AkiMi's Gourmet was a “sweet” surprise. All my family members have sweet tooth- consume sugar and sit guilt ridden the whole day. But, when we order from AkiMi's Gourmet, we know they are curating something healthy with high quality ingredients. The cakes are rich, smooth, and light. Many of their choices are sugar-free, gluten-free and vegan, yet delicious. The cakes melt in the mouth and your heart. My mom loved the Rose and Pistachio cake, and was literally poking holes into it to find the secret behind the delightful taste. I have only reached out to them on whatsapp from different timezones/countries – the experiences have been hassle-free and warm. AkiMi's Gourmet truly care about bringing the creative delicious desserts to your table, and they nail it!

Probably my favourite spot in town!! I got their lemon almond cupcakes for an office party and they were an instant hit amongst everyone. The birthday girl ordered a cake for her family from Akimi's too. Their chocolate cake was delicious too. It was a perfect balance of rich chocolate without the heaviness that usually comes with baked goods. Excited to try some new pasteries again next time.

My order with AkiMi's Gourmet was rather last minute how ever, I was comforted and reassured with how swiftly the order was handled. Akila was warm and quick to respond to any query. I'm so relieved that Chennai has such a delightful space for gluten free food. We ordered a dark chocolate cake with berries and my fussy and hard to please 5 year old squealed with delight as he chomped his way though. Gosh! The cake was so moist, rich and sinfully decadent. Each bite sent you to dark chocolate heaven. So fudgy, soooo good! I still dream of it! Simply delicious, guilt free desserts! They have always delivered on their promise of yummy wholesome food! Their vegan mango cake is by far the most decadent, light an and fresh cakes I’ve ever eaten! It’s unfortunate that it’s seasonal! The chocolate (with anything) jars are to die for- so creamy, just the right amount of sweetness and crunch!! and as a bonus they are dairy free too! I’ve ordered the vegan lemon blueberry cake with dairy free white chocolate on more occasions that I can count. The entire family loves it! One of the few places I am comfortable ordering for my child. I know they use quality ingredients and do not use refined sugar in most if not any products. Their service and delivery is spot on too! Would highly recommend AkiMi’s for anyone looking for quality desserts!

Hands down THE BEST cakes and bakes in Chennai, if not India! The rose pistachio cake was sooo delectable, the pecan pies were simply out of this world and insanely delicious, and the all the cookie varieties are just unexplainably divine. I live in Singapore and whenever my mum asks me what I would like from Chennai when she comes to visit, treats from AkiMi are my one and only request! And you would NEVER be able to tell that they're free from gluten. Absolutely a must-try for any, every and no occasion even 😋🤤💝

I’ve ordered from Akimi twice now, and I’ve been blown away both times! Not only do they respond fast so that decisions can be made quick, they makes the most delicious, mouth- watering treats! Who knew Vegan desserts could be so much fun! The presentation is always on point, gorgeous in fact. And you can never just be satisfied with one helping! I would totally recommend this space for people who have opted to go vegan ( and others too, just to try it!)

My Akimi go-to is the almond flour chocolate cake with berries - indulgent and full of that warm chocolate goodness my family and I can't enough of. The pecan pie bars are fantastic too! I admire that the sweet treats are always consistent and look forward to trying more.

I had ordered red velvet, chocolate and vanilla almond cake and all of them were fabulous - presentation, texture and taste were outstanding . I also tried their Christmas gift hamper - my entire family loved it . Not to forget - the pistachio cake was the best pistachio cake that I have ever had . Everyday I pass by AkiMi’s and I always wanted to visit them! They’ve got Brookies, Jar cakes, Brownies, a few pastry options and the best part of them are guilt free and vegan options available!! Their Molten Chocolate Jar is too too good! It’s definitely not like the ones you get in any random bakery sort, the texture is so soft and fudgy and has no refined sugar! Tho it’s on the expensive side .. it’s definitely worth it 💗

Their cakes are just so lovely and guilt free options makes the dessert time even more worth it. Their mini cakes are true savior for immediate consumption. I love their rose pistachio cake , lemon blueberry cake and the seasonal tart pie. Their team is so friendly and responds immediately even for last minute orders.

I had ordered from Akimi at the very last minute for my dad’s birthday and expressed that I wanted something healthy and yummy at the same time! I ordered to rose pistachio cake and I received a cake straight out of the oven! It was so fresh and warm and my dad loved it so much. AkiMi gourmet is always a saviour to my sweet cravings, their brownies carrot cake and the bites r to drool over, brownies and carrot cake will melt in ur mouth, such a treat to the palate, the best ive tasted so far, they bake in small batches, they have healthy vegan options, savoury, smoothies to let u off from sugar guilt, if i have blues one thing that comes to my mind is AkiMi gourmet.

If you like snacking between meals like I do, Akimi's has a good range of energy bites. I recently found them on Instagram and I'm glad I gave them a shot. Their brownies are to die for!

Akimi’s gourmet is a place where you can get healthier guilt free dessert options. I have tried their almond flour chocolate cake and it’s absolutely decadent and so delicious also very moist and soft. Can’t believe it’s not made from refined flour ! Their raw mango pie is such a well thought of dessert which is healthy too .. Totally guilt free ! It is very light and doesn’t make you feel awfully full like one usually feels after having a desert of this sort.

Bought the almond flour chocolate cake and it was really really good! Truly amazed that something that is gluten free, refined sugar free and dairy free could taste sooo good. You really can't identify a difference between this and a regular cake with the usual ingredients, except maybe that this is much much better!!! Its a bit more on the expensive side but i say it's worth it. Can't wait to try other products from them!

I found it to be one stop shop for all my snack needs be it a vegan, sugar free or cheat day snack/smoothie. Their must try are - Brownies, Postpartum bites, Green smoothie and Carrot cake.

AkiMi has a great curated menu of healthy delicious snack options. I have tried their strawberry cake, carrot cake and cranberry bites; loved all of them! As a bonus, the business is run by 2 lovely, kind, hardworking women. Highly recommend ordering from them.
