paddleboarding, all of which were exhilarating and fun for the entire group. Cycling and rollerblading along the beachfront promenade added to the charm of our visit. The casual seafood restaurants along the beach offered delightful dining experiences, allowing us to enjoy the local flavors with the beautiful beach view. One of the highlights of our visit was the nightly festival at Pier 60. The street performers and craft vendors created a lively and festive atmosphere, making our evenings there particularly memorable. You will get Chairs with umbrella and cabana for rent here . Overall, Clearwater Beach provided us with a day full of joy, relaxation, and quality time spent with loved ones. Itโ€™s a perfect destination for anyone looking for a mix of adventure, leisure, and scenic beauty. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful beach for an unforgettable experience.

My kids and I LOVED every minute here. We literally stayed on the beach for 10+ hours. Its spacious with over 2 miles of walking shore space. There are restaurants surrounding the area in walking distance. Affordable parking. Activities and tours. Also, street performers came out to entertain. We went in August; weather was perfect. I would def return.

Had an awesome time at the beach and pier 60. For my first time in Florida I got FRIED. Wear plenty of sunscreen always. I enjoyed sunsets at pier 60 for the little hippy shops! Also the birds love pets!

This is a popular vacation spot for a reason! The beaches are what so many flock here for. Itโ€™s easy to fall asleep on the sand on a good day. Plenty of things from the obvious like playing in the sand, socializing, a good spot to exercise or engage in water based sports, biking, plenty of spots to eat nearby and of course great spot to people watch! Itโ€™s a good area to just stop by during lunch just to relax a bit before the daily grind calls again. The soft white sand is such a pleasure on the feet and the beautiful ocean a joy to the eyes. Just as nice at night too the ocean seemingly takes another form as it seemingly became quite dark almost like a nebulous reflection.

It really is a nice beach. Itโ€™s a short walk from a parking garage and as soon as you get off the beach, the shops, hotels & restaurants are right there. The pier was relaxing, but it can get crowded, especially at sunset. You can tell this a tourism destination. Traffic wasnโ€™t the greatest, even in the winter months. It was expensive, including the parking. Be aware of expenses & what time of year you go.

We had a great time site seeing and swimming in the ocean. I went parasailing the 1st time I came and it was an awesome experience. There's a lot of experiences, shops, and restaurants on the strip. There's a play area for the kids. Overall just a great place to vacation or hang out with loved ones and friends. I highly recommend.

Pretty beach, very soft sand. Seemed relatively clean for a public beach. Your typical touris traps abound but it was easy to find parking on the day I went

We had a great time. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at this beach. Not the end of the world but didn't know till we got there. Very clean. The rentals were great. Sit down and claim your spot and the attendant came by somewhere around 10 am to collect payment. They do take cards and gratuity.

Beautiful beach. Sand like powdered sugar. Many activities for families/kids. Beach is very well equipped for water rescues with lifeguard stands and rescue vehicles. Many options for shade cover available on the beach. As a local, I head out here about once a year to check it out. Itโ€™s amazing, growing fast, ands has a lot to offer vacationers. Itโ€™s just really busy all the time.

While I was there they had the Sugar Sand Festival, so they had a few food stands, sand bar, concerts on weekends. The pier had some vendors selling various items. There was also a small carnival for kids. The beach is clean with plenty of restrooms. Since it was Easter week it was a lot visitors. Plenty of Restaurants & shopping in the area.

A great place to watch the sunset. Super soft sand, close parking that's easy to pay with the ParkMobile app, restrooms as well. Can't wait to return one day.

I love Clearwater Beach and have been going there for over 30 years. The city has been doing a lot of work to make it a really nice place to visit and spend time. The parking can be a hassle to find a spot on some days, and I went during the evening so a lot less traffic and people. Nice sunsets and great swimming with lots of things to do.

One of the bast clean beaches in Florida. Not too crowded but you still have some privacy. Parking is not free. Food generally not great.

Great beach to go to. Plenty of room and the water is good for all ages to play in. Only negative was the 2 guys smoking a large amount of weed upwind from us... Thankfully we had lots of snacks...

Best beach!! Clean, kid friendly and sand doesn't get hot and feels like powder. Bounce castles were $35 each unlimited. Took a 3 and 5 year old and they had a blast. Park and street performers were very entertaining. Traffic sucks, busy but still able to find a cabana for free during spring break on a Saturday. Second time visiting and want to come back.

It is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Stunning Sunset, white fine sands, arts and craft markets, and pubs served seafood and draft beers! What else you can expect seriously? Parking is tough, for public parking is always busy, so I chose parking in nearby hotel, but it is okay, only walking distance within 5 minutes to the beach.

The good: it *is* a beach. The bad: it is crowded. No leisurely beach enjoyment here. No ocean view. Just loud music, cigarette, cigar, and marijuana smoke. The water was bathwater warm and not clear. And parking. Wow. Prices ranged from $24-$60 just to park (unless you are fortunate enough to get there early enough to get a spot in one of the lots, which is $3/hour.

This beach has soft white sand and beautiful clear water. The weather was fantastic and the water was perfect. There is lots of paid parking available, although itโ€™s not expensive, but it can get very crowded. I would suggest going on weekdays as itโ€™s not as busy or full. Highly recommend visiting this beach

Love this beautiful beach. Get there early and get easy parking. Beach on one side of the road and shopping on the other. They rent chairs and an umbrella. First come, first serve.I'll definitely be back!

Clearwater Beach offers a picturesque setting with its soft white sands and clear waters. During low tide, we enjoyed sitting on the compacted sand, reveling in the cool waters. However, the proximity to Papaya Street meant that motorboats had stirred up the waters, resulting in some murkiness. Unfortunately, the absence of washrooms or wash stations in our chosen spot posed a challenge. For future visits, sitting closer to the pier is recommended for convenient access to facilities. Despite this, the overall experience was pleasant, thanks to the nice weather and the serene ambiance of this beautiful beach.

Had a great day at the beach. Nice shallow water for the first bit. Large sandy beach. Umbrella with two chairs for rent for $25 for the day. Lots of Parking for a fee and restaurants around. Washroom facilities available. Showers available.

We visited clear water beach on the week of Christmas. Weather was approximately 17C. Water was cold, but was comfortable to walk on the beach. Sand is very fine and perfect for making sand castles. Kids loved playing in the sand. They had some games right next to pier60 like bungee jump and water slides. There is also a kids playground right across the beach. We will plan to visit this place again when water is warmer.

Clearwater Beach is absolutely stunning. The sugar-white sand is soft and pure and cool even during the mid-day heat. The waters are clear and azure and so inviting. The pier only adds the beauty during the stunning sunsets every evening. The only drawback is how crowded the beach is. It is quite literally impossible to find parking and the Clearwater Memorial Causeway is choked with traffic every evening. For that reason only, I give it 4 stars.
