    I wanted to give Zero ratings for this property. One of the worst place and employees. U will get cheated by receptionist. No room service, no water. AC will not work, no TV, no pillow. ROOMS are highly dirty and it will smell very bad. Entire hotel will look like dirty godown. My request not to choose this hotel at all for family members. Once they collect money, they will not respond. Be careful with receptionist. They will loot your money.

    1. They are not accepted the online payment and shows very rude behavior when I checked in. The receptionist said you could have only booked the rooms but shouldn't have paid online. I will not allocate the rooms. 2. As I have my family with me and it's evening I don't have any choice left to look for some other hotel, I have accepted to pay them their charges with an assurance that they will initiate a online refund of what I have paid. But 12 days passed there is no refund received. This is clear fraudulent practice they did. 3. Rooms are very very smelly and on hygienic. 4. I would never prefer OYO ever with the worst experience me and my family suffered.

    ***DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM*** Unfortunately we had to deal with these scamsters as our booking was updated to 'closest property nearby' at the last moment from OYO. We went there at 10:30PM and they didn't provide us any accommodation saying OYO didn't consult with them before booking. We're on call with OYO customer support for about an hour during which they tried to reach this property but they didn't pick up the calls and didn't even wanted to talk to support people via our phone as well. We're left stranded in the middle of the night with women and children alongside. We left the property and asked for refund from OYO. Later we came to know that the property has marked us as 'check in'. Once we asked for register proof and ID if they had any, as it was a blatant lie, the property then switched their position saying we didn't have any ID with us so they denied entry. Please save yourself from the harassment and book anywhere than this.

    I never write bad reviews. But truthfully very bad experience here. During checkin my name was in the system but saff said no rooms you can search elsewhere directly and said i have to complain to oyo and they will do the needful. Then as i walked out they called me back and gave me a non ac room although i had booked for ac. And charged me 200 rs extra. Room was pathetic completely stained bedsheets no blanket. Washroom was very unhealthy room filled with mosquitos. Basically nothing was touchable. Unfortunately i had no choice and satyed no sleep because of this environment. Got up and checked out immediately. Please be careful going forward. Hotels are for visitors like us to stay happily and enjoy the stay in the city not to feel so bad. Elevator not working and had to climb up multiple times. Dont know what elders will do if they choose this. Basically needs a lot of improvement. Please please be careful in being hygienic and care for people.

    This is the worst oyo room i have ever seen.. the receptionist was rude and a fool... I booked ac room.. he denied to gave .. and i contacted oyo... After that also he denied ... Made me to wait for an hour despite of the sun... Pls dont dare to book this hotel... Suggest oyo to remove this hotel from the app.. to save people's money..

    If only I could give negative ratings, I would gladly give for the worst hotel stay experience ever I had in my life. Very Inconsiderate and Disrespectful staff, zero accountability, highly irresponsible behaviour. We had booked a family unit room (we were a group of 5, so we booked 2bhk setup) one day prior (we had already called and informed that we would check in around 10.30 am) and paid the advance also for it since it was available, but when we reached there after over 9 hrs of travel by 11 am, we found out that they had already allocated that room to someone else, which we have no clue why we had to pay in advance to block the room. (We had specifically asked for that room in lower floor and paid for it, which they assured, since two of us cannot climb stairs due to medical reasons, that was also communicated to them beforehand while booking the room - Note: Lifts were not working). After trying to reason with them, they said they will arrange for alternate rooms and provided us rooms which didn't have the plug sockets and bathroom heaters working, so we were unsatisfied and asked to allocate us a different room. They said they will arrange for it in an hour, but were negligent and after continuous insistence, gave us temporary but separate rooms by 3.30 pm (which by the way was totally against the reason we wanted to stay together as a family and booked the family unit) and it was on the 2nd floor even though we said we had elders who cannot climb stairs, which they didn't even heed to. We could have gone to another hotel, but we came for an urgent emergency, and were pressed against time due to our plans and we didn't have much window to go and search for other hotels in the area. Also they refused to refund our booking amount even though it was their mistake to allocate the room we booked to someone else, so we had to stay there. One of the rooms they allocated to the ladies in our family had gents smoking and having alcohol in the common shared area, which when we complained to the reception and they reluctantly switched our room again after strongly refusing. Adding to the chaos, we had also booked a single room unit prior to our arrival for one of our guests, which we had told them that they will check in by 4 or 4.30 pm and asked them to allocate only after 4 pm. So in essence, we got our rooms by 3.30 pm and we told them to have the guest room ready for check in by 4 pm. But they had booked all our arrival time as 11 am, including for the guest even though we were checked in only after 3.30 pm. So the next day they kept bothering us to vacate by 11 am itself stating that we entered their premises by 11 am so that will be our room timing despite getting checked in only after 3.30pm. Only for the guest we were able to buy time till 2pm, and we were forced to vacate by 11am itself. Also the room AC was not working, TV didn't work,there were high amount of mosquitoes, poor maintenance, lifts didnt work, they don't clean the sheets properly, no toiletries or towels, no drinking water in the room, restrooms had a lot of stains. Adding to that, they said they had separate car parking during our earlier enquiry, but when we reached there, they said the internal parking was only for 2 wheelers and we had to park the cars outside on the road. This was such a horrendous experience and the worst ever hotel stay I had ever seen. The staff were totally unbothered about any of the inconvenience, and didn't even seem to care about their mistakes, were arrogant and very bad attitude, kept acting up as if we had to be at their mercy. When we were checking out, another guest was also arguing at the reception for something, and with all the other reviews here, it is clear that the management doesn't even bother to care about their guests or take any steps to improve their service. KINDLY AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF TIME, MONEY AND MENTAL PEACE!!

    Pathetic response by the people at the reception. They promise one and deliver something else. Horrible rooms with fans not working, washrooms leaking and no water. Cigarettes smell all around. The receptionist is horrible and they hike prices out of the blue and we have to talk through to get the quoted/promised price and get the refund amount in case we have overpaid. They try to cheat and play around and talk rubbish. Highly not recommended.

    *These are fraudsters. *Please don't go to this hotel or Flagship 84116 Grand Residency hotel as well. *These hotels are of JAYAM Group and is a big fraudster. *They ask for more money along with Oyo booking. *Receptionist is rude and misbehaving *AC doesn't work *Lift doesn't work *Water doesn't come 24 hr problem *Bed, pillows and all are very dirty, like they haven't changed after previous use. *Unhygienic and very dirty washroom, unflushed from previous use. *Broken ceiling *Broken fan.....you may get hurt. *Risk of theft. In total they're r0bers to loot the customers. Please avoid it.

    Really this was my worst experience in this Hotel. I booked the hotel room for a week from OYO app and payed the entire amount and when I reached their for the room they asked to pay extra 2000/- to handover the room key. I have registered a complaint with OYO team as well in front of me when the OYO representative called the owner they lie said they showed me the room and I didn't liked the room. However the fact was they want me to pay extra amount. It's a worst hotel and no room clean nothing hygiene and plz don't go this hotel.

    3rd class hotel n manager. Reception person behavior is very rudely. I booked through a oyo app and the payment also done through online and the oyo given this hotel for stay and they not even taking the booking they are asking extra money 2000 for alocating the room. The Reception person not even lifting the oyo mangers call. I infront of him and he said he will not lift the call. If you're paying extra I'll allocate the room or else you can leave from here. Very worst hotel if you book directly hotel at other place its good and the hotel also not near to road we need to inside 500m form the road.

    Very cheap people in Reception. There doing very fraud. Actually my booking is confirmed with 509rs of amount in OYO App. But the receptionist was asked extra amount. Nd his talking vry too much nd rash. Nd he calling to police for give complaint. They asked 1000rs for extra amount. That is non/Ac. They are not maintaining well. Literally they want to fight with customers. Plz guys don’t go to that hotel. Very very worst hotel.

    Fraud Alert , Stay away from this property. Extra charge, no hospitality, the receptionist thinks he is Lord. You can watch a stout man sitting on couch, he is the owner he ll watch everything but he ll be behave like he doesn't know anything. Have seen 4 to 5 check in deny in a single day, many guest with family had to pay more than the booking amount, coz no other option left.

    A sham. Staff ( in dirty clothes ) were very rude and behaved asif they were doing a favour to us. There's plenty of space. But it appears that no cleaning takes place. Garbage is dumped outside the door. Even after request it was not removed. In rooms there's no basic amenities like toiletries/ towel/ mats/ tv/ geyser etc. Bedsheets/pillow cover were unwashed. Even water was not there.But water bottles were sold separately outside. Even though in OYO it was mentioned it was AC room they charged Rs 400 extra for AC (In the sultry weather there's no other alternative and had to shell out) It's the best example for the worst possible accommodation. OYO perhaps blindly signed them without any inspection. They should be ashamed to include Oaks residency in their list. Keep miles away from Oaks residency.

    Staffs behaviour will be more frustrating. They ask for more money than it shows in OYO or Any other websites when you checkin. And Some staffs was drunk while working. AC wasn't working, WiFi was connected but no internet. No Hot Water. Room wasn't clean. It better to sleep in platform rather than preferring this.

    Worst ever stay I had in my life. Receptionist not allocated room as per I booked in Oyo. He asked extra amount to provide those services. Showing his attitude and fearlessly saying "you can complaint to Oyo. I won't bother". If really Oyo didn't cares, then there's no need to asking reviews. Really I lost hope on Oyo for future bookings.

    Very very worst experience. Room not clean, TV, AC not working. Especially bathroom was bad experience not even cleaned and be smell comes from bathroom and overall room. Another point is Receptionist asking additional 300 top of OYO invoice. Rude behavior from them.

    The place is run by liars and crooks. You book through the oyo app and once you reach the property, they will tell you that the room is not available and will ask you to pay extra for a deluxe room. When you call oyo for refund, they will lie to the agent that no one came to the property.

    Never stayed in such awkward OYO hotel till now. Rooms were ok, but dirty bedsheets n blankets which are stinky n dirty. Asked them to change n they gave more dirtier one. Reason they told is Dhobi has not come due to rains in Chennai. What Oyo promises is clean rooms n washrooms with good linen. Highly disappointed. It's not Oaks, it's awkward.

    Alert: STAY AWAY. Family Beware: Never Ever opt for this place. First thing the staff will demand excess money against the booking price and blatantly deny your accommodation if you don't agree. The rooms are very unhygienic, irresponsible staff, none of the facilities advertised on OYO are available at this property. People come here to party and one night stands. I booked this place and had to stay with no choice, the cleaning staff themselves got into one of the vacant rooms and started smoking and drinking, rest of the night there were a group of people drinking and smoking and shouting through the night. Last but not the least the beds, it's better to sleep on the ground than to sleep on these beds, STAY AWAY

    Horrible experience..!!! First Oyo showed my two days bill was around ~1300/- but while check in it became around 3000/-.I had to pay extra 1700/- to the hotel.Hotel was very worst and it was not a family hotel.Every 1 or 2 hour some couples were coming using hotel rooms..No AC, No geasure,no basic services..I don't want to book hotels through OYO in future.They just looted my money..I want my money back and expect better service in future to others ( please do not cheat the innocent people).

    It is totally unsafe for families. They are not accepted the online payment and shows very rude behavior when I checked in. The receptionist said you could have only booked the rooms but shouldn't have paid online. I will not allocate the rooms.

    Hatred the hotel. Can not give lower score. The manager is a third class cheap person. This is hourly rate hotel. Do not expect clean rooms. No sheets in room. No towels. Not even changed sheets given.even water bottle money is charged whereas everywhere else complimentary water bottle or free aquaguard access is given. Room full of mosquitoes. Ac not working properly. Extra money charged. No lights in floors or in the room.

    Very bad check in experience, receptionist not even listening anyone. Asking for more money for AC room even after showing the reference in OYO as AC room in room facilities. Provided room after 1 hour waiting and it was not in good condition.

    I would have a given a -1 stars if that was available. - Booked through OYO, they charged 550, but when we went there hotel incharge demanded 1000 rs extra - Most rooms do not have any sanitization and bathrooms are not cleaned, it looks worse than a bus stand lodge - NO AC in most of the rooms, pictures shown online are fake, I don't think there is rooms - since OYO has made all hotels a couple friendly, I can see 2 and 1 hour couples πŸ˜… Street name was too apt "KAMAKODI STREET" - I hope that's the perfect one for this hotel

    I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at "Collection O The Oaks Residency" in Chennai, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. Here are the reasons why I strongly advise against staying at this OYO property: 1. **Without Original ID, No Entry:** Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with an absolute lack of hospitality and professionalism. To our shock, the hotel staff refused to allow us inside our booked room because we didn't have the original ID with us. This meant that we had to sit there in the lobby, like stray dogs, for hours. It was a humiliating and frustrating experience, and the staff showed no empathy or willingness to accommodate guests who might not have their original ID on them. 2. **Unreasonable Policies:** The people behind the policies at "OYO" seemed to have no understanding of customer service or basic human decency. In the hospitality industry, flexibility and understanding are essential. Unfortunately, the staff at this hotel seemed oblivious to this fact. Sometimes they have valid reservations and identification that can be verified through electronic means. 3. **E-Aadhaar Rejection:** In this day and age, e-Aadhaar is accepted virtually everywhere in India. It is a valid government-issued identification document, and there's no reason for a hotel, especially one under the OYO brand, to refuse it. To make matters worse, both the hotel and OYO support were unhelpful and uncooperative, insisting on a hard copy of the Aadhaar card. The Government of India has clearly stated that e-Aadhaar should be treated as an original document, but the property manager at "Collection O The Oaks Residency" seemed unaware or unwilling to comply. 4. **Communication and Treatment:** The communication barriers at this OYO property were astonishing. The property manager didn't know English, and as a result, interacting with him was a frustrating ordeal. Not only did he fail to understand our concerns and requests, but he also treated us with utter disrespect. Being forced to sit outside the hotel, exposed to mosquitoes, and receiving such disrespectful treatment was not what we had in mind when we made our reservation. In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how unpleasant our stay at "Collection O The Oaks Residency" was. The complete lack of understanding and flexibility, refusal to accept valid identification, and the appalling treatment by the property manager left us feeling disheartened and disappointed. I strongly recommend avoiding this OYO property at all costs. Countless other hotels in Chennai will treat you with the respect and dignity that every guest deserves.

    Totally Fraud,Illiterate peoples they are I booked AC room in this hotel through OYO app,When I reached the hotel they provide me Non AC room because I am single guest after that they demand extra 1200 for provide me AC room because I am new in Chennai and Next Day I have a exam so I Don't have another option I ready to stay in Non AC Room. After when I go to the room they provide me his hotel Store room for stay 2 days.then I leave the hotel and book another hotel.Please dont waste your money and time there are so many hotels in hotel you can book anyone but dont book this one.

    I liked the rooms... Its basically appartment with multiple rooms. You will feel like home but because of multiple rooms in apartment highly likely you might share with others. So at end we left because we were getting shared rooms Also the market is not nearby in case you want to have a walk or dinner it wouldn't be recommended considering solitude of the place .

    The worst and unhygienic place in the world. AC will not work, bathroom is smelly much worst than any dirty place. No towels given, no drinking water, bathroom will make you feel not to use, bed bugs on the bed makes you not to sleep. The guy asked as to check-out as we asked him to clean.

    I don't even like to describe it with a STAR, useless property ever have had stayed, such a poor responce in terms of booking.was a night mare even after receiving an non A/C room whilst have had already paid for a an AC room. Worst ever, we got it booked for 400, online but we were forced to pay 606 at the time of booking. Very worst property and do not prefer or suggest. Book this if yo wanna die out of head ache and blood pressure. I would rate this as an No1 useless place. terribly Kuppa Thotti.
