Stop driving past this place thinking if you should try it. This is your sign to DO IT. 🥃🍸🍷 Some of the best crafted cocktails around for a perfect date night with bartenders that are extremely friendly and attentive. The menu has really unique specials and the mac and cheese is divine. The vibe inside is swanky but offers a local feel to it. It's really a fantastic little place!

Wow! This was a great find! The food was delicious. We had the charcuterie board, the coconut grouper nuggets (seriously one of the best ever), shishito peppers and pork belly gnocchi. The wine list is awesome. Lots of really great wines on there. And very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!

District South Kitchen had a great mix of food for any foodie. I ordered the Ribeye but the chef wouldn't cook it the way I requested. I settled for the Po-Boy, I didn't want it, but it was OK. Husband ordered the cuban and that was AMAZING. Fries were crispy and hot but because the chef doesn't like honey mustard, there is not any available. The waitresses were superb! The decor was beautiful Seems to me the only issue with this location is the chef...and what he will and will not do to serve the customer.

Chef Cody Tiner does it again! This is a great addition to their sister location in Channelside. Wait staff are very attentive, kind, courteous, and helpful. My wife had the pork belly dish, which she loved. I enjoyed the ribeye steak cooked to perfection. I would usually pair it with a red wine. However, the draft list was so interesting, I decided to go with an IPA. Got the gelato for dessert; it doesn’t disappoint! If you are in the area, definitely a great place to hang with friends or coworkers for drinks or a fantastic meal.

Food was excellent, great choices and a very unique variation of tastes. The prime rib melt is exquisite, the smash burgers were very good and the NY Strip was seared to perfection. We were all presently surprised with how tasty everything was. The wedge salad is gigantic, highly recommend it to be split for two.

District South has a stylish modern laid-back vibe. In my opinion it's a cross between Friends and Cheers! Great craft and nice shareables. They have the best charcuterie board here. Our steak was so tender, cooked to perfection. The broccolini was delicious and the portabela mushroom... No lie " was the best portabela mushroom I have ever had. You can definitely tell they use local, fresh ingredients. Our waitress was friendly, we never had an empty glass. Extraordinary service! We will definitely be back🍻🍸

Was blown away by this place. The cocktails were great and food was spectacular. The apple strudel was to die for. This place is now in our top 5 in Tampa and we'll be going back to try more.

It was just ok, not very many entrees on the menu to choose from. Also the fact that they only offered pork products to go with with breakfast menu was a bit of a disappointment but the meal I did get was pretty good and my breakfast mule was tasty. My friend did enjoy her meal as well

Been in town for a few day and been wanting to try DSK&C and today was the day! The menu was great and I couldn't decide what to order but the waitress was sweet and helped. And WOW! Everything was delicious! Grilled cheese w bacon & jalapeno and duck fat fries. Polenta w mushrooms. And the cocktail was on point. Good job DSK&C! Hopefully I'll have time before I leave town to try other fares. 😃👍

Service and Food was amazing! Had the Mac n Cheese, Ceviche and Pimento dip to start. Ended with the Meatloaf with broccolini and fingerling potatoes which was amazing and my wife loved her Mussels dish she ordered for dinner. Drinks were amazing and the Chef came out to the table and was wonderful to talk too.

I've been once and I was not let down! Extremely delicious food, and I mean extremely good! The drinks are so interesting, you've gotta try the "Squid Game" cocktail. It's different, dark and delicious! Be careful trying their drinks, though... They go down very easily, and there are a few that are mandatory because they are so delicious. I'm not sure how often they serve the prime rib sandwich but I highly recommend it. The burger I had was also better than some regular old burger and it didn't have anything exotic like some of these joints do. Two patties of beef LTOP and the special sauce they make in house. Sometimes restaurants try to get cheeky and will throw some bizarre ingredient in their burger so it's unique. I think their burger was a stand-out and unique just because it was so damn tasty. I can't say enough good things about the place. Staff and employees were super friendly and always polite and courteous. Our drinks didn't stay empty very long. You've gotta stop in sometime soon and eat at District South because it'll leave a great impression on you and your taste buds!

Cutie in the heart of South Tampa. Happy hour was so delicious. Different and welcoming. If you want something quaint with Hella vibe this is your jam.

Visited District South Kitchen & Craft today 8/3/2023 and it was just above an average experience. The inside was much smaller than I had imagined, there seemed to be too many barstools for the bar and the light in the bathroom would be better on some sort of timer. When I ordered the burger, I guess because it was a smash burger, you couldn’t select medium for the burger itself. When it came out, it was well done with some burnt edges, it had a descent taste but not good enough for me to make a return. Would suggest some subtle changes to the interior and maybe an alternative burger where it doesn’t have to be well done.

The food here was done really well. The Cubano had amazing flavor and would definitely recommend, the grilled cheese and the steak fries were also delicious. I want to try other things on the menu and can't wait to come back and try more options.

Oh my word. What a pleasant surprise. My boyfriend and I pass up this restaurant all the time and we decided to take a chance on it as we drove past it. What a pleasant surprise. It’s such a cute restaurant with a nice clean ambiance. They have a bar, indoor, and outdoor seating and a very kind staff. Their menu has some many good things to try and eat, we had a hard time choosing. We enjoyed a fresh salad and ordered some pork and meatloaf to follow. The best meatloaf we have ever had. Such nice and bold flavors, it was gone in seconds, my Pork-chop however was a little on the raw side, the hostess noticed immediately before I even had a chance to tell our waitress. She took it aside and sent it back to the kitchen to be cooked a hit further. The pork was juicy and flavorful as well, we didn’t have room for dessert but we expect to be back soon to try out more of their menu!

This was a nice low-key spot and not in a busy area. The atmosphere was chill and had that grown-up feeling 😎. I really loved the logo on the wall being a muralist also! I ordered the burger which was really good and juicy. All the ingredients were fresh and the fries were good as well!!

Nice little spot. We went for brunch, highly recommend making reservations…there’s not a lot of space in the restaurant area. The customer service was good. But…the wings (with mojo sauce) were very under seasoned. The meat lover’s omelette I had also lacked salt and didn’t have much meat to it. The waffle sandwich was quite tasty. Would recommend this spot…again, make reservations!

We came here for a quick brunch the other day. I had their quiche of the day with a salad. It was the perfect portion and tasted great. The quiche of the day was a steak and mushroom quiche. Everyone loved their food and the service was great! I hear they have a good Happy Hour, which I’d be interested to try!

Everything was delicious. Nice ambiance, excellent service and great wine. Good value for the price. Also, the best presentation ever for this black bean soup!

District South Kitchen and Craft in Tampa is a culinary delight that brings a refreshing twist to Southern cuisine. The vibrant atmosphere and rustic decor create a welcoming setting for a memorable dining experience. The menu is a symphony of flavors, but the standout dish for me was the "Southern Fusion Shrimp Tacos." The crispy shrimp paired with the tangy slaw and zesty aioli delivered a perfect bite that danced on my taste buds. The staff's enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu added to the overall enjoyment. Each dish is a work of art, crafted with care and attention to detail. Whether you're a Southern cuisine aficionado or just looking for a tasty adventure, District South Kitchen and Craft is a must-try. It's a culinary journey through the South that leaves you satisfied and already planning your next visit.

We had a good experience at District South kitchen and craft. We ordered the okra fries to start, and they were okay. I think the really thin batter didn't make them seem as crispy. They were much softer than expected with a charred flavor. I ordered the bottomless mimosas which was good. Just keep in mind that it's only for one person. Each person has to get their own bottle. Both of our entrees were really good. We ordered the steak and egg sandwich and the American breakfast. Overall, we'll be back. We may just try some different starters, they had plenty to choose from.

So, today was my fiance's birthday. I called yesterday to make sure that they would have a candle birthday dessert for her. Josh assured me that everything was good to go. We arrived for our dinner, Josh gave us a high top table and we were seated within 2 minutes. He remembered that we were celebrating a birthday and that was awesome. We asked about the most requested entrees. He suggested the mussels & the smash burger. Wow, the burger tasted like my momma was in that kitchen. The mussels had a wine & roasted tomatoes sauce that blew us away. After dinner, Josh brought their version of an warm apple pie and ice cream dessert with a candle. That dessert was amazing! Our kids shared an ice cream sandwich (croissant) with warm chocolate syrup. They killed it! We often travel and look for great food. We found this gem right here in Tampa. Did I mention the great service by Josh. He was amazing!

Absolutely amazing food! We came in for brunch on New Year’s Day and all ordered something different and nothing disappointed. I personally had the South Tampa Salad with their Guava dressing - wow! My husband got the DS Smash burger and inhaled it. The fries were perfect. My dad ordered the brunch board - not only was it beautiful it was HUGE. My mom and sister ordered the BLT Benedict and both loved it. The poached egg was cooked perfectly. You must check out this new restaurant!

District South was a great spot for dinner! The food was really good, however it was very salty for some dishes like the fresh Mahi. Our waitress was wonderful and we enjoyed the mac and cheese the most!

The food here was so good! I ordered the prime rib melt which ended up being much better than I expected. Their fries are awesome as well! For dessert we had chocolate crème brûlée with vanilla ice cream, which was also great. Definitely 5 stars for the food, but the drinks are expensive ($10 for Tito’s & soda, $12 for sangria) and the restaurant itself is small and loud. Half of it is a bar and there’s a few dining tables on the other end. Just something to be aware of depending what type of vibe you’re looking for!

So far, I really like this place. Its a little small, and that will become more of an issue as people discover this little gem. I've only had the Graze Board and wings, so I still have yet to explore the menu deeper. The craft cocktails are fantastic. The Breakfast Old Fashioned did the job. Service was great. Looking forward to going back.

This is a hidden gem in Tampa. The food, drinks, and atmosphere exceeded my expectations! I came here for a Sunday brunch, and it is the perfect spot as they had NFL coverage on the inside TVs. I had an espresso martini and the Virginia Park Brunch Board to start. It was the perfect appetizer to share as there were so many different components to the board- this alone could be a meal for one! I also had the French Onion soup, which is the tell tale dish to determine if the chef is actually good or not. No surprise, it was phenomenal. The onions were caramelized and the Gruyère was perfectly melted. I also had the Meat Lovers Omelette which was delectable. You can tell that Chef Cody puts just as much care into every single dish!

A diamond! We just had the BEST brunch. Staff is quite amazing and we enjoyed everything! They were not busy but I have feeling that will change soon!

District South is a special find. The entire staff is so incredibly friendly and they genuinely care about those they are serving. We’re in from out of town staying across the street spending the days and nights in the hospital with mom - everyone from Joshua, Mel, Bobby, Luis… they’ve all given us reasons to smile and have made the evenings fun. The drinks are fantastic, the menu is absolutely delicious. Feels like visiting family when walking in those doors. Impressed and grateful don’t really cut it. Y’all are amazing

Had an outstanding meal at District South Kitchen & Craft recently and I'm already craving more. Their prime rib melt was a game-changer – tender meat, crunchy bread, and perfectly sautéed onions. Let's not forget about those crispy, well-seasoned fries that come with it. All in all, an epic sandwich! And man, their beer selection? Top-notch. I went with the Summer Shandy from Wisconsin, and it was exactly what you want for a summer meal - light and super refreshing. My wife dove into the pork belly gnocchi, and it was a hit. The pork belly was tender with a nice crunchy exterior, and the gnocchi was something special. Bottom line, District South Kitchen & Craft is a must-try. Great food, great beer, and a relaxed vibe - what more can you ask for? Can't wait to get back and try more of their menu. If you appreciate good food and a chill atmosphere, give this place a go. You won't regret it!

Very hip and delicious food. Each dish was different from the standard, and did the smallest things right. No flavor was out of place. Only critique would be I did not love the dips with the pretzel, good pairings, but they lacked a bold flavor. Service was very friendly, even had the gentleman who delivered the cheese board explain each and every component.

Went on Saturday night without a reservation. It is not a big place & I highly recommend reservations on the weekend. Luckily, my friend got there first and nabbed some bar seating before it filled up. Everything was delicious. We shared a mac n cheese appetizer. I had a chopped salad and we shared a chocolate creme Brulee dessert. My friend loved her chicken and goat cheese sandwich. Food and drinks were prompt. Staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming.

Beware food is good but my waitress doubled tipped herself while I paid cash for her tip. So don't leave until you final receipt she mustnhave thought she deserved 22.00 versus the 11.00 cash I left. Waitress is Hanna you all beware. The manager made it right. He was able to fix the over charge but the excuse provided does not match the thought process of changing the signed receipt. I always take a picture of.my receipts just in cases like these.

We visited on a Saturday evening while we were in town for the night and did not make reservations ahead of time so we sat at the bar. We were promptly greeted and our orders were taken quickly. We ordered the Garlic Parm Bread for an appetizer which was amazing! I ordered the Bird & Grain for dinner which was delicious. The flavors were just incredible. My boyfriend ordered the Steak Frites and enjoyed that as well. The atmosphere inside is really nice and relaxed. It is fairly small so I'd recommend making a reservation if you're able to do so, but we have a great experience sitting at the bar too which is first come, first served. Great service and atmosphere with amazing food!!
