    Do not go here. If you are trying to make an appointment or change an appointment stop now. I have phoned this office a dozen times in 10 days. Never once have I been able to speak to a person. Every single time I am asked to leave a message and told someone will call me back..Via recording..my call is important to them...haha. No it is not and I am evidently quite unimportant to them. My doctor was good. Too bad. The patient services are reprehensible. There are other doctors. Find someone else.

    I have tried to call for three weeks to request blood work for my follow up appointment. I have left several messages as well. I actually begged on there answering machine to call me back! I am a established patient that simply needs the nurse to call in blood work so I can make a follow up appointment to countinue my medications.This is the worst place to try and communicate with. I give up and have found another doctor. I have Never encountered such horrible service from a specialist facility! Northside hospital has a terrible reputation and now I no why!

    Doctors and staff are good (LOVE Dr. Cardona!), but getting through to this place is like getting through to the Pentagon. I've called them and been on hold for literally 30 minutes at a time. If/when someone finally answers, they usually will send me to a voicemail for a callback, which I never get (and I then have to call back all over again and repeat this process) or to an answering service who seem to be answering the phone there 24/7 lately and who tell me to call back "in just a couple of minutes because of high call volume". Uh, OK. I do that and guess who I'm talking to AGAIN when I call back in? Yep, same answering service or voicemail. Two or three times of this usually gets me through to someone eventually, but be prepared to be hold for a LONG time and not able to reach anyone without a couple of calls. I'm currently having a situation that I would like my doctor's input on, and while it is currently not emergent, I would like contact with my doctor and I'm not able to get it. Very frustrated. I left another practice for this same reason and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to be able to get in contact with my doctor in a reasonable timeframe, especially when it's something as critical as cardiac issues. Guessing I'll have to use an urgent care or some such if things worsen and hope for the best.

    The Doctors there are great, this is NOT a negative review of tge care they give. The administration section though is completely lacking. For the second time in the last 2 years, I showed up this am for an Appointment. I was told it had been canceled, and to add insult, that they had tried to call me on 3 occasions since Jun 1st. Said they could not leave a voicemail. Simply not true, as I've had multiple voicemail in that period, and also have missed calls of course. No missed calls from them, none! As another poster indicated, it can be nearly impossible to get them on the phone, and 8 months ago I actually had to go to the office to get a refill because the nurse would not return my voicemails. I hate to change Doctors, but due to poor admin, they are certainly striking out. Note that it is 2 Stars, 5 for the Docs and minue 3 for the staff.

    Frequent calls over 1 month to book appointment. No response to messages left as per recorded instructions. Finally reached human and appt made. Service during appointment was professional and appropriate.

    Really terrible service! Had an indifferent & rushed doc the first time, who barely spoke to me as I sat there in a-fib. They sent a survey, which I filled out, and they called me and connected me with a nicer doc. But-- getting a prescription refilled required leaving multiple phone messages, and sending others through their portal. Then, it was done incorrectly! Need an appointment? No one EVER answers the phone, and I tried over and over for 2+ weeks. After 40 rings, it just disconnects. Try the website where it says "Schedule an Appointment"? Nope- farther down the page it says you must CALL them! Tried calling dozens of times- got a human once who quickly said "Please hold thank you." After 25 minutes on hold, I was disconnected! What a runaround, just to make an appointment or fill a script. I eventually went there in person and collected copies of my medical records. I'm just going to find a new electrophysiologist at a properly-run practice.

    I had an appointment a week ago and when I arrived for my heart checkup I was told Dr. Sanchez was not in the office and that a message had been sent to my phone informing me that my appointment had been cancelled. I did not receive a call either at home (my calls are recorded) or on my cell phone. I made an appointment for the following week for 11:00 am. I waited in the lobby for half an hour before being called, When the doctor finally came in he was very rushed and impersonal. He answered my questions abruptly and was just generally discourteous.

    I love Dr. Wilson and the efficiency of the practice once inside. I hate the phone system and therefore will not be recommending anyone else to this practice because you can never get anyone to answer the phone or even return a message. The last time I resorted to making an appontment at the portal, but I can see where a new patient might get disgusted before getting to that option. Please get this system updated for ease of communicating with your office.

    I take my 88 year old mom there for her follow up appointments very good staff. Dr Sanchez is a great medical Doctor who knows his studies.

    My Doctor , Doctor Mukayed is excellent he is very kind and very knowledgeable , but reaching this office is impossible , I have complained several times at no avail . However personal in the office are generally kind and helpful, but the manager of that office has to do something to make the callas and the internet site available to patients .

    The Dr here are amazing BUT the staff is the worse and I am sure the Dr's have know idea how their patients are being treat over the phones and in person. They have so much turn around within the office and the front staff has know compassion for the person they are checking in and out. My dr office faxed something in a week ago and when I got to my appt they said that it was not received but in reality it was never out into my chart which mad it delay my appt time. The OFFICE MANAGER needs to address these issues within the office because when you call in you can NEVER GET to anyone to answer the phones.

    Had the Nuclear stress test and had bad anxiety but the nurses helped me through it. They were amazing!!! I highly recommend HCA. Everyone is genuine in there caring for there patients.

    Due to circumstances I wasn’t able to fill my prescription for my blood thinner. I called and spoke with the nurse who was very dismissive of me and honestly quite rude. I asked her if it was possible for me to get samples until I can get it worked out she said “I’ll have to speak to the provider and then I will call you back”. A little over a week later and she still hadn’t called me back so I called and spoke with a lovely young lady named Tiffany. Right away she saw that this person approved the samples, but she never called me back. Tiffany told me come on in and I’ll have them ready for you! Thank you Tiffiny for your kindness and calling me right back to come pick up the samples. Prior to speaking to the first woman I still had a few pills left so I wasn’t worried about it but because she never called me I was out of them for several days. Thanks to Tiffany. I’m back on track!

    Florida heart heart institute save my life all of the doctors nurses clinicians everybody there are top of the line unbelievably friendly and I feel like it's my second home... Amazing... Dr Mukayed and Doctor Cardona are amazing praise God they're still here or I wouldn't be

    They have the greatest staff and heart doctor I could ever image! I waited two hours for a heart doctor to clear me for surgery because he was saving a life! This was a very great doctor and I will see him again after back surgery! This was a real doctor that is in medicine to help people first above all else!! The staff was very professional and very caring doing the tests when I was so disabled in pain needing spinal fusion! Thank you so very much dearest people doing your profession with the greatest skill! You helped me get my life back! Thank you so so much! I couldn’t give a higher recommendation!!!

    Dr Walsh is the best cardiologist I've been to and I've been to several of them. Very thorough and tells you what you need to hear not what you want to hear. His nurses and staff are very professional, polite and understanding. I couldn't ask for a better doctor or staff.

    I can't do this place anymore the last time they forgot abt me I had and appointment to put on a heart monitor but they end up doing something else then the call me back to tell me abt the monitor, well I say not to far can I came back well no cuz she other patients ughhhhhh so they had to make another appointment well I got her at 11 is 11:55, hello I been here seen 11. Oh she is running behind. They realy need to update .this place

    Great experience with Dr Mukayed his awesome. Billing department is horrible. They've never file a claim to my secondary insurance . I called them at least 10 times to get it fixed but nothing happened.

    Would give ZERO stars if possible! Wouldn't recommend them; had a horrible experience! Heather Tate and Dr. Wilson REFUSED care/major testing for my husband that was recommended by his neurologist! Thank God the neurologist found another cardiologist.
